She chuckled lightly as she heard him joke about getting someone medical help. She smirked when she recalled the memory. It felt as though it had just happened. “Actually I’ve done it. I’ve helped get someone who was bleeding to the hospital without wanting to drain them dry. Of course once I got there, even I had to keep my restraint in check. But I did stay around until I was informed he was alright.” A small smile appeared on her face when she thought of the man she had helped. Carlisle had even said she had great resistant. Soon enough the night would be over and they would both have to make their departure before sunrise.
Before it was too late and they were exposed. She had enjoyed this conversation despite how it had started. She wasn’t sure how her family would view Aver but she hoped that they would not view him as an enemy as they had enough of those as it were anyway. They just would have to get to know him in order to know for sure how they would react. It wouldn’t be the first time any of them had come across a newborn before. Especially her parents, they were the most welcoming and loving people, that she could ever imagine.
“Well either way a change of venue would be needed.” A soft chuckle escaped her lips. The funny thing was that after all this time she did not need to effectively stop “breathing” in order to avoid the smell in the room. “You may be a newborn but I do know enough to protect myself....you haven’t seen me at my best after all. And I won’t beat you. I’m thinking somewhere out in the open. Where we won’t be surrounded by humans.” She grinned as she thought of the first place that came to mind. The meadow, her meadow. The one that Edward had taken her to, and that she had been proposed to at. It was certainly big enough to practice anything, where it would be a duel or even to practice. “But I don’t cry....about anything.” A soft grin appeared as she looked around the room. Oh so many memories could be found here. She had been her often when she was a teenager back before Edward had come swooping into her life and had created their timeless romance. It was certainly poetic to say the least. “Besides after living with my family I’m used to any kind of tactics a newborn could throw at me.”
She ran a hand through her hair as she spoke, keeping her eyes locked on him. She wasn’t letting him out of her line of vision because newborns could be tricky. It was one thing that Jasper had taught her. Something she had never once forgotten. “It’s a good thing that Alice can forsee where I’m going in case there’s any kind of problem. But I hope it doesn’t come to that. I don’t think it would....still Edward would have a field day if I fought against a newborn on my own. He’s so overprotective.” She thought as she looked at Aver. So many things had changed and she was looking forward to whatever could happen next. She wasn’t going to walk away from a possible new friend.
She was alot like her mother, and sister Alice. She would do anything to help others, even at the cost of her own life. But she knew enough to know that if something happened to her that her daughter and her husband would never forgive themselves. Even though neither would be to blame for it. She had promised her husband that she would forever be careful. Not to put herself in harm’s way, but she did not view what she and Aver were talking about to be breaking such a promise. Something she would make sure of.

Aver jaw slacked as he just heard that she had been in a similar situation. Aver closed his mouth and regain his composure. Newborn emotions can be strong and right now the strongest emotion was awe. "You Cullens are amazing!"said Aver with a smile using the last of his breath. The smell of the room and his growing thirst was making it hard for Aver to concentrate. Bella chuckled as she said a change of venue was need. "I agree."said Aver trying to focus. "Do you have a place in mind because I need to get out of here." said Aver frantically. Bella seemed to think she could beat him and Aver chuckled. Not because he though she could never win. In a vampire fight she could win easily. But this was boxing. Organized, rules and honor bound, and most of all he use to box when he was human and he remember it all.
Then Bella said she do not cry ever.Aver shrugged his shoulder sand said: "Yea,Yea if we'll see."he said jokingly. Aver pretended to shiver from fear. Even though he was being tortured with the smells he was able to keep composed. Aver was proud of his new semi tolerance, but did not want to test it further. Bella then said she was use to any tactic a new born could use. He shrugged and gave her that one. he would just have to do the opposite of what newborns do. "Lead the way and lets see whatcha got" said Aver with a smirk.

She couldn’t help but watch as he dropped his jaw which only caused her to chuckle slightly. “Well I don’t know about amazing but we’re pretty good at what we do.” She grinned as she looked at Aver before looking around the room. Even with all the restraint she had, she was starting to lose focus and that was making things highly difficult. She tried to keep her focus in check as she looked at Aver before nodding once. “I have just the place. Follow me.” She said as she heard him chuckle. She was sure he was probably laughing at how she said she could beat him, but she wasn’t sure. Still she had tactics that he did not have she was sure. After all she had lived a lot longer. Plus being around Emmett and Jasper and Edward, for as long as she had, she had been able to come up with moves that they themselves hadn’t seen coming, even with all of their years of experiance before them. It made her grin just thinking of the thought. She did enjoy arm wrestling with Emmett especially.
Her golden eyes danced as she thought of how things had gone tonight. She would be sure to mention this to Carlisle and the others as soon as she saw them. Better safe than sorry but she was sure that Alice would see the vision and then Edward could read her mind and find out the information with ease so it wasn’t a problem if she got into any kind of danger. Plus she could take care of herself. She knew that it would be alright. Soon enough she found herself exiting the library and looking back to look at Aver. “Alright, follow me.” She told him and soon after a quick walk...she found herself standing at the entrance to the meadow. She had not used her full speed due to the fact that there was still a chance to be seen even if it wasn’t light out. The meadow and it’s alluring presence was something that she had not forgotten. It was where Edward had brought her when she was still human. The place hadn’t changed all that much, despite it’s surpassing beauty.
Even though it had been over fifty years since she was first brought here, she knew that it held a place in her unbeating heart. Besides it was where she and Edward would spend their time alone when they couldn’t exactly spend it at their homes prior to their wedding. Despite how much time had passed, it still did not seem like it really had when one considered that she still looked to be eighteen years old.

Bella talked about how the Cullens were good at what they did he was still amazed however. Bella said to follow her as they walked at a human pace just in case they were spotted. This was very boring for Aver but he put up with it. Av was so use to zooming around that walking like this took all his willpower. Finally after walking through the forest they entered a meadow. It was a beautiful place filled with the smell of wild mint, grass, flowers and sunshine.
Aver mouth open in awe and he remembered what he was here for. stretching himself although not needed he made a show of it letting Bella know that he was ready. He shadowed box a bit as his fist punched air at blinding speeds. "So lets get started shall we." said Aver. Av held back as much as possible as he knocked on a tree mocking the starting bell. "Lets see what you got." said Aver as he came in close and slid to Bella side as he tried to land a punch. It was Aver first real vamp vs vamp fight and as he did know how to fight like a vamp he fought using human styles. Instinct told him to gaurd his neck though he did not know why. He gaurded it anyhow and smirked as he tried a jab.

It had felt like an eternity walking as slowly as the humans did. When they had finally reached the meadow she was equally ready for it. The Meadow had not changed a bit. Though this place was brilliant in a lot of ways. Everything about this place was home. This was hers and Edward’s place. It was a place where she felt safe, when Edward was not with her. She stretched as quickly as possible which didn’t take but a few minutes to complete. Soon enough she was prepared for anything and everything. And that was saying something alright.
She had mimicked his moves to show she too was ready for it. Even at blinding speeds he was fast, but she was faster. When Aver got close to her and was about to hit her, she jumped up and did a back flip. She rarely got too close to her enemies. Unless she had to. This was an option of course that she had. She had never really gotten into a physical confrontation with another vampire before. Mostly she was able to shield herself from at least any mental attacks but she had to be focused in order to do that. Still she would never go for the obvious kill, as that was what newborns no matter how new they were, anticipated you to go for and you would lose. That was what Jasper had said, but as she made her move she got close to him and jumped up, disappearing into the trees and waited for a few minutes before coming back down and landing right on his back wrapping her hands around his neck as though she was attempting to decapitate him but she was showing him one valuable lesson. Of course after a few seconds, since she did not have the strongest of grips on him at the moment which was why she let go and when she did, her feet kicked his back and she did a flip to avoid hitting a tree. After all she was not going to be taken by surprise.
Surprises were what got those like herself killed. Most of the moves she had learned from her sister, Alice, and from Edward. She had had to learn how to defend herself as a vampire which wasn’t overly difficult to do. After all she couldn’t just dive in head first. Once she was separated enough from him she anticipated his next move. She had never been in a situation where she had to essentially fight a newborn in a way of training like she was doing today. It was sort of difficult, as if she died, she knew her family would attempt to find out who did it, and if it came out that Aver was responsible, well she was sure they would kill him. But she knew she didn’t have to worry about that. Her eyes were never taken off of Aver.
Because once someone let their guard down, that was when their enemies had the best shot to kill them. Never go for the obvious kill. That was what Jasper had taught her. Something she had never once forgotten. She was not going to give him everything she had of course, as she wanted to keep some of her tricks still hidden.

Aver hit did not land Bella backed flipped the went into the trees he was about to give chase when she was on his shoulder and wrapped her hands around his neck as if to tell him that she could easily pop his head off. Aver whistled in astonishment. "You are quite dangerous but you have'nt seen my best yet."said Aver with a smirk. Bella kicked his mid back sending him into the trees. Aver went into a push up position and placed his legs on a boulder. He built up pressure against the rock as it started to erode.
Like a bullet from a gun he shot out aiming at Bella he changed position and grabbed a branch swinging on it he let go and aimed at her back to be careful he quickly grabbed a branch and went almost over the canopy as he planned to land on her shoulders and mock her attack. "Tag!" Av said with a laugh. This is the most fun he had in a while. He was truely happy.

The truth was she didn’t immediately know what to think of Aver. He seemed friendly enough, which was a good start. Maybe they could become allies...friends if everything worked out the way it was supposed to. Which there was no reason for it not to. She had always believed that everything happened the way it was supposed to. Sometimes by her own choices and sometimes it was predestined. Like her and Edward being together. It might not have made the most sense but it was something she could not avoid. No matter how hard she tried.
Clearing her thoughts she wondered what should be the first move she should make. There were far too many to choose from. Since it was obvious that the two of them were going to be going head to head for quite some time. Time slipped slowly by her as she prepared herself for whatever it was that Aver was going to throw at her next. Chances were that his next move would be enough to either make her regret her attacks or to actually kill her. It was almost impossible to kill a vampire like herself though there were certainly ways of doing so.
She couldn’t help but chuckle as she looked at where Aver was now standing and where she was. Her instincts had never let her down before and she doubted they would any time soon. “Nor have you seen me at my best, either, Aver.” She replied with a smirk as she had not underestimated what Aver could do. She grinned as she sensed him with that branch. She jumped up and when she did she knew she was in trouble. Trouble was the very thing she had to avoid if she could.
Especially since it was one of those circumstances that could very well be problematic. Being a parent meant she had to do whatever it took to stay alive, if that was what she was, if not for her own sake but for her daughter’s. And Edward’s. As she knew what their lives could be like without her. And hers without them. She thought of how to make things work better.
Being a vampire she didn’t have to think about what her path might be. She had been on it for years. And it had always led her in the right direction. Being both a wife and a mother, she knew exactly what she was getting herself into. As charming as it was....sometimes being married did have it’s complications. Especially given her best friend hated her husband. Not that she could blame him after all her husband didn’t exactly like him either...with good reason.
She managed to do a back flip after jumping up, but she knew that if she did not keep eyes on Aver that she would have a problem. Especially if this was a real battle. Jasper always said that it was safer not to let your enemies, especially newborns get the upper hand as once they did, well it was usually too late by then. Facing Aver now she knew that she had to do something, anything that might show that she was not about to back down from a fight. No matter if it was just a training session. She had faced both shifters and vampires themselves so she knew she was more than capable of taking care of herself. Smirking she looked at Aver as she anticipated his next move. Which without Edward's ability or Alice's she had to rely on her instincts. Her natural instincts.
