Sarah yawned quietly, as she sat down in the local bar, it was good to be back in volterra, the only place that ever truly felt like home to Sarah, she had just recently returned to town, on school holidays she had saved up like a manic from working two jobs I wish I didn’t have to go back to Seattle…its strange I never really thought a foreign land would feel so much like home…I guess it’s because I have lived here when I was an exchange student….maybe I could move down here…get a permanent visa I could stay with Rob until I get my feet sorted…get a job, and my own place then when I am really settled I could enroll in college here…it’s not like I have anything back home.[/i] she thought to herself, Sarah sipped on her water, the only reason she was in this bar was because of Karaoke night. Sarah loved Karaoke night, it meant she had an opportunity to showcase her skills as a singer, Sarah sighed biting her bottom lip waiting for her turn, she had already chosen the song she wanted to sing, a classic song well before her time Jar of hearts by Christina Perri, she checked her iphone it was already 10pm, hoping to have received a text message from her friend Robberto that he changed his mind and decided to join her, but sadly there was no text and she was alone. Maybe I should just leave[/i] she thought to herself as she sipped on her water. Sarah decided to leave and head to the clock tower, she always liked that place when her name was called by the Karaoke host, Sarah smiled a little she knew she wouldn't leave as long as it was her turn to sing. when she got up to the mic she rushed over to the DJ and had this inexpliable urge to change her song choice" um hi can i please change my song to how deep is your love by the bee jees please" she asked, the DJ had no problem with it and she smiled as she picked up the microphone and sung the song, and was surprised by how people enjoyed it, she knew she was good at singing but the way people responded always surprised her she couldn't get used to it. Sarah's cheeks blushed red as the people clapped and she looked away sheepish, she placed the microphone back on the stand and left the bar, deciding to walk to the clock tower. Sarah was semi used to the quiet streets at night in volterra, it was the same when she lived here as a student, she always thought it was errie with magnificent atmosphere the best kind for a horror movie. She sang to herself at a soft tone not wanting to wake anyone up as she finally arrived at the tower[/size] songhairstyle & outfit

Yuki. Never left Caius side, other then when he did not need her or he was going to spend time with his wife Theodora. Today just so happened to be one of them. So She had decided to take a walk to the clock tower, it was mid evening, so she did not have to worry about revealing what she really was but the way she looked to humans she looked like a super model.
That happened to work in her favor more then once, and sadly guys would still try to hit on her, she had always found the humans amusing in that respect if they knew what she really was, would they still hit on her or would they Run in fear of her. She had no interest in guys, but she had to act as a human to protect what she was.
Even in her own home she could not be who she was, unless she was within the walls of her Masters castle. But she refused to dress like the others did, and her Master Caius was kind enough to grant the request. But she would always keep the Volturi pendent around her neck, even if she did not have it in plane sight.
As she made her way towards the tower people had already began to look at her, as she made her way towards the tower. She could hear them whispering things Should a young girl like that be out currently... strange things happen in this town does she know his, should i tell her ?.
Yuki just smiled she was a Vampire and if anyone would try to hurt her, they would find themselves s with a broken neck. After she had arrived at the clock tower she looked around, after which she spotted one over person a young girl. It would appear Yuki is not the only one out this evening could be fun after all
"She walks up besides the girl and simply speaks saying. Is this not something to behold, Think of how this must of looked when it was being build." if this girl sussed out who she really is, she wont be leaving Volterra. Alive anyhow

Volterra had held a special place in Sarah’s heart, this place was truly her home and second start in life, it was magical to her and allowed her to heal from most of the pain of her past. Sarah smiled she remembered when she first came to this spot as a high school student, Robberto the son of the host she was staying with had given her a tour of the place she liked it a great deal the clock tower was much better at night than it was at daylight, it gave an ominous feeling like it was haunted and anything could happen.
Sarah breathed in a little and sighed would my life have become so messed up if I was born and raised here…i think my life would have been like. If I was from here…would I have been happy…would I have been loved and able to trust people.[/i] she thought to herself in her head, she sighed for a moment she hated when she was like that, asking questions about thee if’s and buts, nothing would change this was her life and she knew she had to learn how to live with it.
Sarah looked sighed softly and to her surprise she heard someone speak, she looked to her side, Sarah noticed a pale Asian chick that needed a tan and stat. she watched her for a moment and thought the way she spoke was so bizarre. “Yeah I guess it must have been a sight when it was still a work in progress” she responded and folded her arms and thought for a moment “This is one of my favorite places in all of Volterra. Especially during the St. Marcus day festival” she spoke recalling her first St Marcus day festival, she didn’t really want to go to it, but was dragged out by Roberto telling her to try the culture and to live a little, she never would have believed she would have fallen in love with the festival. Now. Yuki was not one to get mad, unless you really annoyed her or said something about her Master. But something about this girl seemed odd, she was human, and she was living in town of mostly vampires. But she would not say anything as not seem weird or anything, she hates it when people think that about her.
Yuki then heard the girl speaks saying. Yeah I guess it must have been a sight when it was a work in progress Yuki smiled to her and then spoke her saying. Indeed, this clock tower is old and has stood the test of time how many people can make that claim. Yuki was not about to tell her how old she was, then she would have to kill her.
As the two spoke the weather changed slightly as it began to rain, which is rare in Italy. She zips her jacket up and looks to the over girl and speaks once again. ・Rain. Really rain, of all the places for it to pick it had to be here. ooh. I should of worn a jacket with a hood She then begins to look around for shelter, she had to look and act human as much as she could.
・This is one of my favourite places in all of Volterra. Especially during St Marcus day festival. Yuki looked back to her despite her hair getting soaked and spoke once more. Do you want to get out of the rain, and yes the festival is the one time, when everyone can come together as one and party for a good cause right. ?

Sarah was quiet, it felt a little chilly and she knew it was due to the fact she was in a skirt. She looked at the clock tower and bit on her bottom lip, she knew she was privledged to view a sight like this not many people could travel like she did, but then again she had worked hard she studied at college and then she worked two jobs and saved her ass off to come here. She breathed in quietly and listened as the pale Asian chick spoke about the clock being old and has stood the test of time she smiled a little and chuckled “ how many people can make that claim…guess you haven’t heard about William Shakespeare or Leonardo Di’vinchi….Or perhaps one of the greatest women of time St. Joan of Arc, A peasant girl who led the French army to several important victories during the one hundred year war” she spoke with a bit of a smile.
Sarah had always viewed Joan of Arc as a hero, someone she admired greatly, she watched the tower as it began to rain, she could feel the stranger’s eyes on her and as she got soaked she listened to the stranger speak asking if she wanted to get out of the rain, Sarah shook her head not minding that she was getting wet “I have never heard anyone put it like that…party for a good cause, St. Marcus day is a day when Volterra holds celebration...to honor a great man named Marcus, who ran all the vampires out of Volterra forever…I know vampires aren’t real and all, their just fables…but it makes me wonder the great St. Marcus” she spoke as she jumped onto the fountain, standing on the bricks that kept the water in place.
Sarah loved the rain, it was the sun she couldn’t stand, her theory was that some people are destined to live in light and be loved, while some people like her were meant to live in darkness and be alone. Sarah walked casually on the fountain, she stopped and looked at the pale Asian chick who was either Albino or depraved of sunlight, the girl was seriously hot, like supermodel hot, not that Sarah liked girls that way.

Yuki watched the girls actions and how she spoke, and the fact that she was in a skirt and it was raining. Sucks to be her she thought before looking back to the girl, it was clear she had no intent on moving to cover, guess she liked getting wet. Yes they where famous. But their where many famous people that did not get the same respect as the ones you just spoke about, they are the only ones that can claim to be famous. But Joan of Arc. now she was someone I would of loved to of spoken to. Yuki smiled to her and climbed on to the top of fountain holding her balance without much trouble.・
All of them hours I spent at the Gym paid off. Yuki looked back down to her, as far as humans go this girl was not that bad. The girl spoke again to Yuki saying. Sarah stood on the fountain as she got drenched, it sucked that she was cold, but it was one of the things she couldn’t avoid when choosing to stand in the rain, she looked up as she was drenched and looked into the night sky at the rain that came to greet her I always love standing in the rain…nobody can see the tears you cry[/i] she thought to herself and was reminded of Yiruma’s composition Kiss the rain.
Sarah looked down at the girl as she spoke about her disbelief in vampires that they belonged in books and films and not in the real world, she smiled at the girl and listened as she went on to ask her thoughts about Marcus and introduced her name, Sarah continued to walk on the fountain balancing herself “My name is Sarah, My thoughts on the great Saint Marcus….well I thought about this a lot especially on my first Saint Marcus day festival…I went over the legend so many times….Marcus he wasn’t a mortal…he couldn’t have been, this supposed man ran all the vampires out of volterra, no human could do that all vampric lores show that they have great feats of strength, that they drank human blood….so how could a vampire’s equivalent of a happy meal vanquish an entire nest of vampires on his own….without being an immortal himself” she spoke folding her arms.
Sarah began to shiver from the cold, she shivered a little more “The thing that gets at me though, Even if the great Saint Marcus is an immortal…how did he banish Volterra’s immortal by himself I keep thinking…maybe he didn’t do it by himself, but maybe he had help…then I go back to reading the story and it clearly stated he did so alone…It’s enough to drive a girl crazy thinking about it” she flinched at the thought of crazy and jumped off the fountain landing on the ground, she knew all about crazy spending half a year in an asylum, she encountered all sorts of insanity. The rain showed no sign of stopping, and the girl seems adore the rain. that a bit creepy, but after all she is only a human, as Yuki use to be at one time. She watched as Sarah carried on walking along the fountain. Uh. Aro would have a fit if he saw this. Would seem Yuki would have to babysit this girl.

Hell Sarah. there are many views on Marcus, some same he was inhuman others say he made a deal with the devil for the power. That is the wonderful thing about legends, everyone sees it in their own way so there is no right or wrong answers for the questions. Sarah spoke once more to Yuki saying.

Again I would not think to hard on that matter, you will never know the truth behind it, no one ever will. And if you look back at history many famous and infamous people had helped, even if they where never found or spoken about. You could spend your whole life looking for answers and never find them.
History is open to interpretation, just because the books say it was true does not mean its the true answer. Have you ever thought that who ever wrote the story, wanted to or was asked to hide the truth. Marcus will always be a myth and a legend, ever person you ask will have their own view on him you must know that right. ?

Sarah shivered a little and knew she wouldn’t be able to a lot more time in the rain without the risk of catching a cold. She listened as Yuki spoke about the many views of Marcus, she thought how ironic it would be if he did make a deal with the devil and is now viewed as a saint, as Yuki finished Sarah nodded her head “ I am aware of that, that I will never have a definite answer…knowing the truth behind this legend…it doesn’t matter anyway, sure it would be nice…the important thing is I know the truth about life.” she spoke and jumped off the fountain she landed on the ground. Sarah began to walk slowly, she didn’t know if Yuki would follow and either way she didn’t really care. the truth about life….it’s a hell I will never escape alive.[/i] she thought to herself, Sarah had gone through a lot over her young life, she had face abandonment, neglect, deception, manipulation, loss and pain both physically and emotionally. The first time she tried to handle it, it resulted in attempted suicide, and after all that she had a second chance when she first arrived at Volterra as an exchange student she finally learned to let go and came to the conclusion that nothing really mattered anymore that everything was insignificant. Sarah continued to walk, and she sighed stopping “ well…you wanted to get out of the rain Yuki…are you coming, be warned should you choose to follow I am going to a place you may not survive where you may die an agonizing death” she spoke out, she turned her head over the shoulder to look back and spoke “ Karaoke” she spoke with a fake smile on her face. The fact that Yuki had been dead for over a thousand years, what could be worse then that.. Karaoke..” Yuki facial expression began to change. “ Kataoke.. your not Serious are you?. I mean that’s disturbing watching people who cant sing try to sing. But if we must lead the way Sarah...”

Sarah walked casually, and listened as Yuki had mocked the choice for karaoke as something to do. She remained quiet for a moment and thought about Yuki’s words regarding reincarnation, she resisted the urge to smile at the goose comment Rencarnation…that’s just bullshit something to ease the fear of death for cowards that fear death…no the truth about life…hope…ambition…dreams and love...there was no point to having any of that, sure it felt good at first, but it always turned to crap. The truth about life is that it’s a hell on earth and no one can escape it alive…the only constant is oblivion, death and pain. that was humanities gift and the legacy it would carry for eons to come[/i] she thought to herself
Sarah looked back at Yuki and smiled “no…I don’t believe in Reincarnation” she spoke and returned to looking forward, she shivered just a little, she knew as much as she had that theory about the truth on life there wasn’t anything wrong with liking stuff, as long as she didn’t form attachments she was fine. She looked back to Yuki “that is the beautiful thing about Karaoke, you sit and wait for someone to come, they get up on stage and for just a little bit you see the light in their eyes as their imagining a fulfilled dream of being famous…for just a little bit that person forget’s how shitty they are and when the song ends you see the look on their face as you realize their dreams will never be fulfilled and they have absolutely no talent….that sparkle in their eyes dim and is replaced with devastation….it’s sinfully delicious” she spoke casually
Sarah continued to walk soaked, and looking forward to entering the bar to dry off, she knew she was the exception to that statement she just made, she was good and her teacher back home told her so, but still she knew she would never become a singer, that wasn’t her fate, her destiny. No she knew she would die someday and she would become forgotten and then it would be as if she never existed. Finally they arrived at the establishment and entered, she had decided to sign up for a song, knowing where the list was she signed herself up for another song just for the hell of it, and what Sarah neglected to tell Yuki was another part that made karaoke awesome showing the talentless just what it’s like to be Awesome[/i] she thought to herself as she went to the heaters in the venue she stood in front of it waiting for Yuki and her name to be called to perform and devastate others.

No. I don’t believe in reincarnation.” Sarah spoke to Yuki, she did not believe in Reincarnation but she did believe In the supernatural, she was smart or just really dull headed. Yuki use to be a gesia girl back when she was a human, so she could sing and dance like the best of them. She had to for she danced for empress and emperors, and to not to be the best would end in death for her and others.
Uh... Karaoke. Are you sure you want to do this. cant we go out drinking or something like that?.. But one thing that stood out, was the place she had chosen to do karaoke happened to be run by vampires, and overseen by the Volturi, so she would be doing Karaoke in font of vampires and humans alike. The vampires would instantly notice Yuki for whom she is and the fact that she can have anyone in this club killed if the need arose.

”Yes.. but its more fun to watch their dreams die. and fade into nothingness, not everyone is born to do breathtaking things, you are born you live you die. so is the endless circle of life.” What would happen if Sarah found out that Yuki's job, was to protect Marcus. It would be funny to see how she would react to such a statement.
