I do have much to tell my son, I am a very well travelled man. Aro did miss that side of it, he use to travel all-over the world, but now that he runs the Volturi, its travel plans are for ever on hold for the moment anyhow. If he wanted to he could travel for a few months; but then who would rule the vampire nation.

So for lack of better word, given enough time I can find out a person's weakness, and exploit it to in my favour. Aro carried on watching his father as he did what he did best, look cool without meaning to do so. Just so you know, I respect you and the Volturi. I will do nothing to cause trouble.

As a vampire with eternal life it was important to travel. It was possible to fulfill every dream you ever had as a human. Alex had had many dreams as a young human, he had wanted to get away from his horrific parents and travel but at the time it was just impossible. The only way you could travel was if you had large amounts of money as there was no planes or steam boats or anything like that. It was all on horseback. And even then you had to buy a horse and supplies. With a poor bar tenders wage Alex was barely able to live. He had taken on so much overtime for his whore. To give her the perfect wedding and build a house. He had saved every penny to give her the life that she had deserved... Well back then before she cheated. But in today's world it was far easier to travel.

" Alas my son, I have traveled to almost every corner of the globe. It is a lonely path on my own. I shall wait till I find a companion to accompany me. Perhaps it can be you? I will always take trips elsewhere but I will return here for now. This is my home until I get bored." He laughed softly. He had grown tired of being alone really. He had craved attention and intelligent conversation. But he knew he would get bored eventually. It always happened. He would just let it take its course and then decide on a later date his next course of action.

Perhaps the only scrap of sentiment would be about his whore and being a little lonely. Other than that Alex was stone.

He was so proud of him and wanted this to work. He was ready to be a subject rather than a ruler for a change. He was interesting in what this new life would give him. What experiences it would hold and the people he would meet. He was excited at the prospect.
