Alex had grown fond of this pile of rubble. Each time he came he would always see something different. A different part of history. He lapped it up like a dog. Knowledge was power. Well at least to him anyway. He walked slowly over the soft green grass, it was dark out. The moon was of course high in the clear sky, each individual star twinkling like a million dollar diamond. Alex knew the twinkle well. Although he enjoyed moving about during the day, he would always be a night owl. The night was always far more alive when you were a vampire. The soft swish of the night air carrying scents of humans that had long went to sleep.
He walked with a cane, not because he had to. Because he wanted to. It was very.. elegant. He enjoyed acting like a middle aged gentlemen. His whole attire screamed it. His light grey matching suit, with a striped grey waist coat. A gleaming gold pocket watch encrusted by diamonds - a gift from a 18th century English judge. Black smart shoes. And to finish off a black overcoat. Although he said he didn't care about his appearance he really did. His black hair was slightly tousled, but it went.
He decided on a spot just further than the one he had sat beside a couple of nights ago. He sat down in one swift movement. Placing the cane beside him he splayed both hands and placed them in the grass around him. Closing his eyes and tilting his head towards the twinkling stars he smiled and let the vision take hold. The Romans were watching another one of the crazy Greek tragedy, this one was Oedipus. The story of a boy whos destiny could not be changed. He was fated to kill his father and marry his mother. And that he did without knowledge of doing so. He was banished to exile as it was him who had brought the plague onto his people of Thebes. It was a scorching hot day, all the rich Romans were lying out being fed grapes and other such luxuries by their slaves as the impoverished rushed about doing anything to earn themselves an extra few gold coins. There was one in particular Roman whom everyone flocked to. The one sitting right at the front. Surrounded by Roman guards. Of course it could be non the other than the emperor himself.
While Alex enjoyed the educational vision he ignored his other scenes taking in nothing but the vision. He had even slid down so he was now lying in the ruins and the grass.

Aro Volturi Volturi Leader
Aro. Had almost gave up hope of ever finding his sire, he was more then that, he was Aro's father well adoptive father but father none the less. If Aro ever did find him; they would have a lot to catching up to do. After all Alex made Aro the person he is today and without his guidance, Aro may of never formed the Volturi to begin with.
Aro had sent guards out all over the world to look for him, and each one came back with nothing to bring Aro any closer to finding his father. But it would be when all hope was lost; that Aro would receive information about him, from one of his contacts Nikolai, The one person who Aro had a mural agreement with.
If any one could find clues to Aro's sire, Nikolai would be the one; he has never let Aro down once and in return for his help Aro compensates him very well. Some could say a little bit too much but when Aro needs outside help Nikolai is the go to guy. For that he will always have Aro's trust and respect.
Nikolai's information would lead Aro to the Roman theatre, Aro's father and sire was under his nose all this time.. How could his guard not locate him, in their own town. “Can this be.. is he really in Italy. If so I must go meet him. “ He would then rise from his throne and would speak again saying. “ Your four come with me. We going to meet someone.
A few hours later Aro would arrive at the Roman theatre, along with his a few select guards. He scans the area for the moment and spots a lone vampire sitting among the ruins, could this be Alex his sire, or would this be a waste of time like so many others have ended up being.

Suddenly a fight broke out. A peasant had threw himself towards the emperor banishing a knife. The Roman guard were upon him in seconds, he didn't manage to reach the emperor at all, they were that efficient. The play stopped. Everyone aghast at what had just unfolded, an attempt on the emperors life. This would not sit, the emperor was a cruel ruthless man. With one small gesture of his head, the guard holding the guilty party drew his sword and chopped his head off. Bloody sprayed everywhere. It was much better than the play itself. Some of the nobles around the emperor clapped. It was just how it was. Support the emperor or die.
The vision had come to an end and Alex grinned. A perfect example of a man the emperor was. His power alone forced people to support him, even when he was chopping off heads. Alex could sense the emperors pleasure at giving the order to chop off the mans head. He understood the pleasure well. When he had found his brother and the... Wretch together in bed, he had killed them. He had taken particular pleasure in doing it as painful as possible. He had stabbed his brother deep in the stomach and made him watch as he had slit the woman's throat. Even then as human he had enjoyed the blood running over him. It's red glistening glow, it's iron smell. The thought of it now had him practically salivating.
A scent caught in his nostrils. It was so familiar. He snapped out of his little daydream and sat up alert. He knew the scent but a part of him was telling him there was danger. He knew it was other vampires but he didnt understand why he was so alert. The reaction to the scent made him curious. He turned towards the source and frowned. Five figures in the distance. Even as a vampire he couldn't make out faces, it was pitch black outside. One of the places that didnt have those crazy man made fluorescent lights. He shifted slightly, even if it was a danger he wasn't going to flee like a coward. He was going to sit up nice like a gentlemen and be inviting. Cox them across and chat. Then if anything did evolve from this, and there was danger. He'd fight. It was a cruel world be he loved a good old fight.
Fixing his clothes, he straightened his jacket and wiped a little dirt from his trousers. He ran his hand through his hair and struck a toothy grin on his face. "Hello? How may I be of assistance?" [/colour] he chose to be as polite as possible. A thought crossed his mind, perhaps they didnt speak English? "ciao, come posso essere di aiuto?" [/blockquote]

Aro Volturi Volturi Leader
Aro was hesitant to talk to him at the moment. What if he was his father, what would he say and would he be proud of his son for what he had made of him self. How did this happen Aro Volturi, the feared ruler of the Volturi afraid to talk to a lone vampire. The guards that accompanier him looked as if they where confused as-well. But this was Volterra, he was safe within his own town that he knew for a fact.
The way Alex carried him self his tone of voice the way he composed him self, remaining calm and cool in the presence of another.. maybe this could be his father/sire. If it was a part of Aro life would be finally be complete. His biological father was worthless, Aro needed someone like Alex to care and train him. And he did much more then that, he drove him to form the Volturi.
Aro decided to overcome his all most fear like feeling and spoke saying. “I like to keep informed of new people that arrive in my town. And you carry your self with a noble stance and talk like a noble, you remind me of someone that I met when I was still human. You could say he made me what I am today. But forgive my Rudeness, you may address me as Aro and welcome to my town I do hope your finding all you desire here.
Aro knew he was taking a shot in the dark with his answers, but if this was his father, he should click to the fact and instant return an answer that only Alex would know. If he did not then Aro would bid him farewell and return to the castle, and would simply add this encounter to the list of failed encounters. But if it was Alex then Aro would of found his Master and Father, and that desire would never leave Aro Volturi.

Alex could see the hesitance in one of the hooded figures face as they moved towards him. This made him a little more confident, he knew that there wouldn't be any trouble now. The leader.. well he seemed like the leader was hesitant. Alec wouldn't start a fight, he only finished them. It just wasn't in his nature anymore to go looking for a fight. Maybe once when he was a young foolish vampire.
“I like to keep informed of new people that arrive in my town. And you carry your self with a noble stance and talk like a noble, you remind me of someone that I met when I was still human. You could say he made me what I am today. But forgive my Rudeness, you may address me as Aro and welcome to my town I do hope your finding all you desire here." Alex tilted his head to the side when the male first started talking. He was very powerful. His words echoed this. His eyebrow shot up when the male spoke of him reminding him of someone he met when he was human. could it be..? The second he stated his name Alex broke into a huge grin. Not his normal subdued grin but a great big toothy grin. One that would only be shared between a father and son.
"Son?" He said it louder than he anticipated. It was more of a shout. He stood instantly and moved closer. Not too close but close enough to get a full view. Although his heart confirmed who was there he was still wary in case he had mistaken. He felt giddy. Like a young child at christmas. If it was his Aro then his life would have changed for the better. He had no idea what had become of the young boy once he had left his care. He had searched for years. He had heard lots of things about his wonderful son but felt that he shouldn't intrude just yet. He should let the boy grow before he came back into his life.
He could remember the boy well. He said boy, but he was more of a man when he came into Alex's life. He would forever be a boy in Alex's mind though. His floppy black hair, the pain in his eyes as he hungered for more than mortality. Alex knew it well. He had seen himself in Aro the day they had met. He knew he had to give the boy a chance. A chance that Alex's own master had given him. He had been worth it. Alex could never think bad of Aro. Never. He would always be proud of him no matter what. The male that stood before him now was the perfect image of what Alex had wanted Aro to become. Not because he wanted to force the boy, but because he knew it was in his potential.

Aro Volturi Volturi Leader
Aro first thought after he had heard Alex say “Son” was this was is father, there was no denying it now, Aro felt overjoyed, his father his sire in arms distance of him. The Volturi guard looking confused at the current moment, but Aro really could not care less about them, his dad was only think currently in his thoughts. Aro let out small grin and looked to his father saying.
“Father.. you do not know how long I have searched for you. And to be honest I was dreading this moment. Not because I did not want to find or see you, but deep down I could not help but think would you be proud of me, when you met me I was a mere boy, now we stand face to face and I am the head of the vampire way of life.”
Aro was never really that good at showing his emotions, but it's not every day fearless leader of the Volturi is lost for words. “Do forgive my guards, someone in my position can ill afford to travel without guards. So tell me father, after we parted ways where did you go I would of liked to of had you in my life. Your advice and guidance are the one thing I could trust and your teachings helped me develop my self not only as a vampire. But as a father my self.
Aro of coarse was talking about Jane and Alec, he had saved them from being burned alive, he would not show it in public or even in private; but Alec and Jane where is kids. His wife even saw them as such. He would be lost without the twins. He then extends his hand to his father, he was not going to use his gift on his own father he trusted him after all trust is part of being family

It was him Of course it was! How could he deny it. He looked exactly the same as he had when they had first crossed paths. Obviously. Alex was never stupid but at this point in time he had made himself a right fool. How could he have not seen it? He was so overjoyed. “Father.. you do not know how long I have searched for you. And to be honest I was dreading this moment. Not because I did not want to find or see you, but deep down I could not help but think would you be proud of me, when you met me I was a mere boy, now we stand face to face and I am the head of the vampire way of life.” The feeling in his chest when he heard the word father, it was enough to bring any man to his knees. If he was human he would probably be crying. Alex hung on Aro's every word. Listening intently. He frowned slightly, how could the poor boy ever think that Alex would think ill of him? Even if he had amounted to nothing Alex could never be ashamed.
"How could you think that?" His voice was barely that of a whisper. He felt so saddened that the boy would think this way. As much as Alex was heartless there was only one person in the world who could render him an emotional mess and this was his son. "My son... I would never feel ashamed of you. I feel nothing but pride. I always knew you would reach your full potential. You always had it in you and look. See where you are now. Aro you were always more than a mere boy. You were always special. I knew from the day I lay eyes on you. Those eyes held so much pain. But so much potential" Alex beamed. He was full of so much pride and joy. The emotions that were overcoming him were so strong. It almost hurt to experience them. Much more so as he was normally an heartless shell.
Alex grinned. "Of course I expect nothing less from such an almighty leader. You have always been so very intelligent my son... Alas I traveled far and wide. It was difficult without you I must admit. But you had to be your own person, it's just how it goes in this world of ours." He shrugged and tousled his hair a little. "Ah, offspring are what makes this life interesting. You will of course be an excellent father to them"
When Aro outstretched his hand, Alex moved to him instantly. Grasping his sons hand firmly he pulled him in for a hug. Alex had never been in contact with someone this intimately in years. But it felt right. This was his son. His family. He would gladly serve under him. Although he wasn't very fond of joining the Volturi, he would support them in anyway he could. He was not going to let his son slip through his fingers again. "I'll always be proud of you my son... Don't ever fear that my love is not there. It always is." He whispered lightly.

Aro Volturi Volturi Leader
Alex. Was truly Aro's father. He spoke like he did and even acted as Aro did. He would make a find addition to the Volturi, But Aro would not even bring that topic up. He was glad his father was alive, and that was good enough for him. So if you wanted to look at it Alex would be Jane and Alec's grandfather, if you where looking at it from a family point of view.
“How could you think that” Alex spoke to Aro, “ Forgive me father, but after you left me I wanted to make you proud, but I had no way of knowing if you even existed, you vanished; but you do know you got like nearly over three thousand years to make up for it. Aro grins a little. “ You up to that dad”. Alex spoke once more this time what he said would make Aro very happy.
My son... I would never feel ashamed of you. I feel nothing but pride. I always knew you would reach your full potential. You always had it in you and look. See where you are now. Aro you were always more than a mere boy. You were always special. I knew from the day I lay eyes on you. Those eyes held so much pain. But so much potential"
if Aro could cry he would be right about now. “ Dad.. I am so happy that you think that, you took a chance on me you could of left me their to fend for my self. But you did not, you took me under your wing and guided me when I would stay from the path. And that is something I will never be able to repay you for father.
Father you should come to the castle. I have collected many things over my lifetime, books to name a few.” he smiles as he hugs his dad once more” the part of Aro that as missing was now filled. The question is will he stick around now he knows his son is alive and head of the vampire way of life.

Forgive me father, but after you left me I wanted to make you proud, but I had no way of knowing if you even existed, you vanished; but you do know you got like nearly over three thousand years to make up for it. Alex listened carefully. He felt it was better to leave Aro to his own destiny. He had been reluctant to do so but he knew it was the right thing to do. The boy was ready to be on his own and if he stayed with Alex he would never be where he was now. He would have been bogged down by his old master. There was no point in thinking about what ifs. Alex never thought that way. He learned from his mistakes and moved on. End of. " I am sorry son. You know me though. Wanderlust. I don't like staying in places to long... Well I used to feel that way. In a way it was good that I did leave you. Look what you have became. This was your destiny." Alex chuckled at Aro's next comment about making it up to him. "I'm up to any challenge" He gave a toothy grin.
“ Dad.. I am so happy that you think that, you took a chance on me you could of left me their to fend for my self. But you did not, you took me under your wing and guided me when I would stay from the path. And that is something I will never be able to repay you for father. The emotion in Aro's words was much the same as the way Alex felt. It was a pretty emotional reunion. "There is no need for repaying. Just being a part of your life, and the occasional thought is all I'd like. You reminded me of myself when I was a scared human. I was running from a mob, I had killed my own brother and my... Wretch." Even talking about her still hurt him. He could never open up to a woman in that way ever again. "Everyone deserves a chance." He smiled again.
"Father you should come to the castle. I have collected many things over my lifetime, books to name a few.” Alex lifted one of his eyebrows. A castle. He was dying to see this. He had heard about the volturi but he had never delved to much as he was biding his time before he found his son again. "I'd love to. Aha! Books. I do love a good book." He chuckled softly. "I too have a castle not far from here. It's my permanent residence. You are always welcome my son. Your family and friends too. I'm here to stay this time. If you want that" He tried to sound casual but he was really hoping that Aro would want him to stay. It would be very painful to leave again.

Aro Volturi Volturi Leader
I am sorry son. You know me though. Wanderlust. I don't like staying in places to long... Well I used to feel that way. In a way it was good that I did leave you. Look what you have became. This was your destiny. “ Again father this was down to both of us, you for your lessons and me for having the balls to take what I wanted and to kill anyone who got in my way. And yes I have become a god between vampires, would you not agree.”
Aro had wonder if he should call him Master, but father seemed like a better thing to address him as such. But maybe it was good that his father had left him to become his own person so to speak. He got what he wanted, power money and respect. And his own personnel army to boot.
"There is no need for repaying. Just being a part of your life, and the occasional thought is all I'd like. You reminded me of myself when I was a scared human. I was running from a mob, I had killed my own brother and my... Wretch." Aro had always wondered what happened to the women he saw as his step mother, but now that she is dead, there is no reason to care about her any more.
“such a shame you killed uncle and mother. but atlas they just did not have what it takes to live in the world we live in now. But tell me father did you have fun with your travels, you must tell me what you saw and did. I so love stories dear father. Aro was still all giddy and this feeling would not leave him for some time.
"I'd love to. Aha! Books. I do love a good book.",He chuckled softly.,"I too have a castle not far from here. It's my permanent residence. You are always welcome my son. Your family and friends too. I'm here to stay this time. If you want that. Aro nodded and hugged his dad once more. “ Father. you know the answer for that, your part of my life now. you may not be part of the Volturi. But your still my father.

"Again father this was down to both of us, you for your lessons and me for having the balls to take what I wanted and to kill anyone who got in my way. And yes I have become a god between vampires, would you not agree.” Alex did feel a little guilt for leaving the poor boy on his own. But he was right he was a god amounghst the vampires, if they changed anything about the past it could have ended very differently. " yes my son, you are a very powerful god. Each and every vampire must bow down to you. " he nodded with recognition. Alex was proud of his son for becoming this, he knew deep down when they had first met the boy was destined for great things. He was glad one of them had reached this sort of power. Although Alex did think of himself as some amazing god, he knew he was not on par with his son. But that was okay in his mind. If it had been anyone else he would never stand aside and take it. He knew in a way there would be exceptions made for him by his son, but he would not rock the boat. It was just disrespectful.
Alex's feelings were in turmoil but he hid them well. He only showed his excitement for his son and love but when they began talking about his... harlot things just changed within him. He could never get over how much he had given over to her. He had never done so with another person. He had loved her. Loved her so much that when she betrayed him his love conformed to something much more powerful. That was the problem with love. There was a fine balance, that was easily crossed if the emotions were this intense. Alex had sworn off women. He had womanised. Slept with them and chucked them the very same day but after that nothing more. No shows of affection, no gifts. Just plain rough sex and then goodbye. He had seen love though between vampires and it did seem different but he was unable to give himself over for that. He was sure that he would never find a companion. And that he didnt want one... didn't he?
"such a shame you killed uncle and mother. but atlas they just did not have what it takes to live in the world we live in now. But tell me father did you have fun with your travels, you must tell me what you saw and did. I so love stories dear father." Alex smiled softly, consealing his feelings well. "Yes, very much so. I do love this great earth we live on. I have so many stories to share with you son, so many tales to tell. Also the experiences I have had with my power. It has been rather amazing to say the least." He was unsure if his son knew about his power, but it was not anything amazing. It was amazing in Alex's eyes but it would never cox a position In an army.
"Father. you know the answer for that, your part of my life now. you may not be part of the Volturi. But your still my father. " Alex smile filled his face. He was glad his son seen him in this way. " perhaps I could be an adviser to the Volturi?" he chuckled softly. If aro wanted him to join then he would. He would do anything for his son. Anything in the world.

Aro Volturi Volturi Leader
Aro was only now starting to come to grips with the fact that his father is staying. And that made him even happier then he was currently. Aro could read his fathers mind, and see what he had done with his life thus far. But that could be seen as a break of trust, and Aro would not wish to push his father away after just getting him back.
"Yes my son, you are a very powerful god. Each vampire must bow down to you." a small grin came to his face as he heard his father call him god. “ Well it was not just me. My kids have played a huge role in my rise to power, without the twins at my side things Volturi may never of existed to begin with.
Aro dismissed the guards as he wished to speak to his father without the his guards disturbing them. “Yes, very much so. I do love this great earth we live on. I have so many stories to share with you son, so many tales to tell. Also the experiences I have had with my power. It has been rather amazing to say the least."
Aro paused for a moment as he heard his father speak of a power. Maybe that was one of reasons why Aro has attained his power to begin with. “ You have a gift father? If so that makes two of us. I also have a gift of my own, which helps me to choose who i kill and who lives Alex spoke again saying to Aro. "Perhaps I could be an adviser to the Volturi?"
Aro grinned once again and spoke again You will always be more then an adviser dad, but my brothers Marcus and Caius rule beside me. But i would be honored to have you become an adviser to the Volturi. And maybe in time if my brothers agree. You could join the Volturi as more then an adviser. Maybe as a member of the guard. But for now consider your self an unofficial member of the Volturi.

"Well it was not just me. My kids have played a huge role in my rise to power, without the twins at my side things Volturi may never of existed to begin with." Alex smiles slightly and nodded. Aro spoke so proudly of his children. He hoped that Aro knew that Alex felt the same way about Aro. He was proud. He knew that his son had achieved such great things and in turn would be rewarded with it for the rest of his life. "Even the greatest need some assistance. I'd love to meet the twins someday." Even from the short time they had spent together it was clear that the twins were something to behold. He was intrigued by the prospect of them. Although he didn't know quite what to expect at first.
Alex watched the guards leave and turned more towards his son. " we have much to catch up with and discuss my son." Alex had a lot of questions for Aro. He was by nature an inquisitive person and liked to know every detail. With his gift this game in handy. He was able to tell every single detail of an inanimate object with one touch. He would see the past, present and future of it. But Alex preferred to look to that past. He had little interest in the future as it was subject to change. Even with intimate objects. "You have a gift father? If so that makes two of us. I also have a gift of my own, which helps me to choose who i kill and who lives." Alex had known in himself that Aro would have been special. That he too would have some for of gift. " that is intriguing son, what sort of gift? Are you able to show me? Alas my own gift is nothing really. It's more of an educational tool really. I am able to touch an inanimate object and learn its past, present and future. I rarely use the insight to the future as it changes so often there is little use for it." Alex shrugged as if it was nothing. He was proud of his gift, but he knew it was not thoroughly amazing.
"You will always be more then an adviser dad, but my brothers Marcus and Caius rule beside me. But i would be honored to have you become an adviser to the Volturi. And maybe in time if my brothers agree. You could join the Volturi as more then an adviser. Maybe as a member of the guard. But for now consider your self an unofficial member of the Volturi." Alex smiled softly. " I am here as you need me son, if you do not need my assistance then I will happily just stand by as an outsider." The Volturi was interesting but he was unsure where he would fit in. If he would fit in at all. He was more about respect than taking over. He cared dearly for his son, he would never do anything to hurt him.

Even the greatest need some assistance. I'd love to meet the twins someday. Aro nodded as he sat down on the grass, they had hours of night left, so their would be no need to rush this family time in his eyes anyhow. “ You will get your chance father. And I am sure they would want to meet you to father. The father of their master.
We have much to catch up with and discuss my son. Alex spoke again to his son. he was not kidding they had years to catch up on. “ Father we will have time for that later, for now I want to hear about you, and your exploits. Aro thought if he should tell his father about his gift, but he told him so it would seem rude not to return the gesture.
“ I have the gift of Tactile Telepathy.” it allows me when I touch someone to see read every thought they have had even have. So you can see why that would benefit someone in my position. It helps me make my choices from time to time, but your gift must have its uses am I not right father.
“ I am here as you need me son, if you do not need my assistance then I will happily just stand by as an outsider, Aro would know doubt look to Alex when he was unsure of how he should precede in a matter if it was of vital importance“ Father I would expect you to voice your option on matters, if you have input on the topic in question.”

“ You will get your chance father. And I am sure they would want to meet you to father. The father of their master" Alex chuckled happily. He was getting the feeling that Aro had some very loyal subjects, that they all respected him to the highest standard. Alex was genuinely interested in how each member fit in and how they all operated as a unit. He was excited to see what it was like back at the "headquarters". He did wonder how they would react to his presence also. Alex wasn't expecting special treatment. But from what his son was saying it seemed like there would be.
"Father we will have time for that later, for now I want to hear about you, and your exploits." There was so much to tell, Alex had been all over the world. He had experienced so many things. A little crevice of his brain had registered loneliness during these years, as Alex had travelled mostly on his own. There was times where he would accompany another vampire but these times were very short lived. People could only take Alex in small doses. His big headed-ness did tend to get very annoying after a while. " I do have much to tell my son, I am a very well travelled man."
"I have the gift of Tactile Telepathy. it allows me when I touch someone to see read every thought they have had even have. So you can see why that would benefit someone in my position. It helps me make my choices from time to time, but your gift must have its uses am I not right father." Alex pushed a hand through his hair, taking in what his son had just said to him. "wow. So with one touch you know everything from a person?" Alex was so impressed. His gift looked so merger in comparison. "It does have its uses, it gives me insights to the past. Basically like watching history in movie form. It also shows me the future of objects but there are so man possibilities I don't even bother. The future is so uncertain there is no point in dabbling with it." he shrugged slightly.
"Father I would expect you to voice your option on matters, if you have input on the topic in question.” Alex nodded. " Just so you know, I respect you and your Volturi. I will do nothing to cause trouble." he just wanted to make that clear as he had a bit of a reputation for overthrowing and taking things he wanted,
