Rained In| Open

Sofia was standing off of the side of the road in Port Angeles during a rainstorm. Her shadow could be seen faintly, which was a good thing to her. The rain was soaking into the dirt creating a wet smell that filled her nose. Her hair was sticking to her face which was annoying the hell out of her, cars just pass her on there way home from work she guessed. ”Well this sure sucks...” Sofia softly muttered to herself as she stood in her soaked black boots. It wasn’t like the rain annoyed her that much for getting her wet, it’s just a mess to dry after.

There was no need to go into Port Angeles today, she didn’t need to go shopping, or feed, she just had the urge to come here today. Three weeks; Sofia traveled a lot but this was the longest she ever stayed in one place. She figured it must have been the cloudy weather, it had to be. It wasn’t like she had anywhere to be, no family, friends, or even a pet. Although she was thinking of getting a pet cat, no reason why a cat but at least it was something. It was lazy, didn’t ask for much and it wouldn’t be biting her ankle or begging for food...whatever a dog does to a vampire.

Sofia walked inside of a restaurant that was still open at this time of night, it looked like it would only be open for another hour or so though. Long enough for her. Sofia smelt the scent of humans around her it was rather overpowering even though there was very few people within the store with her. She took it as a downside though; what if there was a vampire around? It would be hard to tell with this strong of a scent, even if the idea of a vampire being in her was very slim.

Soaked from head to toe Sofia slowly walked over to a seat near the back window. She didn’t want to order anything but just wanted to dry off, not like she couldn’t fake it by eating food, it just would be rather unpleasant later on to get rid of it. Sofia looked at her reflection in the window to make sure that her contact lenses were still in. They were still in. After she was relieved from that stress she slumped down into the seat and stared out the window at the rain rather boredly.
