Welcome, individual, to the grand re-opening of Forever Young, a semi-literate to advanced Twilight roleplay site set fifty years after the concluding events of Breaking Dawn. Tensions in the vampiric covens are still running high, with many of the smaller covens wary of the possibility of a power shift between the Volturi and the rapidly expanding Cullen coven, but you won't hear that from the Volturi themselves--in fact, mentioning the Cullens around the Volturi is probably a good way to go about shoving your own neck on the metaphorical guillotine.

Still, even with this, life goes on, as it always does (especially when you're immortal), and the covens continue their existence, obeying the laws laid before them by their Italian overlords, and there hasn't been a major stirring since that day fifty years ago.

Now that's about to change.

Aro, in an effort to acquire more powerful vampires for his collection of guards, has declared it to be time to throw the annual Forever Young ball, outwardly a celebration of life and the fact that many of them have been living it for a long, long time, in relative peace. Inwardly, however, there's something else lurking just under the surface.

All guests are required to attend with a partner, perhaps in an effort to prevent stragglers from noticing the obvious tension between the Cullens and the Volturi, or perhaps not. Old and new covens will be there, along with the occasional nomadic loner, and under the guise of celebration and the filmy gauze of golden cloth alliances will be struck, old enemies will meet face-to-face, and secrets will pull themselves out of the shadows they have so long been hidden in.
