Amber Savannah James Jackson padded though the forest, happily letting her eyes flick from one place to another. She was hungry and having wanted to explore, Miss Jackson decided it would be fun to wander off a bit. For once, her brothers had decided Ace wasn't worth following and had stayed home. Amber's light blue eyes seemed to shine as the sunlight bounced off them. She enjoyed being in her wolf form more then her human form; she even fought better in her wolf form.
Amber sighed lightly, wishing for someone to talk to. As much as she enjoyed being alone, it was nice to speak to someone. A "grin" washed onto Acer's face; Oh how she missed Seth. It had seemed like weeks had gone by before she had seen him. Her stomach burst into butterflies as she thought about Seth, it drove her utterly nuts... She miss him, but there was nothing she could do about it. They were imprints, but it was hard to show it, if they were never together. The light brown wolf whined at her nervous stomach before spotting antlers in the distance. Immediately, the light brown wolf flicked her ears back and jogged silently towards the deer. Coming up under some bushes, Ace waited for the right moment before... A squeal of warning erupted from an elk as Amber burst from the bushes, tackling one, biting into it's neck. The rest had scattered, sending a slightly "smirk" to the wolves blood covered muzzle.
With a wolfish "smile," Amber finished off the deer. It wasn't very big, having been only a baby, but it was weak and she had asked the spirit to forgive her. She licked her jaw, making sure the blood was off her face before leaving the remains. She loved the thrill of hunting; although when she hunted with her brothers, they worked like an well-oiled machine. Ace smiled lightly before looking around. With a close of her eyes, Amber shifted from her wolf to her human form. The 15 year old smiled lightly before heading through the forest once more.
The light-brown haired girl smiled lightly as she watched the sunlight flick through the trees. Ace smiled brightly before having that feeling she was being watched. She bit her lip and jerked her head around to look. Seeing nothing, Ace started up again, only to shift back into her wolf form. She always felt safter in her wolf form. With a silent look around, Ace jogged along, looking over her shoulder every so often. There couldn't be anyone there, who in their right minds would be out here, the deadliest thing out here was Werewolves.... Right?

Jasper headed out of the house at a run, weaving in and out of the trees at a quick pace he had a lot on his mind and one of his coping methods with stress was to clear his head and he found running was one of the best ways to deal with it. Rosalie was annoying him about his decision with the Volturi, he could feel her anger glaring at him down as soon as he entered a room she did not understand his decision process he knew that Carlisle had spoken to her about her attitude towards him, but it had not done anything. As much as he loved his family he needed to get away from them all some time especially Rosalie, as he ran through the woods the stench of blood reached him causing him to stop. The scent however was thankfully not human it was animal, somebody or something was hunting near by climbing the nearest tree Jasper jumped between the trees following the scent until he found the body of a deer.
From his position in the tree's he assessed the body of the dead deer there was a deep indentation in the neck which had killed it judging by the size of the mark it was no Vampire or human hunter, there was only one beast with the capability and that control to kill only one of the deer without going after the rest of the herd that was around. Jasper had deduced this from the hoof prints and the floor and the torn shrubbery from them running away, the beast that had done this was a shifter a werewolf, the smell was also still lingering in the area as well, moving from tree to tree he located the werewolf in question Amber Jackson. She was a good friend of Jacob's, so he had met her a few times and the two of them got on quite well, following her slowly he planned his jump so he landed next to her hoping to surprise her "Hello Amber, how are you doing?" He could do with a fresh perspective Amber was a shifter and therefore did not have to worry about the Volturi troubles he was facing, she did not even have any idea about them unless Rensmee or Bella had mentioned it to Jacob. "Nice kill on the deer, but you really should stash the body or someone might think there is a wild animal on the loose" Teasing her was a little bit of fun he knew she would take it light heartedly or hoped she would, for creatures that should be mortal enemies they were actually good friends, being around werewolves so much meant Jasper was getting use to their horrible stench and was actually beginning to find it quite bearable.

The vampire had been thinking about a lot of things—mostly the upcoming ball in which her husband was required to work for the Volturi, but for the moment she tried not to think about it. Instead she had gone out for a hunt. A hunt in which she was going to trap and kill a bear—so that she could feed off of it. It hadn’t taken but a few minutes for the pixie like vampire to find a bear worthy enough to become her next meal. She smirked as she waited for a moment before running at it, knocking it to the ground and sinking her teeth into it. She knew there were no humans around as her senses would have dictated it. She had sharp senses, her hearing—her vision—and her sense of smell had improved throughout the years. It was one of the things she liked the most. Although there was some sunlight, her body glowed—in an sparkle kind of a way, the way their true form was.
Devouring the bear as any vampire could, it brought a smile upon her face. Yes, she was a vampire—and although she didn’t like to hurt people—or animals, she preferred the less violent nature that killing animals brought. It didn’t mean that animals didn’t have feelings the way that humans did—but she was less worried about the animals than she was about actual people, as it was less messy to just sink her teeth into an animal. She actually didn’t mind the hunt, though she preferred to have one of her family members with her but sometimes that just wasn’t possible. She knew Carlisle was at the hospital, and Esme was at home working on her latest design, but as far as her niece and her siblings were concerned she had no idea. Jasper had still been at the house that morning when she had taken off and she had told him that she needed to hunt but he had said he had some errands he had to take care of first before he could join her.
Taking an unneeded breath she walked through the forest, having disposed of the carcass of the bear within a matter of minutes. Taking a run through the forest, she instantly picked up the stench of a shifter—and a familiar one—the scent of her beloved husband. She was grateful to see him as she knew that Jasper had alot of things on his mind due to the Volturi’s interference once again in their lives. Carlisle was a man of good faith—and had tried to keep the tension in the house down but Rosalie, their sister, was making it all too difficult to stay in the same house with her—due to her nagging and annoying Jasper abotu his decision he was trying to make about the Volturi’s offer.
She knew that Jasper needed time for himself which was precisely why she hadn’t bugged him about what he was going to do today. The blood—from an unknown source was also present along with her husband and the shifter’s scents. It was something she knew wasn’t human. Taking a quick moment she ran until she was just a few feet from them. She watched from behind the trees, as her husband investigated the dead deer carcass that was nearby. She watched her husband find the shifter in question before moving through the trees to get closer to him in case she was needed. Appearing high in the trees, she could see everything below her, and this was a good place to wait it out.
But after a few minutes, it became clear that there was no threat, that Jasper seemed to know this shifter and therefore that could mean another ally for them both. Jumping down from the trees she landed behind her husband. The humans had enough disposals on their hands, given how many vampires came in and out of the forst on a daily basis, and not just their family but there were others—the ones that migrated all over the place, no matter the time of the year—that also did their killing in the woods. Sometimes it was peaceful sometimes it wasn’t—as in the case of Victoria, Laurant and James, those three had lost their lives due to their lack of intelligence and their desire to kill Bella. “Hi, Jazz. But you’re right, you know, better safe than sorry if you ask me. Disposing of the deer might be your best bet.” She grinned as she looked at her husband and then back at the shifter. “You must be Amber, right? Nice to meet you, I’m Alice....Alice Cullen. I don’t think we’ve had the oppertunity to meet yet.” She replied in the way she had with all those she introduced herself to.

Amber nearly snarled as someone called her name. She whipped around and stopped, seeing it was only Jasper. She had met Jasper many times before, having been imprints with Seth. The 15 year old listened as the vampire greeted her before commenting her on her kill. A small smirk trailed her face and she opened her mouth to speak before another voice piped in. A pixe-haired girl jumped down from a tree before speaking about disposing of the body. Amber listened as the pixe-haired vampire introduced herself as Alice.
"Hello Jasper, Good to see you again..." The 15 year old smiled brightly at the male vampire before turning to the vampiress,"Hello Alice, Yes I'm Amber, It's an honor to meet you, I've heard much about you... Yes, I know I should have, but it seemed a little eaiser to leave the body," Amber often hid the bodies of her kills, but was feeling lazy, having had a small midnight run through the forest with her brothers. Amber had easily slipped past the boys, who were almost dead.
"And how has the rest of your family been, Jasper, Alice?" Amber asked the two vampires. It seemed rude to only address one, so she found it best to speak to both. She hadn't seen Renesmee at all since their last meeting in the La Push woods. The vampire hybrid and Amber had gotten along quite nicely; Actually Nessie was one of the first "people" Amber had met, next to Seth. The 15 year old ran a hand through her light brown hair as she waited for Jasper's and Alice's reply.

Jasper smiled and nodded as Amber greeted him, it had made him chuckle watching her spin around nervous by his arrival, he could not say he had not meant to frighten her, but it had found her panic a little amusing. As Alice landed next to him the small smile on his lips grew, he had known she was close he had sensed her emotions, her concern and love she was as easy to read as a book he did not need his power to know what she was thinking. He was about to introduce her, but of course Alice did that first, she enjoyed making new friends and he was remind of her excitement into the months leading up to meeting Bella for the first time, that had been a fun couple of weeks. She too made a comment about Amber not disposing her kill which made him chuckle he knew Amber would not approve of them teasing. "You should be more careful, but don't listen to me you never do" Jasper had heard a lot about Amber from Seth before he had met her, the young guy was crazy about her and it was one of the reasons he got on so well with Amber because he knew so much about her.
Reaching over Jasper took Alice's tiny delicate hand in one of his much larger rougher hands, he did not want to make Amber to uncomfortable with them both around, but he was sure she would not mind them both holding hands. "They're all good, how are all your brothers?" Jasper lied when asked about their family, if she wanted further explanation he could leave that to Alice he did not really want to talk about them at the moment he had come out here to escape thinking about them, but that was not Amber's fault this Jasper knew and he did not want to take his pain out on her. Instead he focused on stroking Alice's hand gently with his thumb, it was a therapeutic motion and it relaxed him for some odd reason, it might just be because he was so close or her and that was all he needed to relax.

Knowing the complications that could happen due to the many differences shifters and vampires like herself and Jasper were. The young girl in front of her was no more than fifteen. She couldn’t help but smile at Jasper, and Amber. “It’s an honor to meet you as well. I wish I could say I’ve heard alot about you, but my husband here hasn’t exactly told me anything, nor have the others.” She gave the girl a smile before commenting about her laziness. Although she didn't want the girl to think she was getting ganged up on, because that wasn't the case.
“Yes, I’m well aware that it’s easier to just leave the body, but when you’ve got others tracking why the animals are all showing up dead, it’s easier to get rid of the body than to risk what it is that you are—“ She answered truthfully as she looked toward her husband, giving the man a wink. She also knew that getting rid of the body was not only easier but safer in the long run at least in theory.
When Amber mentioned their family, and how they were...she waited to hear what Jasper would say first. She didn't want to make this any more complicated than it already was. She knew that Jasper had been feeling as though everyone was picking on him and demanding him to make a decision, one that would affect them all in the long run. But Rosalie especially seemed to get on his nerves more often than not. “Jasper couldn’t have said it any better than that. Everyone’s good, you know. Carlisle and the others are all just busy these days. Just like Jasper and I—for the most part.” She replied, slightly amused by this whole conversation. She knew that to Jasper she was an open book, the way that he was for her. She couldn’t help but be reminded of how excited she was upon meeting Bella for the first time, and how fun those few weeks were. Of course most people wouldn’t like the idea of being teased, but being teased by two people—vampires at once, was a little overwhelming.
She couldn’t help but feel a little better when Jasper reached over and took her small hand into his big one. It was natural for the two of them to just hold hands—or at least be in close proximity to one another during times like this. But she didn’t want to make it all the more awkward for Amber. She didn’t want to have to explain any further about their family because well it was a sore subject for her husband and by all means she didn’t want to add fuel to the fire so to speak. She felt Jasper stroke her hand in a therapeutic motion, knowing it was relaxing for both of them. “It’s going to be alright, Jazz.” She said softly to her husband as she waited for Amber to say how her family was. "So Amber, tell me a little more about yourself. How many brothers do you have?" She asked, as she was a bit curious, after all she hadn't met too many of the shifters, due to the fact well she didn't go down to La Push due to the treaty being in place, nor had she seen them come to Forks.

Amber chuckled lightly as Jasper spoke about her being more careful,"Exactly, Jasper..." The 15 year old grinned wickedly at the male vampire before listening as Alice spoke up. " Oh now, I feel bad... Seth has spoke so highly of all you Cullens..." Amber mentally smacked herself as the words flew from her mouth. ' Really Ace! Well done!!' She scolded at herself inwardly before focusing on Alice's comment. She nodded in agreement. She wasn't often so careless with a animal, but she was always pestered by her brothers to bury the body. Her father had done the same, before he had passed on. She was also tired and hungry, having had a midnight run, but that was no excuse, was what her father would say.
" Yes, and with my luck, I'll have my brothers on my trail as well..." The 15 year old smiled brightly at the couple. Her eyes trailed to Jasper and Alice's intertwined hands. Her mind immediately went to Seth and she felt like weak without Seth there. Oh god, how she missed him... but she had to remain strong as much as she hated the feeling to be without her imprint. Feeling a sharp pain of sadness builting in her stomach, Amber looked up at Alice as she spoke about their family being busy as ever. The shape-shifter nodded; her brothers had also been busy over the past couple weeks. Her twin brother had told her, they were getting ready. For what, Nico was about as clueless as she was. She bit her lip as she heard Alice speak softly to Jasper before focusing on Alice's question.
" Well, There's not much to tell... My full name is Amber Savannah James Jackson, but almost everyone calls me Ace... I have 8 brothers, 4 older and 4 younger... I'm 15 years, and turning 16 on January 1st.... My parents are both dead; my mother in a car accident and my father by..." Amber's voice caught slightly as she thought about her father before forcing her lump down,"My father was killed by Vampires... My brothers and I live high in the Forks mountains, in a cabin just a few miles from the boundary of La Push..." Amber smiled as she finished introducing herself. She thought she had covered everything, except for her imprint with Seth, but she felt it best to leave that out for now. She smiled again at the pair of vampires, waiting to see their reaction to her introduction.

Jasper could sense Amber's envy at them holding hands and he could only assume that she had not seen Seth for a few days and was feeling a little lonely because he could sense that about her as well, hopefully he would head home and see her soon. At least Jasper knew not to mention him in conversation so as not to upset her, he would have to avoid that topic. "Knowing your brothers they will still be sleeping at this hour or looking for you" He joked watching Alice as she went on to ask Amber questions, he had been sure that Alice had hear about Amber she obviously had not spent enough time with Seth if she did not know anything about her. Jasper picked up on Alice comment about how it was going to be alright and nodded slowly, he hoped it would he just wanted this ball to be over already but even then he doubted Rosalie would forgive him, she was just so angry with him at the moment even Emmett could not do anything to get her to leave him alone, so it was obviously deep rooted anger.
As Amber went on to talk about her family he felt the sting as she spoke about her father being killed by a vampire and he slowly used his ability to help her conquer that pain, he liked being able to help people through this especially since Amber would view it as her own strength not knowing too much about his ability. Everything she said about herself and her family Jasper already knew and he nodded along slowly as she spoke, when she finished Jasper was not sure what to say she already knew all about him "Her brothers can be quite a handful and are not big fans of vampires, so watch out for them" he warned Alice the last thing he wanted was her running into them by accident he did not know her brothers particularly well but he did not want them to go near Alice in case they harmed her, he knew they still had not forgiven Vampires after what happened to their father.

She watched as the shifter grinned wickedly toward her husband, though she felt certain the shifter was no threat to him. “It’s okay, really. I prefer to get to know people first hand. Instead of learning about people through someone else.” She smiled softly toward Amber and watched as she nodded about the careless way Amber had left the animal’s corpse.”Well we can hope not, but even if they do get on your trail, I’m sure you could avoid them should you want to.” She could tell the uneasiness that Amber was feeling—mostly through her eyes, as it told the entire story.
She couldn’t even remember being fifteen, but then again she didn’t remember anything about her human life—only what she’s learned through her research. “Well you have a big family. I don’t remember much about my human life—but as far as my vampire one—my life with my family now, I’ve got Edward and Emmett as my brothers, Jasper as you know as my husband and then I have Bella and Rosalie as my sisters, and Renesmee as my niece, and my parents are Carlisle and Esme. But I’m sure you know all of that after meeting my husband. I’m also technically over a hundred years old. But I am sorry to hear about your parents....it’s hard to imagine losing your mom in a car crash or your dad by a vampire. Which is understandable why you might not trust vampires—or that your siblings might not. I wouldn’t blame them either. That’s interesting, to live in the mountains, I bet you get a lot of beautiful scenery to look at. But—my family pose no threat to you, or any shifter for that matter. We don’t hurt people, we aim to help.” She kept a hold of Jasper's hand.
She watched as her husband continued to joke with Amber. It was nice to hear him have a good time. She hadn’t spent much time around the shifters lately, especially Seth. She had more things to worry about—like the upcoming ball. It made her nervous. She was nervous because their sister had a temper and right now it was aimed at Jasper, and she didn’t know if or when Rosalie would forgive Jasper, not that he had done anything wrong, but Rosalie didn’t agree with what he was doing. And since Emmett of course could not change Rosalie’s mind, it made things a lot more complicated, to where both she and Jasper wanted to avoid it. She smiled as she knew her husband was able to help people without them necessarily realizing it due to his gift. “I’m not worried, Jazz. Sure they might have a dislike for vampires, who wouldn’t after what happened to their dad, but I can take care of myself. All you have to do is show them that we’re not the same kind of vampires that attacked an innocent man like their dad.” She said as she knew that it would take more than time to convince them that they weren’t the kind to be a threat to them. She couldn’t expect them to forgive the ones who had killed their dad, because if the situation were reversed she was pretty sure she would feel the same way as they did.

Amber nodded in agreement to Alice's comment about learning about someone from the person themselves, not through others. Ace chuckled lightly, nodding her head at Alice's comment about avoiding her brothers. She did avoid her brothers, more then she should. She had gotten very good at slipping out of the cabin unnoticed, although it wasn't very hard, considering a tornado could fly by the house and her brothers would still be asleep.
Amber smiled listening to Alice speak of her own family, " It's quite alright... I don't remember my mom as much as my oldest brother's do... It's harder on them, then on me... " Ace nodded in agreement,"Considering how much Seth has told me about vampires, I'm not as worried about vampires as my brothers, although they would flip out on me..." The 15 year old smiled, feeling a strange calmness rushing over her; She relaxed her posture slightly, feeling better about talking about her parents.. She had a hard time talking to her brothers, seeing as they didn't understand her as much as the 15 year old had hoped,"Yes, Seth told me you are veggie vampires, meaning you bite animals instead of humans..." Amber smiled. Seth had pretty much explained everything to Amber about the shape-shifters and vampires in the area. "Yes, it's quite beautiful... My brothers and I often race each other to the top of the mountains... I always win... well, unless my second oldest brother is in a good mood..." In her pack, Amber was the close second, next to her older brother, Luke. She hated that he was faster then her and was always determined to beat him.
Amber nodded,"I have tried to get them to see that vampire's aren't as bad as they think... but, my brothers are firm... I'm sure you can take them on, Alice but I agree with Jasper, My brothers, excluding my twin, are set in their ways... it's quite unfortunate..." Amber knew her brothers and if they found out she was chatting to vampires, they would not be pleased in any way. Amber winced slightly at the memory of her last mess-up; that one was a messy one.. Pushing the thought away, Amber smiled brightly at the vampire couple. She herself, enjoyed the company of the vampires as much as she had wished it was Seth.

Jasper remained quiet as the two of them talked, listening as they spoke about their family and about the view from their homes, it always surprised Jasper how quickly to females could get along they always found something to talk about or some sort of common ground to go from. Alice was exceptionally good at making friends this he knew no matter whether they were humans, vampires or shifters even if it frustrated her that she could not see their future or that it ruined her sight of others, it actually made him smile when this happened though he hated to see his wife upset, it did give her experience of what it was like to be the rest of the world. He nodded when Amber mentioned them being vegetarian vampires "Yeah it's difficult, but it's better than the alternative" Which was true their family were predominantly pacifists and did not want to hurt other unnecessarily.
Amber agreed with him at the mention of her brothers and Alice saying she could take care of herself he rolled his eyes at his wife "I know you can, but be careful you worry about me it's only fair I get to worry about you" He teased her, the two of them did worry about each other way to much in fact an unhealthy amount for any other couple but their relationship was different to others. "We should also mention it to Carlisle so that he is aware" jasper knew Carlisle would be interested in the presence of another wolf pack in the area and it would be good to make him aware so that he could keep Emmett from walking into them and possibly starting a fight. "I'm sure they will accept that we are no threat soon amber, don't worry people take different amounts of time to heal, just give them time" he smiled comfortingly at her hoping that he was correct it would be good to be on the same side as these werewolves.

She couldn’t help but smile at the scenario in front of her. There were very few things she would love to be doing. Meeting people was always fun for her. She knew that anything was possible at the moment. “Still, it’s got to be hard....even if you don’t remember much. I don’t remember much about my human family....granted by now they’re all dead. Carlisle and his wife Esme, adopted me when I found them quite a bit of time ago. Though I have to admit, I was glad I had Jasper by my side, I would be incomplete without him.” She said as she held onto her husband’s hand. “Seth has been the one that aside from Jacob has been the most welcoming of us, in Forks, given well our treaty being what it was, was broken to a certain extent when Bella joined our family. The rest of his pack tolerates us for the sake of the treaty, I think. I’m sure they would flip out on you—finding you here talking to a couple of vegetarian vampires...I’m sure they’d think the worst that we were out to kill you.” She said honestly. She smiled at Amber before looking at her husband again.
“Hunting humans...just the thought of it makes me want to cringe. I could never hurt another person, to kill them or hurt them in a way where I would drain their blood. That’s just—I can’t do it. I wouldn’t. Although sometimes it is a struggle—especially when there’s a lot of blood—I can tolerate it for the most part, thanks to Carlisle.” She couldn’t help but grin when she heard of the pack racing up the mountain. “That has to be alot of fun. I take it you’re close with your brothers?” She asked the young fifteen year old. “Well some vampires are as dangerous as your brothers think, but those like my husband, and our family, are not....it’s a belief that takes time to grasp. Because when people—are set in their ways it’s hard to change one’s belief.” She told Amber as she looked at the young girl.
She knew that anything was possible, and that she was able to make friends quickly—that being females, she and Amber could easily talk about anything. Whether it be family, friends—common beliefs, anything really. She had always been able to make friends—no matter if they were human or not. It was always difficult when her visions were limited when she was around shifters though—and halfbreeds like her niece, because she couldn’t see their future...and it was frustrating. Even if Jasper had told her that it made her have an even playing field like everyone else did.
That she didn’t have the advantage that she was known to have, and that was frustrating. She also knew that it brought a smile to Jasper’s face when she was unable to see something...and it was hard to just be happy about that. When her husband said how difficult it was, she squeezed his hand, as she knew he was talking about his own personal experiance.
“I know....and aren’t I usually careful? I worry about you because you’re my husband and I love you. And you’re putting yourself in a situation that can be a bit difficult. It might be unhealthy how much we worry about eachother but that’s just how we are—Jasper.” She could only nod when he mentioned to tell Carlisle. “I think that would be wise. I just hope we don’t need to make another treaty like the last time....because you and I both know how difficult that was to keep. And not only that we wouldn’t want to risk our family members—like Edward or Emmett especially—to start a fight with one of them unintentionally. Emmett already wants to start a fight with the Quileutes, at least that’s the feeling I get from him.” She sighed as she looked at her husband. “If they have any trouble accepting us for who we are, we can handle it. We’ll show them the truth, that just because we’re vampires doesn’t mean we’re out to hurt people. But because of what they’re feeling—due to what happened to your dad—it’ll be best to give them some time—to heal themselves—and to accept what happened—only then will they be able to open their eyes to see that not all vampires are that bad—or dangerous.” She said, continuing on with the point that Jasper made.

Ace watched the pair of vampires closely. Before she met Seth, Amber never believed in love, probably would have dismissed it as just something a pairing. And then she met Seth and everything changed. She mentally rolled her eyes at how cheesy that sounded. 'Thank goodness, I didn't say it out loud...' The 15 year old smirked gently before listening as Alice spoke about being adopted. She never was adopted, but she understood how Alice felt. Even with her own brothers, Ace felt left out at times. She was always the odd one out... The guys were always worried about her and could never think of her as 'just one of the guys'. It drove the 15 year old to the brink of insanity. Amber chuckles lightly as Alice speaks about Seth being the only other one, who was very welcoming. Seth was like that with pretty much everyone. He was so happy-go-lucky, he always put her in a good mood, even when she was pissed with her brothers, Seth always managed to make her laugh.he could do what Amber's brothers couldn't; Amber had a bit of a temper, and having grown up around boys, Amber's temper was one thing to be feared. "Yeah, My brothers are defiently not the easiest guys to be around..." The 15 year old spoke up, "They're pretty good, once you get to know them, but they have a hard time with change... Having lived up in the mountains for my whole life, I never really came into the valley until I was 10, 11 even... I didn't know about vampires until my dad was killed by one.... I always thought we were invincible..." Ace snorted,"I was such a child back then..."
Amber was quite impressed when Alice spoke about not beng able to drink humans. When Amber was little, she was always taught that vampires would kill anything and everything. After seeing her dad die right before her eyes, Amber's mind was always etched with that painful memory. It was one of the reasons she was so causious of strangers. Running her hand through her hair, Amber sighed gently, smiling at the pair. "That's really cool, Alice... I was always taught that vampires were to be feared...." She nodded at Alice's comment about being close to her brothers"We are quite close... Although we have our disagreements, We're closer then most siblings..." Amber had often been told she was lucky to have sibling like her brothers. Each looks out for another, no matter the age. "Yes, I've heard that from my brothers..." Her brothers never forgave what happened to their dad. The one thing that bothered Ace about her brothers was they could hold grudges for many years. Heck, they were still holding a grudge against the car that smashed into their mom's, killing her.
Seeing as her father used to never let her out of the house long enough to go for a quick walk, Amber never had many friends. She picked up how to speak and hold a conversation by listening to her brothers and learning from her dad. She never had many friends, who were girls. There were only her brothers to keep her company, so she often got along better with boys then girls.
Amber nodded, agreeing with what Alice spoke about. She knew her brothers and knew how they would react if they found out there were vegetarian vampires and two other shifter packs. They would probably not even let Amber out of the house. A small pain in her stomach twisted as she thought about how that would be like. Never being outside, never seeing any friends, no more Seth. She couldn't have that.

Jasper still chose to remain silent as the two girls spoke about family and hunting, he was happy standing silently next to them smirking occasionally at a comment made by Alice especially when she talked about hunting humans. Everyone else seemed to have grown to think how could they hunt humans now, but Jasper knew himself it would not take much for him to sink back into hunting humans. It was a natural instinct that everyone else seemed to have so much ease in suppressing in comparison to him, everyone else found it easy to just walk past them in the corridors of High School without desperately wanting to bite their head off. Jasper pulled himself out of his deep thoughts to listen as Amber spoke about being close with her brothers and Alice spoke about their family and their relationships with other shifters.
"I think Emmett or Rosalie are the main worries, they can be a little quick to judge people and a little hot headed at times" Jasper explained at Amber as Alice spoke about their siblings, "But don't worry we won't let them do anything that might endanger your family" He hoped that Alice's talking about their hot headed family members were not worrying her, even though he could not sense any of her doubts or worries he thought it would be best to set any hidden doubts at ease just in case. "As far as we are aware there are no other vampires in the area you have to worry about, we have friends that may come through from time to time, but if that happens we will warn you" Jasper thought it was best to say this after alice spoke about them being unlike other vampires and he could sense Amber's emotions towards her brothers, maybe this information would set her at ease. Occasionally other vampires strayed onto these lands, but Carlisle was quick to explain their agreement with the wolves and that they should be cautious with their hunting and this usually caused the vampires to move on a little quicker. There would be no threat to Amber's family whilst Carlisle was around, hopefully her family would relax to them one day it would be good he knew not to have to worry about Emmett causing hell every time he went into the forest.

The vampire smiled softly at the fifteen year old. She kept thinking of how much had truly changed in the time that they had been back here. She would have to avoid Amber’s brothers if they truly had it in them to kill first before asking questions. She smiled warmly as she knew that everything happened for a reason. She had never really known love before she met Jasper, a man whom she had loved with every fiber of her existance. Someone with whom she could share anything with. Jasper had been her reason for her existance. She had not been complete without him and he knew it, she told him often. It hadn’t mattered that her family weren’t biologically related to her, she loved them all the same. Seth was a good guy, she knew that for a fact, even if he smelled like a wet dog! “Well I can relate having siblings that aren’t the easiest to be around, my sister Rosalie and my brother Edward are the most difficult, followed by Emmett. But I love them nevertheless. Change is good, you know, it’s difficult yes but it can be good for everyone. No matter if you’re human, vampire or shifter. I don’t remember much about my human life—because when I was turned into a vampire, I lost all memory of it. After research I found out a little more.” She said as she turned her eyes to Jasper. “No one is invincible, Amber. Yes, I mean as vampires we’re hard to kill but it’s not impossible.” She said shifting her eyes from her husband to take a look at Amber.
“Fear, can be a bit debilitating if you ask me. We’re not ones to be feared. We might struggle with the blood lust from time to time, but for the most part we’re good-hearted people. Just like anyone else. Blood is of course a weakness. My siblings and I—are quite close, we do everything we can for eachother. Even if we do have competitions between us. Especially when it comes to the men in our family—everything is like a game to them. Not all vampires are the same, some of us have unique gifts that aid us through our existance....” She replied softly as she watched the young woman in front of her.
She was grateful that Jasper was right there with her. It felt comfortable with or without him being right there, but she was happy he was there with her. It meant she didn’t have to worry about him, just the others. Seeing the future could have it’s limitations of course, but that was because they were around a shifter at the moment. She was no fool, as she knew some shifters were hard headed and protective, which seemed to be the case with Amber’s brothers and she was prepared for a run in with them should the time come.
Of course not everyone had the resiliance to avoid the humans when blood happened...to enter the picture. But she was able to surpress it easily enough, though there were times where she had to leave the room due to the amount of blood that was coming into sight. She could not hunt humans, it wasn’t in her nature. She helped people, not hurt them. Although she knew that Jasper would have a harder time with that then most would. He wasn’t exactly a newborn but he still had a difficulty to surpress the instinct to hunt humans, to drink from them. It was why he looked like he was in pain when they were walking around the highschool. It was why she stood by her husband’s side often.
“Yes, Jasper they would be but we’ve all been through this before. I think we can make sure that Emmett and Rosalie stay away from them if necessary. Doubt they’d want to be in the same room with them for long, at least I know Rosalie wouldn’t. Emmett, well you know he is always looking for a fight.” She told her husband and gave him a smile. “Amber you have nothing to fear, nor does your family. Any friend of ours is safe....as is the family of that person.” She replied honestly. Hell Bella had survived being around Rosalie and Emmett, so she was sure Amber and her family could too. “Jazz is right though, as far as we’re aware, there are no other vampire families around here, except for us. Although we do have friends that come by from time to time, but they’re like us, they are vegetarian. Though we’d be the first to tell you if we thought you were in any kind of danger. Just like we’d warn the Quiluetes. Since we have a treaty with them, and so it’s easier if we rely information to them rather than them getting it from a second hand, if you can understand that. Carlisle can explain everything to your brothers—though whomever is your pack’s Alpha would have more of a reason to discuss things with Carlisle as he’s the Alpha, so to speak, of our family. He’s the one that the Quileute alpha deals with directly due to the treaty.” She kept close to Jasper as she said it thinking how difficult Sam was, and how hardheaded he could be—how he wanted a war with them. She only hoped Emmett wouldn’t start something before Carlisle would have a chance to speak to Amber’s pack, and explain things firsthand.
