Tia stood on the border of her born country, Egypt, she had always meant to visit every so often but it had turned into years since she had been with her coven with Ben. Ben. Tia looked around for her mate, but he was nowhere to be found so she called out his name. "Ben?" She saw a shadow but the scent wasn't her mate's. "Who are you?" She called out to the unknown vampire. The person spoke with a voice of honey. "Why aren't you at home, where its safe?" Tia was suddenly very frightened by this vampire. "Why dont you come out so I can see you?" She asked the shadow. The shadow moved slowly forward, revealing a man. The man looked unfamiliar, she had never seen him before in her long life. Surely, he wasn't with the Cullens or a part of the witnesses? She didn't remember the man's face there at the Cullens house. As Tia was distracted, she felt a sudden strong push from the man that sent her backwards, she landed on the ground but quickly stood up. "What do you want with me? I don't even know you!" Tia shouted at the man. He had a mischievous smile on his face."Your going to be my prisoner, forcefully of course." Tia shook her head. No one could ever declare her as a prisoner unless it was the Volturi. Tia heard someone moving around behind her, she hoped it was Ben coming to rescue her from the horrible man.

It was not often Ben left Amun's hidden temple it was not often he was allowed to leave either they had to be cautious with the sunlight, so it was evening time that Benjamin found himself tracking his mates scent across the desert. He hated her wandering off without telling him because though he acted like he didn't care he knew there were people out there who'd grab her and use her to get to him. Amun had made him aware of the fact that they were being watched, all be it by accident Benjamin had benn listening in on a conversation he was having with Kebi. Which was why Benjamin was worried, normally he would not be so as he knew she would always come back to him, he followed the scent left by her pausing once or twice where he lost her, only to find it again a few seconds later. As the scent grew stronger he felt a new scent the presence of another vampire, which made him hurry along even more.
Before he knew it there she was, the other vampire he recognised instantly "What brings you to Egypt Dimitri?" he asked sarcastically landing between him and Tia. Of course it was going to be Dimitri he had his own old ties to the Egyptian Coven, he had kept to the back of the large pack of Volturi members the day they had confronted the Cullens he was to valuable to loose. "Leave her alone or I'll send you back to Aro in pieces" he threatened a serious tone creeping into his usual playful happy demeanour. He kept Tia behind him and hopefully out of trouble, to anyone else this would be amusing with Benjamin looking about fifteen whilst Dimitri about twenty, he stood no obvious chance but they knew that was a lie. From what Amun had told him about Dimitri excluding abilities they were fairly evenly matched, which boosted Benjamin's confidence, he didn't want this to end in a fight but if Dimitri didn't back off then it would. Tia looked a little shaken, but that was understandable he had to wonder what Dimitri had said to her or what he was planning, surely he knew that on his own he was less likely to get away with anything, especially when Ben was here to stop him.

Tia's assumption was correct, it was Ben who was behind her not another vampire. She stood up and watched Dimitri. "Ben, let's go. You cant fight him alone." Tia stood next to her mate, hoping he would maybe listen to her. Her gaze wandered back to the evil vampire standing before them. He spoke with a growl. "Do you think you could beat me?" Tia took a step back, just in case Dimitri tried anything.
Tia was afraid for the both of them,Dimitri was a powerful vampire. He could easily kill them both without any warning. She was extremely anixous to get far away from this place and vampire. They were only a few feet away from the border,to their coven. Maybe Kebi or Amun would help Ben fight off Dimitri. Tia looked at Ben once more, before taking his hand in hers. She would die with her mate if she'd have to.

Benjamin ignored Tia's pleading words to go glaring back at Dimitri, he was perfectly capable of fighting him this he knew yeah Dimitri was quick, but Benjamin's ability could solve that problem he knew he could take him on his own. Dimitri wouldn't hurt him anyway he could imagine how furious Aro would be if it turned out Benjamin had been killed then he would not get his little prize and if Dimitri killed Tia he would personally burn the Volturi for it. "I know I could" He hissed back at him maybe he was being a little to cocky but he didn't care, Benjamin wanted to have a shot at the Volturi he was a peaceful person but he was getting sick of this running and hiding he was better than this a part of him wanted to fight, he wanted to live freely doing what he wished not hidden from the world.
Feeling Tia take his hand he stole a quick glance at her noticing the fear in her eyes, he didn't want to frighten her or see her get hurt "Go back to the border, i'll follow I promise" he said slowly moving his gaze back to Dimitri, the Volturi were cowards he had learnt this from the Romanians if they turned their backs they would pounce so he wanted to make sure Tia was in a safe position before running away. Though he did not see, why he had to run he should not be stuck in Egypt having the Volturi on his back the second he left, he was sick of being a caged bird it was as if he was destined to be either a slave of the Volturi or Amun. "Why don't you just run back to your master again Dimitri?' Dimitri would not appreciate that comment this Benjamin knew hence why he said it, if it was okay for Dimitri to come out here and threaten his mate then it was alright for him to mock him in Benjamin's opinion.
