Leah Samantha Clearwater stood on the steps to the Black's Residence. Running a tanned hand through her black hair, Leah shifted slightly. She hated being in her human form, but for now, it would have to do. She had to talk to Jacob. Why? She growled, thinking back to this morning. She had spotted a couple of wolfs just outside of LaPush, which was normal, but something was off: She didn't know them. The wolfs she had seen were not normal wolfs. They were, well like them. The pack. She knocked on the door and waited. Her body twitched as she waited. Leah was a bit edgy, being in her human form, but there was nothing she could do about it. Jake needed to know, one way or another.

"Leah..." The 19 year old snapped her head up and came face to face with Renesmee,"Jacob didn't tell me you were stopping by today..." Leah grimanced slightly before sharply speaking.
"I came to talk to Jacob about something, do you know where he is?" Leah's sharp voice asked her leader's imprintee. It wasn't Leah disliked Renesmee, it was more she disliked the girl's mother: Bella or Vampire girl. Leah set her jaw sternly, showing her expressionless mask. She did not like showing her emotions to anyone. The only one who had ever seen emotion was her little brother and Jacob.

Leah listened before hesiating slightly. Should she go inside? She wanted to try to be nicer but she always had a hard time with it. With a deep breath, Leah spoke.
" Thank you, Renesmee, I could use a drink of water..." Leah tried to bring her voice a little softer and it came out ok. It felt funny, but she had to try. She didn't want to be disliked by people, but she had a hard time with that.

The 19 year old obeyed the somewhat younger girl, closing the door behind her. Being barefoot, Leah just wiped her feet off before following Renesmee. The girl watched as the younger girl traveled around the kitchen. "Thank you..." Leah let a brief smile travel to Renesmee before taking a quick sip from the now full glass.
Water queched the older girls throat, which had been dry from running and the fact she was inside Jacob's house without the leader. The girl fingered her glass before jerking her head upright as Renesmee asked if they could talk. Leah tried not to let her confusion show as the 19 year old nodded,"Sure... What about? Leah took a another sip before waiting as she studied the half-blood in front of her.

Leah smiled slightly at that offer but shook her head,"I'm fine at the moment but thank you..." The 19 year old was trying so hard to be nice to the younger girl and so far success.
To say the least, Leah was a bit taken back at Renesmee's assumption. It was like the boys open dislike to her all over again. With a soft smile, Leah spoke," I do not hate you, Renesmee, I do admit I have an dislike to your mother but I do not dislike you in general. Being vampire, We are enemies, although you are part human..." Leah took a breath before continuing," I'm sorry if you felt that way and I agree... I guess I could consider you family, because of your imprint." Leah smiled again at Renesmee.

"I understand, Renesmee, and I'm sorry about that..." Leah smiled lightly at the younger girl,"I guess you could say I am protective, but I guess I am also jealous... You get along with pretty much everyone." Leah shrugged. Renesmee got along with everyone and everyone hated Leah. The younger girl always seemed to be the baby, everyone loved her... And Leah, well she was like the plague. In the pack, she was often disliked because of her attitiude and behavior.

With a small groan, Jake pulled himself out from underneath his car before picking up his phone. He had a text from Renesmee. He scanned the text and nearly dropped his phone, seeing the last part of the text. Leah...'A hundred thoughts flashed into his mind before he read the rest of the text. His brow furrowed as Renesmee had written Leah needed to talk to him. He wondered.... Giving his head a quick shake, he texted Renesmee back, saying he would be home any moment and just for Leah to wait. He wiped the sweat from his forehead before pulling on his dark-t-shirt. He ran a hand through his damp short cropped black hair before heading out of the garage. He flicked off the lights and pulled down the garage door, not wanting anyone to get inside. With a low growl, Jake shifted. He shook his large dark head before taking off at a run, heading home. As he approached the house, Jake wondered about what Leah needed to speak about. So far, the pack had been fine. Seth had been a little depressed, but that was about it. He felt bad for the younger boy. Seth was like his little brother. Jake enjoyed Seth's company as much as the younger boy annoyed him. He continued to ponder on different thoughts before he slid to a stop, noticing he was a little close to the front porch. His face nearly came into contact with the steps, if he hadn't stopped.
