Amber Savannah James Jackson padded up the mountain path towards where her family cabin was. She had been out hunting (and visiting her imprint) and was now heading home. The light brown wolf cracked a smile and sighed lightly, thinking about her imprint. The pair had been seeing each other for the past couple weeks, in secret. She shifted back into human as she neared the porch and climbed up the steps before opening the door.
"I'm home!" Amber called out, letting her voice echo through the cabin. Her twin brother was laying on the couch, snoring lightly. Amber rolled her eyes before walking over and shoving him off the couch. "OWW!!!" Nico whined as he rubbed his head, glaring at Ace as the girl smirked lightly, flipping onto the couch. The older boy growled before glaring at his sister.
"I hate you.." Amber chuckled lightly before sticking her tongue out at her twin brother.

Lucas heard a rustling of the leaves as he was running in the woods as his wolf form and he stopped. He growled at the unseen but not heard force. He was crouched down ready to pounce but it was only another animal and Lucas turned around and started running dropping his feet as the padded the ground. He had the feeling that he was close to his cabin. Lucas saw his cabin and shook and he then shifted. He walked behind the cabin close to his bedroom and he saw that the window was still open. He then crawled into the bedroom and he walked out of the bedroom and he heard Nico and Amber tusling and talking. He said to them” Watch it you two. Nico don’t hurt your sister and Amber watch out next time or I will let him at you .So Amber how was your run?” he knew that she had been running . he then went to the kitchen and poured himself some milk. He then walked into the living room and sat down in a chair looking at his siblings.

As Luke walked in, Amber grinned as he scolded at Nico. Her twin brother growled, crossing his arms over his chest. Amber rolled her eyes at her brother. "Idiot..." "Hey!!!!" Amber grinned innocently at her twin before answering Luke's question,"It was great... Almost beat your record!" Ace grinned wickedly. She had been trying to beat Luke for years and finally either she was speeding up or Luke's slowing down. Either way, she was getting faster.
"What about you, Luke? What have you been up to?" Amber jumped up from the couch, glaring as Nico bolted onto the couch, grinning. The 15 year old sighed and headed into the kitchen. Grabbing a glass of water, Ace leaned against the door frame, waiting for Luke to reply.

Luke had walked into the space that could be considered the front room of the cabin and found his siblings been stubbornly friendly if you could call it that. Then Luke had got a glass of milk. Lucas said" No one can beat my record . I am unbeatable or at least in the shifter world.Blood suckers do not count towards that fact.I will give you credit and that would be you are getting faster. Give it a few years and you might have a chance." Then he took a couple more sips of his milk.Then placed it down on a table and picked up the paper. he saw the local baseball team lost again. Lucas asked" When are the mariners going to win a game?" Lucas heard Amber speak and he chuckled.
Lucas said" Oh just my usual. I went for a morning run, ran into a deer. I think i spooked myself more than I did it. A morning run is envigorating. It gets the blood pumping and it does not matter if you are in animal form or human form. Amber i know you like to be in animal form more than human form. Why is that?Do you feel more free that way? Hey Amber I bet even Nico could beat y ou."

Amber rolled her light blue eyes at Luke's boasting. As he finished, Amber smirked lightly, "Yeah, Ok... You keep telling yourself that... Luke" The 15 year old girl rolled her eyes, taking another long sip of water. As Luke asked her about why she loved her wolf form, Amber shrugged," I don't know.... Maybe because Dad taught me how to fight more in my wolf form then my human form..."
As Luke spoke about her twin brother beating her, Amber immediately started choking on her water,"Nico! No way! There is no way he could beat me..." A small 'Hey!' Of protest erupted from the emo boy, which Amber ignored. "There is no way Nico is faster then me..." Nico opened his mouth before closing it at Amber's sharp death glare.

Lucas said"You want to try and disprove my boast. You and me in a race. Let's see if you can beat me?If you can beat me then I will be the first to admit you are faster than me dear sister.Are you up for that Amby poo." He grinned at Amber as she was drinking from her glass of water. Lucas finished his glass of milk. He then got up and walked to the kitchen. He then put the glass in the sink. He rolled his eyes at her comment about her wolf form.He asked her" Want a chew toy wolf girl? I am just giving you a hard time. i love my little sister. Even if she does do crazy stuff some of the time."
Lucas laughed as she almost choked on her water when he mentioned that nuci could probably beat Amber." What is so hard to believe about Nico probably beating you in a race? You think you are the fastest? maybe that shows you have a problem in over confidence."Lucas heard a hey from Nico and he knew how to get a rise from nico or any of his younger brothers. This would be a interesting conversation between Nico and Amber. Lucas bet that nico would or could win . Lucas asked" Nico what dop you have to say about that? You think Amber here could beat you? Sometime you got to defend yopurself again assumptions like that or you will be walked all over."

Amber grinned; She always loved to race. She grinned,"You're on, my dear brother..." The 15 year old looked over at Nico, before raising her eyebrows,"Nico, Move it..." Nico rolled his eyes and threw his head back before turning on the tv. Ace took a deep breath before smiling innocently and sitting down on Nico's stomach. Nico groaned and tried to push Ace off, which the girl just smiled brightly at her twin before turning her attention to the tv. Nico groaned,"Lucas! Help a brother out, will you?"Amber growled and glared a deluxe death-glare as he teased her. 'I swear, that boy is asking for it...'
Amber glared at her older brother as he laughed at her. 'Damn you, Lucas...'Ace growled a few other words, that weren't really rated PG-13. "Because he's Nico... He got himself stuck in a tree for 4 hours..." Amber ignored a growl of protest from her twin brother who she was still sitting on. " I'm pretty sure I could beat Acer..." Nico ignored his sister's death glare. " Sup guys?" Amber looked over as Leo walked into the living room. "Other then the fact, Nico thinks he can beat me in a race, nothing really..." Amber grinned as Leo burst into laughter, ignoring Nico's murderous growls.

Luke had challenged his sister to a race . It was to prove or disaprove his boast that he was faster than her. He grinned when Amber accepted the challenge. What was better vor sibling rivalry than a friendly race among them.All it was just for fun and a bit of ego at hand.He then saw Nico and Amber's friendly brother sister spat. he chuckled at it. Lucas said" "It looks like he is not afraid of you Amber. " :ucas saws that Amber sat on Nico's chest while he watched the tv. Lucas just shook his head at how Nico was not doing anything about Amber. Nico hyelled out at Lucas about help.
Lucas said" 2 on 1 would n ot be fair now woould it. Lucas asked" When was that Nico? I did not hear about that. It would have been a funny sight to see. Did Amber run you up it?Amber you think you can beat everyone." he then sees leo come in. Lucas says " hey leo where have you been? Amber thinks she can beat us all in a race. It would be funny to see." Lucas then got up and walked over to leo and ruffled his hair and asked" So leo will you be brave enough to team up with me against Amber and Nico for a bit of family rumble?"

Amber threw her head back; As much as she loved her brothers ( Note the sarcasm), Ace knew these forests, back to front, left to right, even inside down. The 15 year old girl yelped as Nico shoved her off him, chuckling. Amber immediately death-glared her brother before standing and smacking him upside the head. Nico whined like a dog, rubbing his now sore head.
Amber snorted and rolled her eyes; Since when did Luke care about fairness? "Actually, No.... Percy did..." Nico groaned," Seriously, Acer? seriously???" Amber winked at her twin, who rolled his eyes with a groan. " No Lucas, I don't THINK I can beat you all, I KNOW I can.." The 15 year old looked up at her older brother with a smirk, "There's a difference, Lukey..." Nico and Leo both started chuckling at the Lukey comment. Leo looked at Luke, swatting his hands as he smoothed his hair back,"It's a completely stupid and sucide... I'm in!" Amber rolled her eyes at her little brother's antics; Only Leo could say something so stupid and get away with it.
