so you want to be a Volturi guard?

this process is for original characters only. canon volturi members will, naturally, not have to apply to be in the Volturi, nor will any original characters already part of the Volturi predating this process. please visit this page for the Volturi canon list. the fourteen remaining unnamed members of the Volturi are considered non-canon in this instance and must be applied for using the form on this page.

As we all know, the Volturi coven is the current ruling coven of vampires, and is the largest and most powerful to date. They depend on their many gifted vampires to defend themselves as well as to uphold their authority and keep the other covens in line. Though there is must controversy in the smaller covens about the use of Chelsea's gift (although many are unaware of it), there are still some vampires with gifts who seek out the Volturi willingly, though many are instead sought out by Aro or by elite guards.

That being said, there are some vampires within the guard without gifts (for example, Felix and Santiago), though these vampires are generally physically powerful or useful in other ways, and are constantly aware that they could easily be replaced.

Volturi Application

Name: The name of the vampire you want in the Volturi.
Age: Physical and mental age.
Reasons: Why should your character be in the Volturi? I need at least three good reasons, with explanations.
Power: What's your vampire's power? Make sure you check out the power list, which details banned powers and which powers are already taken. Gifts more powerful than Alec or Benjamin's power are not allowed, as these are canonically the most advanced powers in the series. Furthermore, please detail how your vampire's power would be of use to the volturi. Reminder that your vampire doesn't have to be superman to be useful. Sometimes small powers are more useful than large ones.
