Jane had been waiting anxiously for Master Aro to arrive at the throne room. He usually was not that late before. Jane thought to herself" Maybe he had something come up and it kept him over late. He always has stuff to do." Jane for once was away from her brother. That was a rarity in its self. You could not find a time that they were separated and they thought alike most of the time. That was because they were twins and they did most thing s together. Jane gave up waiting and started to walk around trying to find Master Aro. Jane knew that she would not be bothered by the lower rank peasants. That brought a smirk to her face. That was a rarity in its self also. The halls were almost quiet and peaceful and that was just how Jane liked it. Jane made it to her chambers and just as she expected it to be they were empty. She had begun to think" Maybe Aro was out on a mission again" . Aro always liked to bring either Jane or Alec along with him on missions.

Jane arrived at Aro/s chambers and she stood in front of the door pondering whether to knock or not. She did not want to knock and perhaps interrupt something that may be important. On the other hand if she did not knock she would never know if he was in there or not. She rapped her knuckles onto the door. She stepped backwards and patiently waited.

Aro Had a busy day ahead of him today, meetings and such. The Castle was deserted for the moment, most of the guards were out on assignments or carrying out their Duties. He had decided to take this time to return to his chambers and relax for a few hours, something he rarely got chance to do; Being the Leader of the Volturi was no easy job that was a well known fact.

Aro then took out a book and placed it down upfront of him, it was a way for Aro to express what he felt on events that had happened within his lifetime. He had kept it hid from everyone, as no one is allowed in Aro's chamber beside his wife, when he is not present him self. He carried on writing small notes into the book, he would then hear a knock on the door; he knew who it was without even needing to ask.

“Come in Dear one... I hope you have a good reason for disturbing Master this is the only time I have to get my thoughts in order.” Aro was happy to see Jane.. and so would most likey treat her as his daugther when there out of site of the public eye. “ So Jane. Do take a seat and shut the door after you. I sense something is troubling you daughter.. So what is it..

Aro Knew Jane had troubles now and then, she was still a child but she had so many duties and overseeing the guard is not easy job. But she did it with grace and elegance, So if she was at Aro's chambers something must be troubling her or she would not wish to speak to him privately

Jane had been patiently waiting not wanting to disturb master but she was troubled with the matters at hand being about the Cullens and the Romainians trying to overthrow them. She heard Master Aro speak to the person at the door. She opened the Chamber door and she gently walked into the Chamber. She closed the door and saw that Master Aro had a book in his hand . She imagined that he was either jotting stuff into the book or have read the book. She did not like interrupting Master Aro but she could not help it this time. She walked over to master Areo and stood by him. Jane said" master i have been troubled as of late. Lately i have been thinking why we let the Cullens get away with things they have done. I know you must have your reasons. I know it is not wise to question your authority and I have not done that but it just troubles me.". She took a brief moment and gather her thoughts and continued" The other things was the Romanians and why they would dare try and overthrow us. They must know they do not have a chance against us."

Jane looked down at the floor and then back at Master Aro who treated both her and Alec as his own. She could not thank him enough for that one day when he rescued them. Jane" Can I sit down master?"She knew that with her being her doing stuff that is unlike her that he would sense that she indeed was troubled.

Aro smiled as he watched Jane enter his chambers as she shut the door after her. He then proceeded to close the book and turned his gaze to her as she walked towards him and stopped. As she addressed Aro saying. “Master i have been troubled as of late. Lately i have been thinking why we let the Cullen get away with things they have done” His facial expression changed for a moment as he heard her ask the question she did.

“Daughter. I would like nothing more then for the Cullen's to fall in line or die. But for the moment they are useful to us, Alice is a prize I want. But the vision she showed me on the eve of battle; made me see that a fight would mean the end of the Volturi. So in answer for your Question dear one. They are necessary for the time being.

“I know it is not wise to question your authority and I have not done but that is what troubles me.” You are correct you should never Question my actions or authority. But that does not mean you cannot share your feelings on the course of action I choose dear daughter. Just remember your Position within the Volturi.”

As Jane stood by Master Aro and spoke to him she saw the facial expression of Master Aro change. She did not know what it was before she spoke but she was certain it was not what his facial expression was now. Jane listened intently as Master Aro responded to the question that Jane had asked him. Jane beamed with happiness when he called her his daughter. He had always looked at Jane and Alec as his own daughter and son. Jane loved that whole heartedly. After Master Aro spoke Jane cleared her throat and said”We all know how the Cullens and the Wolves stood side by side when they faced off with us. Would it not be an act of defiance? I thought that acts of defiance like that deserved an act of punishment. I am sorry Master I did not notice that the one known as Alice had shown you a vision.” She bowed her head in an act of obedience. She listened intently to Master Aro once again.

Jane said” I am relieved that voicing an opinion about stuff is not considered a act of questioning your judgement. That is something I would never do Master .I know my position dear Master and I am honoured to know that you feel that you can trust me and Alec enough to make us a guard for you and your brothers.” Jane paused for once a moment before answering Master Aro once again. Jane asked” So you are saying people that are considered weak are the ones with the most to lose. I know that their history is something that is the opposite of us. Thank you for letting me sit dear Master.” Jane bowed her head as she sat down still by her master’s side. She would never leave her master’s side because she had lost too much but gained so much with the help of master Aro.

Jane May be young... But over the centuries she has become well versed and smarter then she was, when Aro first turned her. Aro watched Jane’s Expression and knew that the daughter comment made her feel at peace in some-way or the other. “We all know how the Cullen’s and the Wolves stood side by side when they faced off with us. Would it not be an act of defiance?” Aro watched as the words slipped of Jane’s Tongue.. She was blunt that was for sure.

Dear one... you are correct it was an act of defiance.. But they where willing to die to defend that child, I can not fault them for that. Carlisle would never put his coven at risk like he did.. if he was unsure of his actions, he is one of Masters oldest friends.. And for him to openly face me down in combat tested are friendship..”

They should be Punished.. And they will be, But For the moment I trust Carlisle to keep the child in check.

So Do not worry dear one; The Cullen’s would never put there coven in danger for something if they did not believe it was for the greater good.”

[/i][/color] Carlisle was one of Aro's oldest friend and his only one. So he would avoid fighting them if he is able.. The bond betreen Aro and Carlisle was already weakened due to the current events that had Transpired.

No that is not what I was saying.. Weak and hurt animals.. Always bare there claws... It shows that they are ready to die to astatine there goal. The Romanians.. are the animals in this case.. They will always try to under-mind the Volturi.. That my Dear is a fact of life..[/i]

J ane asked” So standing up for what you believe in does not make you any less of a person? I can see where I agree willing to die in order to protect someone close to you. I would do the same for Alec. No one would dare think they could do that without a fight from me. MasterI believe there is something about that day that I can not get out of my mind. I know it has been like forever but it haunts me to this day.” Then the conversation went to back t hat day when Alice had shown Master Aro a vision of what would happen if he started a fight. Jane realized the actions that Master Aro did or di not do had a purpose. Sure everything that Master Aro does has a purpose but jane thought that those actions had more purpose than any beforehand.

Jane pondered on what to say” What is the better way to phrase what I want to say without raising master’s anger?” Jane then asked”Do you think there was actual any true meaning behind what that Irina had told us. I thought that her coven and Carlisle’s were closer than any family should?That just sounds like that she ignored the bonds that those covens had and tossed it out the window for what she thought was a law being broke. Or am i wrong in thinking that Master?”Even though I have ill feelings towards them i truely think that they would be smart enough to not do anything that would be about breaking a law.”[/b] With what Master Aro had said jane felt that she misunderstood what he had said because of his answer. Jane said” I am sorry Master if i misunderstood what you had said. I think i should listen better and think before i talk or react to what you say."

Aro remained in his position as he watched and lisnted to jane speaking he would appear she was in one of her question moods. Aro had by now got use to it, after all she was a child and as do many children she has questions that needs to be answered. And aro would be more then happy to answer them.

I would do the same for Alec.” Aro smiled Jane was starting to get what Aro was trying to say. “Dear one.. that is correct, standing up for what ones believes is a good trait to have that is why people who have nothing will never stop Daughter.

Aro looks to her again. “I know what you mean.. but if I told you what Alice showed me.. you would not be pleased with the result. So you would do well to put it out of your head dear one.

And Irina did what all scared Vampires do, Try to gain favour with the one coven that would act on her Vision. .
