Right, so, this might be a bit long, but bear with me here!
maggie & asela
asela's a nomad, and she travels a lot, so maybe her coven or just her met the irish coven at one point? maggie can also sense lies, so whether or not she'd know or have an inkling about asela's gift is up to you ;3 i think their personalities would mesh well, given the chance, and i think they could be friends.
nikolai & asela
nikolai strikes me as the type to get along more with asela's keepers, but he could have met asela through them as well. he's a notorious purveyor of "things"--namely, whatever the person paying him wants him to get, or secure. he could have provided them with legal documents as they travelled, etc. he's was an aristocrat for his human life, so he's very professional, so maybe more acquaintances than friends?

urhi was a nomad for a long, long time--he had a habit of joining covens and then leaving them, and he still has that habit, to be honest--and he's met many other vampires and covens in his travels. he didn't go back to egypt or syria or any of those places much after the ancient civilisations collapsed, so it's possible they've at least run into each other before. maybe they'd be acquaintances, too? he's fairly easy to get along with.

i can see that happening as well! maggie would likely remark on how silly it was that people treated them like actual teenagers, even though they're both centuries of years old. though liam and siobhan often use maggie when they discuss things to tell whether others are lying to them or not. and, ooh, that'd be neat! maggie'd be able to shed some light on alec as well.

nikolai could do that. he has ties with the volturi themselves, as aro often uses him for things, something he makes aro (and other high-ranking vamps) pay handsomely for. he also doesn't betray the confidence of those who employ him--it's bad for business if people think you'll sell their secrets to the highest buyer. he'd likely not charge her, either, especially if the questions she asks him are considered to be more public knowledge.

either could work! urhi doesn't like staying with one group too long--it's a side effect from the at least two thousand years he spent wandering--so the idea that he could have joined up with asela's group at one point is definitely plausible. he's currently part of a coven called the foiseil coven, which he literally just walked into and hasn't left yet, though sometimes he just up and leaves the properly for days or weeks at a time without warning. i can see him and atticus not getting along, as urhi's rather blunt when he's displeased with something, and he's also a bit impatient. urhi and asela definitely could have been friends, though, as he can be fairly pleasant company, and he's generally willing to answer any questions asked, with atticus might also have disliked. whether or not asela had a crush is up to you, but i'd definitely like to thread these two at one point.
