[Jane ! ?]

first off we want to welcome you all to Forever Young. while you are here there are rules you must follow and if, for some reason, you decide not to, you will be punished. the first time you break a rule you will receive a warning, the second time your warning level will go up by fifty percent, and the third time you will be banned. to find the secret word you will need to read all of the rules and not just skim them either. these rules are subject to change and if they are all members will be notified by a mass message.

activity/inactivity

this site will hold monthly activity checks, which you will have one week to reply to.

when you first sign up you have one week to post your application before you account is removed from this site. your application must be completed three days after posting it. the character's full name should be in the subject line (ex. First Middle--if a middle name applies--Last). after being accepted, please fill out the required extras when you next log on. as for the canon characters, the humans are all oc's so PM Admin Jane before you make the application for minor details for the characters.

out of character

• no racism; you will receive an automatic ban.
  
• don't argue with staff; their decision is final.
  
• don't advertise anywhere outside the advertising board. this includes via private messages and the chat box.
  
• please don't post in the "in character boards" until you have been accepted.
  
• during role play threads keep ooc chat to a minimum.
  
• if you are going to be away for more than three days or plan to leave us please post in the absences board.
  
• you may have as many characters as you can keep up with.
  
• when you sign up you may have whatever name you like, but once you post your application please change your display name to your character's name, all lower case.
  
• it is preferred is heavily portrayed canons (ie the Cullens, or Volturi members such as Aro, Marcus and Caius) retained their original faceclaims. if you really cannot do that, PM admin Chey, and we'll work something out
  

in character

• for every three female characters made, you must make a male character next
  
• no one liners please. it's annoying if you spend ages on your post only to get one line back
  
• all posts must be at least two paragraphs, with at least five sentences. this gives more words for people to go off of and creates a more interesting post.
  
• sex will not be allowed on here. obviously.
  
• swearing is allowed on here but don't overuse it. there are some people who don't like it. do not direct swearing at another member.
  
• no god modding or power playing, which means do not control someone else's character or make them super mega powerful.
  
• no gary or mary stu's. not everyone is perfect; we all have our flaws and so do your characters.
  
• if you wish to seriously injure, kill or make another character pregnant you must okay it with the admin and all members involved.
  
• post in third person please. (he/she/them instead of i/me/us)
  
• please make your speech stand out whither its in colour or bold we don't mind.
  
• please spell check! it can sometimes be really hard to read misspelled words.
  
• no hybrid characters of any kind. at all.
  
• female shifters must be kept to a minimum. admins will be monitoring this closely and if we see too many we will put bans on them. (secret word: musical)
  
• if your character owns a shop or a place that could be a board, PM one of your admins.
  
• there are now rules and guidelines concerning which powers someone may or may not have. please visit the gift claim and the power discussion board for more information.
  
• there is a temporary ban on ancient oc vampires. because of this, no oc vampires older than 800 are currently allowed, until the numbers balance out (as there are many ancient canons in play right now). if you really need to have an oc older than that, please PM admin Chey with your reasons. please be aware that, if you're given permission, attention to historical detail must be paid. members who already have an ancient oc will not be permitted to have another under any circumstances until the ban is lifted. thank you.

• your must have a celebrity (or a known individual, not some random person on myspace) as your face claim.
  
• avatars size is 100x100
  
• do not stretch the board with your signatures. a width restriction of around 400 is recommended.

• no advertising. including in your name.
  
• no spamming.
  
• don't argue with other members please.
  
  specifically for the in character chat box, the above and below rules apply. the ic chat box is located at the bottom of the home page.
  
  
• post in character
  
• when you enter the conversation, your character has no idea what was being talked about before you entered the conversation, except maybe the last post or so.
  
• i believe that's all. check regularly for updates as you will not be notified of them through mass messages.
