Edward was glad to be back in forks, but that would mean he would have to go back to school, and he had started to wonder why he even went to begin with. But his father had talked him into it countless times, how does he do it ?. But Edward would never not listen to his fathers advice. He would get one hell of telling of if he ever did.

The whether was still poor, rain and thunder had made the roads unsafe to drive on, but Edward never did pay much heed to the codes of the road, and he wanted to teach his daughter how to drive. His wife would have a field day with that idea, and Bella was good at getting her point across to him or anyone for that matter.

Edward arrived at the schools student parking as turned of the engine and got out, getting hit with a huge downpour of rain. “ Forks.. why must you do this to me. Cant you not wait till im in the classroom?” Edward started to make his way towards the student recreation room, he did not have lessons an till after lunch

The common room was sort of deserted at around this time, most where in class or just playing games or reading. His daughter and wife should be class, but knowing Nessy, being like her dad, she would of skipped her classes. Edward would have to play the unhappy dad, but deep down he was proud of his little angel

Fifty odd years it had taken them to return to Forks. To when it would safe for them to return, and she was glad that now was the time. She had actually missed Forks, though it also meant putting up with the way the weather behaved itself. Often she questioned why she and some of the others had to keep going to school. She didn’t particularily care for that part of being a Vampire.

Repeating everything! It got so dull. After how many times she knew the others had been in high school, now she understood what they meant. Of course their father talked her and Edward into staying in the school despite how much both of them had not wanted to go back. He was good at convincing them to go back, and how he did it, she would never know.

The one thing she did know that if any of them ever disappointed their father, or didn’t do as was requested, that they’d never hear the end of it. They would be told off. This much she knew. Being a vampire meant there were certain rules she had to abide that she hadn’t had to abide before. Though she had gotten used to it. A smirk appeared upon her face, as she drove to school.

Yes, she still had the old pick up that she had used when she was still a human, which was quite outdated compared to her husband and the others’ flashy vehicles but it was the only vehicle she had. Part of her had often thought about getting something new, but she had not figured out what kind of a vehicle to get yet. The possibilities were endless.

She smirked as she often did when things were going the way they were. She’d skipped first block as it were, had to do with history, because well frankly the teacher annoyed her, and she had gotten all of her coursework done ahead of time which the teacher couldn’t understand. She didn’t feel like just wasting her time sitting there, in such a boring class. She had stepped outside for a while, mostly because she had enjoyed the cool weather that Forks brought upon them. Of course once it started to rain, she knew she had to get inside. Today was going to be a lovely day, she could already tell.

Walking into the school’s front entrance, instead of going straight into her second class, she had walked into what would be the Common Room....a sort of recreation room for those that did not want to attend class or didn’t have class for a while. She rarely ever skipped a class, but today was one of those days where she just didn’t feel like it. Her second class of the day was supposed to be science and she knew what the plan was for the day thanks to Alice having a vision that warned them about the teacher wanting them to prick themselves, to examine their own DNA. Something she had wanted to avoid for obvious reasons. Since she was a vampire and all.

Arriving in the room, she noticed very few others were there. Not the worst case scenario but certainly not the best either. A grin appeared on her face, when the man she loved—her husband was there! She walked over toward him and knew he would question why she wasn’t in class but she could figure out what to tell him. Not that it would matter, he would know after living with her for as long as they had been married that she didn’t skip classes without a reason. A reason like blood being drawn was a very good reason. “Hey. What are you doing here so early? I thought you didn’t have classes til after lunch?” She asked her husband as she was standing maybe a foot away from him now. Her tone was the loving, warm one that Edward had been used to for quite some time. Edward and their daughter was the reason for her existance, on top of the other family members so she often found so much joy in their presence. Her eyes were lit up when she saw her husband.

Fifty years, was a long times even to a vampire. But the time away from forks was needed, not just for Edward but his entire family. And with the Volturi not harassing them anymore, things seemed to be as they should be. Peace full and wonderful. He could now start to be a proper father to nessy, without having to keep looking over his shoulder for the Volturi.

Edward would still look over his shoulder, but just not as much as he use to; he just hoped this truce they have with the Volturi remains in place. For if it did not they would have to move away again. Edward had texted Nessy to ask if she wanted a lift tonight, but all he got back was smile, and with his daughter that could mean anything.

“Hey. What are you doing here so early? I thought you didn’t have classes till after lunch?.” Edward smiled and turned to look at Bella as she walked into the common room, he did not really have a reason to be honest. But it was the best time to get study and maybe listen in on what others happen to be talking about.

“ Hah. Ya i wanted to get some revision sorted and as you can see this is the best time of the morning to do so. Everyone is still arriving or already in early morning classes. And i also wanted to check up on nessy to see if she showed up to school today. Depending on what her grades are, will decide if i give her the car that we spoke about.

She still couldn’t believe it had been fifty years, that she had been a vampire. When it felt like it had just happened yesterday. The time away from Forks, their home, was needed not just for themselves, but for everyone involved. It was safe to say that now that the Volturi had stopped harassing them over every single thing that life should be as it was supposed to be. Peaceful and wonderful though it was, they could begin to be a proper family, without having to look over one’s shoulder in order to see if a Volturi guard or leader was right behind them. Still it felt like it had been only yesterday since she and Edward married and Renesmee had been born. She had loved their family, even if she had—put them through some difficult things when she was still human. Some might believe it would have been better off if she had never known the truth. But she didn’t believe that, not really. Everything had happened the way it was meant to, she knew that better than anyone.

She smiled as she looked at her husband, it was safe to say that at last she was in peace with everything that had happened. As long as they were able to keep the truce with the Volturi, they could remain in Forks. Of course they didn’t stay in one place very long so that people didn’t get suspicious about why they never aged. She smirked as she walked forward toward her husband.

Knowing her husband he had come here to do some studying. That was what the common room was good for of course. “Sounds like you’ve been here a while. Any time is as good as any when time’s all you’ve got. She’s in class. Jacob dropped here off a little before first period this morning. So he could get back to the reservation to attend his own classes. She’s probably distracted....given what her friends like to discuss in the early morning hours.” She chuckled, as she looked at her husband. Ah the curiousity of teenagers of this time, not much different from the ones she grew up with. “I agree, but don’t you mean if we agree to give her the car we talked about?” She asked her husband, as she hoped he wasn’t going back on the promise that the car would be from both of them. She moved forward, until she stood exactly next to her husband. So much had happned in the last fifty years, so much had been gained and lost stil in some ways her life was really just beginning. “I skipped first hour though, since I had a bit of an emergency to deal with, if you know what I mean.” She was referring to the fact she had just gotten back from hunting. But she didn’t want to come out and say it as although there weren’t many humans around there were a fair few. She smiled warmly at her husband and waited to see what he would say about that. "Though I must say I'm glad to be back. We've been away for far too long, Edward. At least this time hopefully we can live in peace here, without the Volturi watching out every move." She told her husband honestly.

“Sounds like you’ve been here awhile. Any time is as good as any when time’s all you’ve got. She’s in class. Jacob dropped here off a little before first period this morning.

Edward smiles and nods again with a somewhat cheesy grin on his face. “ I used to have friends then I got married. *laughs and quickly pulls his wife down onto the sofa and warps his arms around her lightly kissing her forehead. “Yea.. about the car, I think it will make prefect present from both of us, we could always give her your beat up truck..”


*He grins, he knew he would get a smack for that, but it worth it to see his wife smile and just being herself. “I only arrived a few hours ago, my love a friend wished to meet me here about something. I feel he may of forgot, and I am glad you got a bite to eat, I had the one my self on the way in..

“The Volturi will never leave us be. even if the truce does hold, Aro and the Volturi are part of our life as-well. I hate saying that. But if I know Aro, we will be safe, if he finds out we are in danger he will send his guard to aid us.

He made that clear to our father. But for now lets just be students again. You know cutting classes sneaking out all the stuff we used to do.

She smiled to her husband as she enjoyed moments like these, where they could almost be themselves, save for hiding exactly what they were. Still, in some ways it felt like they never even left. She didn’t give up when they were last here, and now she didn’t have to. She was where she was supposed to be all along—with Edward. She looked to see Edward’s cheesy expression plastered on his face, along with his comment about him having friends before they got married. She playfully slapped him for that comment, before replying. “Yeah the only friends you had were others like the Denali’s...the others had no idea who you really were.” Of course this little banter was stopped before it really even began when he suddenly pulled her down into the sofa along with him, and wrapped his arms around her lightly, as she could feel the touch of him kissing her forehead.

“I agree. But I thought we talked about this. You know how fond I am of my old truck.” She told him and slapped him lightly for him talking about giving their daughter her old truck. “Besides that, you know as well as I do, you would prefer she has a vehicle like yours and the others’ fast and furious.” She grinned as she said it. But of course she was being her usual self, the self she had been when she had been human. It had not completely died even when her heart had stopped beating. A smile appeared on her face moments later. There was no denying that she was happier when Edward was around than at any other moment in her life.

She knew just as much as Edward had, that hunting the way they did was the only course of survival. It was something they both may not ultimately want to do but at least they weren’t hurting anyone, not in the long run. “Well I must say, I’m sorry your friend bailed on you, but at least you’re not here, alone....” She winked as the words flowed effortlessly off of her lips. Still when it came to the Volturi she looked at her husband. “I know, but you know as well as I do that before long we could be right back where we started. I mean not much has changed since our last run in with them. And with Dad being friends with them it only holds a leverage for us too a cerain extent. You and I both know that Aro wouldn’t dare let anything happen to us, at least those of us that have something particularily interesting to offer to his collective. But I do hope you’re right that if we get into a bit of a nasty situation that we’ll have aid, somehow. I’d like to just be students, but you know as well as I do how difficult that is. With everything we know to be going on outside of these walls.....I can’t help but worry. And I know you’re going to say that I worry too much. Which of course you’d be right.” She replied to her husband as she stayed next to him, loving the attention she was getting from him of course. She felt the most safe, the most secure with him by her side.

“But you know I was the perfect student until...you came along.” She teased her husband as she was a far cry from a perfect student but she could act like it once in a while. “I still remember with vivid clarity the times that I snuck out of the house....and how angry Charlie was about it, especially after I’d gotten back from Italy...” She told her husband, though she knew he’d know what she was talking about. About the memory of her and Alice going to Italy to stop Edward from losing his life, his existance, and she had barely made it there in time. Edward still looked the same as he did the first day she met him, but still as handsome as ever. "I love you, Edward. I know you hear that more often than not, but it's nevertheless still true. I can't imagine anything better than this right now. Us...together."

Moments like this, is what people should hold on it, and Edward and Bella are no exception to this. Edward had no way of telling how long this “peace” would last, but for the moment, he was going to make the most of it, and would not let anyone get in the way of allowing him to spend time with his wife and daughter, both of which he loves so much and would die for both of them, if needed.

“Yeah the only friends you had were others like the Denalis the others had no idea who you really were.” Come on now darling.. you know I had more then that, your friends liked me when they first met me right?..” He knew they had mixed feeling, but they do like him now right ?.

“I agree. But I thought we talked about this. You know fond I am of my old truck.” Bella loved her truck almost as much as she did him, but her truck had been in her life longer then Edward had been. So he could understand it, but she really did need to lose the truck. “ Fine Fine.. the truck stays, but please at-least buy a second car, for me. ?”

I know, but you know as well as I do that before long we could be right back where we started. I mean not much has changed since our last run in with them. And with Dad being friends with them it only holds a leverage for us too a cerain extent. “That is what will keep us safe, the fact that we have “Ability’s” that he desires, is the one thing that will keep us safe from harm. Granted does not mean I have to like it, but having the Volturi part of are life, means we are less likely to have to worry about them trying to take what they want. And are dad, is the other reason Aro wont harm us. Dad is Aro's only true friend don’t forget.

"I love you, Edward. I know you hear that more often than not, but it's nevertheless still true. I can't imagine anything better than this right now. Us...together." Edward smiled and kissed her again, even after he got two playful slaps and spoke once more “ Bella.. no one will spilt us up ever again, no time will be enough for us Bella, but lets start with forever.

Maybe i should buy her a new truck?
Or maybe even a trip to Paris for the the family..

She chuckled as she looked at her husband, moments like this, it felt like it did when she and Edward had first gotten together. She remembered all the kinds of looks the two of them had gotten, how Edward had said it didn’t matter because he was going to hell anyway. She enjoyed being alone with him. Yes, she absolutely loved and treasured their family but sometimes it was nice to be with her husband by herself. She loved her husband, there was no questioning that. She wouldn’t be where she was without him. She would be an old woman if it weren’t for him. She wouldn’t be a mother if it weren’t for him. Or a wife either. Both of which when she was much younger had been scary concept for her. But it was the only way could be with Edward forever, was to be a vampire, which was something she had wanted since first learning what he was, and how much she had loved him. She did not know how long the peace would truly last but for the moment she was going to make it work, she was going to enjoy the moment with her husband, as though it could very well be their last. Because she knew that if a war broke out between their coven and the Volturi many lives would be lost, and their two covens would never be the same. She was overly protective of her husband and her daughter, as well as the rest of her family, so she would be willing to die to save them. She would die for any of them should that time come. She didn’t want to die, of course, but if it was either her dying or someone else, she felt it would be better if it was herself dying than someone else.

A smile appeared on her face. “You forget they didn’t know who you were, not really. They don’t know you like I do, Edward. They can’t. They like you, alright, but granted you know most of the girls in school had a crush you, and no matter where we live, no matter on how long we live there....that won’t change.” She told her husband honestly though she knew he only had eyes for her. ”The Denali’s are the closest friends I think we both have, they’re our extended family, that’s why I said they are the only friends you have that actually know who you are...same with all of us really. Unless you want to count the pack....which we both know has it’s difficulties.” Ah yes the Pack did have it’s difficulties though they had proven they could be loyal allies in a fight. Albeit it wasn’t always an easy alliance, as Jacob had proven that time and time again.

Part of the reason she kept the truck, was because it was the connection she had to Charlie, as Charlie had been the one to buy it for her, when she first moved back to Forks when she was seventeen. It was the one thing that she had kept over the years, that had been of use. Sure it wasn’t fast, or fancy but it had done what she had hoped it would. So yes she loved her truck, but she had loved Edward a lot more. Though she hadn’t had the truck too much longer than she had been with Edward. Though Edward often told her that she ought to get rid of the truck and buy a vehicle to match the rest of their family’s in style vehicles. Both of which were fast and furious on the roads. Then again her family members were much more in the fast lane than she was. As a human it had scared her more often than not and it caused her to worry that Edward was going to crash when he drove her around, now at least she understood. That it wasn't going to happen as Edward was a good driver.

“Edward, honey. I don’t need a second vehicle. I know you want me to. Because my old truck isn’t as fast or as nice as yours and our family’s combined, but I’ve—been so used to the truck, I don’t think I could drive anything else. But I promise once it dies, I won’t try and fix it. I’ll let you buy me whatever kind of car you want. Alright?” She knew this was the only compromise she would be willing to do for her husband. Of course she didn’t want him spending money to buy her a new car when she had a reliable car as it was. Yes the truck was old, and she knew that it could die at any time. “And no, you cannot make the truck be inoperable, just because you want it your way.”

She looked at her husband. “Yes but you forget, honey, that not all of us have one. Like Mom and Dad. Or even Emmett and Rosalie. But Jasper, Alice, Renesmee, you and I, we all have it. That is what makes us valuable. You know Aro has always coveted us, especially you and Alice...more so than anyone else. I know we might be safer because of Dad’s friendship with Aro. It may keep us safer, but remember, he’ll never stop trying to collect us, into the Volturi, we both know that. We’re useless if we’re dead, that’s why he wants us alive. But you know I can’t help but worry, irregardless. You know it’s personal after everything we went through in the past. Especially....given what happened with Irina.” She might not have liked what had happened to Irina, but it was due to Irina’s mistake that the Volturi had even targeted them fifty years ago. But in her oppinion Irina hadn’t deserved to die because of it. Mistakes happen, more often than not. She felt Edward kiss her once more and a grin appeared on her face. “I know....and I agree. Let’s start with forever.” She said though she was reminded of their wedding day, and the vows that they had spoken to eachother. All she wanted, all she could have ever dreamed of, was right in front of her, him and their daughter, were everything to her. He seemed to be deep in thought, so she wondered what he was thinking. “What are you thinking about, Mr. Cullen?” She teased him as she continued to sit there with his arms around her.

You forget they didn’t know who you were, not really. They dont know you like I do, Edward they cant. They like you. All right but granted you know most of the girls in school had a crush on you, and no matter where we live, no matter on how long we live... that wont change.

He smiled and kissed his loves four head and spoke in a reassuring tone “ Bella.. yes you are correct. But you have me they do not, they can continue trying to hit on me, but at the end of the day I married you and I never think about others girls, only you. Edward could overhear others around them, talking about all manner of things, most of them where what you would expect to hear in a students mind, even the girls thoughts where random. Something about a school dance and dress shopping... Edward and dancing did not mix, well at least its not something he does unless it is with his wife or daughter.

Edward was afraid he would miss Bella, and then would not get chance to see her again till he got home. But he had worried for nothing. “Edward, honey. I don’t need a second vehicle. I know you want me to. Because my old truck isn’t as fast or as nice as yours and our family’s combined,

Edward smiled as he heard her talk about the end of her truck.. he would never dream of making that time come any sooner.. “That I can live with.. but the moment it breaks, its going to go.. I would never wreck the truck.. its your livelihood correct.” Bella was right, Aro would never forget about them and their gifts, but their father was the only one stopping Aro from taking them by force.

Do not worry love, put it out of your head, if any Volturi come close to my daughter or you... I will rip them to pieces. And buy the way there is school dance coming up, the girls over to the right of us wont shut up about it. I will never understand what girls like about shoes,dresses and stuffed teddies..

She couldn’t help but worry. As a parent it was in her nature. Though it was a little reassuring to have her husband right there, as she could feel him kiss her forehead. She smiled softly as she looked at her husband in his eyes. “I know. For better or worse, you’re stuck with me, forever....Mr. Cullen.” She teased him as she enjoyed being close to him. It felt right, as natural as breathing had once been to her. “Yes, I remember our wedding day....I know you don’t think about other girls. You, my dear husband, are my one true love. We’ve proven that time and time again, haven’t we? You mean everything to me, as does our daughter. You two are what keeps me going. What keeps me sane. Without you two, I don’t know where I would be. I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you. But you, my dear, will be by my side, for the rest of my life.” She did not care what others thought of her and Edward.

No, they were perfect for eachother and that was all that mattered. They had always been able to beat the odds. Students of course were talking about the upcoming school dance. She couldn’t say that she was ready for that, since she was not a dancer. She had to step on Edward’s feet when they had gone to her first prom, when she was still a human. Not much had changed since then as she was still a horrible dancer. Though she figured if Alice was going to the dance, she would have to as well.

Alice usually did all the shopping for those kinds of things, and so she really had no choice. Of course when it came to dancing, she did not dance with anyone other than her wonderfully charming husband. She missed Edward when he was not around her but that was something that had always happened, whenever their classes were in two separate parts of the school. She had known to compromise as she had loved her husband enough to give into what he wanted. She knew he would never dare cause the truck to end it’s existance sooner than necessary.

“Understood, Edward. I agree with you. Would cost too much to fix now anyway. And I know you would never wreck it simply because you could. Yes, for now it’s my livelihood, at least it’s what gets me to and from school when I’m not riding with you.” She told her husband honestly. She knew that Aro would stop at nothing to get them, to collect them into his coven. He’d never stop, wanting to collect them. The only thing stopping it from happening was their father...Carlisle. Without him, Aro would have probably tried to take them by force years ago.

A smirk appeared on her face as she knew how protective Edward was, no matter what. Even though she had a shield, Edward was still protective, given that was how men were from the era he came from. “I wish I could, Edward but I can’t. I’m a parent. So are you. If any Volturi member comes near my daughter they will be asking to be ripped to pieces and burned, just like they did to Irina. Granted I’d have loved to have done something like that to them years ago, but you know I couldn’t. I know, about the dance. One of my classmates told me abot it. Asked who I was going with. Told them of course I was going with you. They were so jealous, it was funny. It’ll be okay Edward, once the bell rings they’ll probably go to their next class. I know what a pain it is to have all those voices in your head all of the time, and I don’t know how you do it.” She said as she turned her attention to the right, seeing one of the girls look in their direction. “Don’t look at me, that’s Alice’s department not mine. Given you saw how she put together our wedding. Not to mention what she does for our birthdays.” She girnned when she thought about it, especially when she thought of their wedding.

Edward smiled again as he heard bells speak of their wedding, it was something special and he would never forget how Bella looked in her wedding dress. He would kiss her again and would speak saying.

“How can anyone forget how wonderful you looked in your dress, at first I could not believe I was marrying such a wonderful women. But then I felt your kiss on my skin and I knew it was not a dream, and yes we will be stuck with one another for all time Miss Cullen.”

“I wish I could, Edward but I can’t. I’m a parent. So are you. If any Volturi member comes near my daughter they will be asking to be ripped to pieces and burned, just like they did to Irina. Granted I’d have loved to have done something like that to them years ago, but you know I couldnt.

“ Yes I would not let you do anything to any of them. But Aro knows better then to attack openly us; after all a part of him wants to keep Nessy safe and for that fact alone no harm will come to her. Aro may be ruthless and cold, but he does have some honor.”

And this dance. Alice will have a field day with it she does like to shop for dances and proms and whatever else she wants to dress for. But you know you like riding with me..the wind in your hair and the way I take corners, you live for the daredevil side of just like I do.

The truth was that there was not enough time to explain to Edward what he meant to her. She remembered all their ups and downs...but it had still ended up the way it was meant to. Even if she had been a bundle of nerves the day she walked down that aisle toward him. But all she could think of was he was there, that it was truly real. And only when they kisssed did it finally seep in just how real it was. There was no more worrying that he would leave and never come back....he was there to stay, and she was there for him. Of course it had come as a shock that she was pregnant. She didn’t understand how that was even possible. Not even Carlisle had heard about something like that happening before.

Even with the risks and all it was all worth it to have that little girl...that little girl bound the two of them even closer than most their age. It wasn’t just because they were married, or even having been in love, but they were parents now. And there was no stronger bond than that of a parent to a child in her oppinion. She lived every day for her family, for her husband, daughter and the rest of their family. Extended and all. Not a day went by that she didn’t get some reminder of not only their wedding day but the days when they were in Isle Esme. A honeymoon paradise. It was absolutely stunning.

“There were days when, I didn’t....know what the future held....when....you had left, when all of you had left, I felt this hole that I couldn’t understand. Even now, there’s no words to describe what that was like. To not know where you were, if you guys were safe. I had the nightmares, and the...fears...and while I know you and Jacob will never see eye to eye you both had saved my life in ways that most here could not even understand. I thought it was all a dream, when you came back, like every day I had to literally see that you were in front of me, before I really believed it. I remember our wedding day very well. How nervous I was....how I told Charlie I didn’t want to fall and embarrass myself in front of all those people. I was...so nervous...up until I saw you standing there...waiting for me. Seeing your face, Edward, it was as though everyone else disappeared, like it was just you and me. And it was in that moment that I knew we would be okay. That even with everything that there had been against us that...we’d figure it out....somehow...someway. I know it’ll never be easy for us. Because of the way our lives are, how many rules there are to follow, but I wouldn’t change a thing. We have eternity together.” She spoke and when she did she felt her husband kiss her again which only caused her to smile more. It was his touch, his being around that made her feel whole, complete, and more alive than she had ever been at any previous moment in her life.

“I know you wouldn’t and it’s the one thing I love about you. You’ve always been so protective over me, over our daughter. Even if Aro knows better than to attack us openly, we both kow there is a risk when it comes to the ball. I have a feeling he’s going to use it to recruit those of us who are special. And it won’t just be our family that takes a hit, the Denali’s would too. I’m just scared Edward. And it takes alot to scare me. Even if Aro wants to keep her safe, Edward....there’s no telling about the others. You know what they are capable of as much as I do. I know that he wants the ball to go off without a hitch. And I know that he’ll have Jane and Alec to make sure it does. I just hope it doesn’t come to that.” When it came to this ball she was as nervous about it as Esme was. There was a good reason for it too. It still made her nervous though she tried her best to hide how nervous it made her as she knew it would not do any good to work herself up over it. Whatever was going to happen was going to happen and they had all best be prepared for it when it happens.

“Alice will definitely have a field day with the preparations you know as well as I do she lives for it, as does Rosalie. You know she likes to slip things into my wardrobe that I wouldn’t normally wear. Especially when these kind of events come up.” She grinned reminding herself of the first prom she and Edward had gone to together. And what an expriance it was, even if she couldn’t dance. “Of course I like riding with you. My love....you have a daredevil side. More so than anyone in this room and I love you for it. I do....and while I don’t mind riding in the fast lane, I’m also a parent, and can’t help but take precautions when it’s all I’ve ever known or been. Living with Charlie and Mom I couldn’t exactly be the wild and free kind of woman that most my age certainly have done. But I’ll admit...I still remember when I was with Jake riding those dirt bikes.....and how I lived for it...the speed and the way it worked....as did jumping off that cliff. It was a rush. An adrenaline rush. Because when you and the others where gone.....Edward, I don’t know how....but I saw you just as I see you before me. I can’t explain how it all worked....but I guess it must have been through our connection. We always did have a connection even from the start.” She chuckled. “you know I think the one thing that sticks out in my mind the most is when you and Jacob were fighting in our front yard before you and I got married and Charlie came out to split you two up. I thought he was about to have a heart attack right there. Granted if you had truly wanted to tear eachother apart there would have been little that Charlie could have done in order to stop it.” She told her husband smiling as she kissed him once more. “There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think how lucky I am...to still be alive...to have such a gorgeous husband and our beautiful little girl. You know it may be said that we’re damned because of what we are...but I don’t think so. We have a wonderful tight knit family, and not even most families are as close as ours, even if we do get into fights sometimes.” She smiled as she said it.

I have a feeling he is going to use it to recruit those of us who are special. Edward looked at her and spoke again trying to reassure her about what she was feeling.

“If Aro wanted to try to recruit us, he would know throw this ball. It would simpler for him to come to take us. I think he has other plans in mind for this ball; but Jasper is going to be helping Aro, so he should be able to watch them encase they make a move on our family.” Edward knew, Aro would never stop his quest to collect his family.

But what if Edward agreed with join them, it would be one sure fire way to make sure their never collected ever again. Edward would be willing to make that choice, to protect his family and that even scared him, but when it comes to Bella and Nessy, as-long as Aro did not force him to drink human blood and agreed with his conditions.

Edward had been thinking of the idea for some time, in joining Aro he would ensure the well-being of his family and keep his sister Alice safe from the Volturi. But he would have to do it with some tact, if he just told Bella what he thought, she would try to talk him out of it. Deep down Edward knew the power he would hold, would allow him to keep his family safe for the rest of their life, but in doing so may make them hate him. But they would understand his reasons.

“Well this prom will be good for us my love, we can dance and just be a proper couple, without all the worry and hassle we carry with us day to day. smiles and kisses her again, Maybe joining the Volturi was a smart idea after all. Only time would tell if he would do it. And it scared him that deep down part of him wanted to have the power they had to keep his family safe.”

She had loved her husband and there was no denying that she would forever love him. She worried of course, when she had been human it had been worse because she did not fully understand the extent of the danger that this family put themselves in, now that she did it only made her understand and appreciate things better. She had loved him all the way, even when he had been an idiot and had left her behind in order to spare her from the fear of being hurt or killed. But it had brought them even closer in the end. “When you left, I had nightmares. All the worst things imaginable went through my head. I thought you hated me, that you wanted nothing to do with me, and that alone hurt more than you not being there. Back then I was myself, even if I went to Jacob, he helped save my life....because without him there, I don’t think I would have had the strength to keep going, to keep living the way I was able to.” She sighed knowing he didn’t like it when she talked like that.

”Yes my love, it did. We were able to reunite and luckily our love was strong enoough to overcome any obstacle, even with the Volturi breathing down our necks. God I remember being so afraid when Alice told me that you had gone to the Volturi, thinking I had died. I didn’t know if I would have made it to you in time and that....I would have lost you. And that...I couldn’t bare even then. I know it doesn’t make any sense, how we fell for eachother when we did, and as quickly as we did. But I’ve always believed that everything happens for a reason even if that reason isn’t always understood. Something Charlie taught me actually. Gran taught me that as well.” She could tell that Edward was trying to reassure her that they would be alright but she couldn’t help but get a bit more worried given what subject they were dealing with. She shook her head as she looked at her husband.

“Yes but sweetheart the ball is perfect for doing it, it enables him to get all the covens together that he wants, and then he can pick and choose who he wants. This would give him the perfect oppertunity. Espcially if he is hoping for a big recruitment. I know that Aro could also come and take us if he wanted to, but I think he is waiting for the time when we choose to go to him in all actuality. I don’t obviously like the fact that Jasper is going to be helping him. I don’t. I know Alice doesn’t either. But what choice do we have? I’ll put up a shield if I have to, when the ball comes, because I will not stand by and watch as our family falls apart, Edward I can’t. I’ve already lost my human family, I won’t stand by and watch as I lose this one as well.” It was the honest truth she was absolutely afraid of it.

She did not know what her husband was thinking but she was absolutely terrified of what he would be thinking of, what he could come up with. If she had known what he was thinking she’d have probably gotten up and left the room out of the sheer stupidity of it. “I can only hope so. I’ll have to see what Alice has in store for me to wear, you know I’m not good at dancing. Since when have we ever been a proper couple? I mean to everyone around us, outside of this family we’re this complicated family unit, where we have all these siblings that are dating eachother and that our daughter is not our daughter. I wish things could be a bit more simple though I do understand the reasons why we can’t openly parent her here. She’s gotten so big, already, kind of makes me wish for the days when she was a baby. She grew up so fast, Edward.” She replied as she leaned in and kissed him. When it came to the Volturi, she did not trust them at all, and she never would. But she would follow her husband anywhere he went. Her shield was up around the two of them for the time being. "I really hope this ball goes smoothly I'd hate to have another confrontation with them. Who knows if we'd all walk out of there alive? I can not let anything happen to them." She thought to herself.
