SOMETIMES I FIND IT HARD• to believe there's someone else who could be •JUST AS MESSED UP AS MEwhere in the world had everyone gone? time, though it was limitless for seth, still moved so fast. his old friends were dead and gone, and since he hadn't aged a day since his first shift, the young boy had been forced to stay out of public eye. no one stayed looking like a fifteen year old boy for forever, and though he didn't quite look fifteen because of his height and build, it was still suspicious that he still looked so young at sixty-five.
so no school. seth didn't mind that part of it. he'd graduated once already, finished high school. did not want to go back. but he missed having friends, making new ones, just being around people in general. sure, he had jake and leah and his pack, and sam's pack, and even a few of the cullens, but none of them were his age. collin and brady were close, but they were too close-knit to let a third join them.
he spent a lot of time on his own because of it, usually in his animal form. it was easier then, no one able to recognize him somehow. he stuck to the forest and kept to himself. but every once and a while, when the weather was nice, like it was today, and the waves were calm, like it was today, seth went down to first beach. the beach was emptier on those days, since the humans saw the beach only as surf spot, not a sun spot.
unlike others his age --his apparent age, not his physical-- seth enjoyed the quiet. it was somewhat ironic, since he was usually the one making noise when he was around others. but by himself, seth wanted to only hear his surroundings. the soft sound of waves crashing and the breeze rushing past his face, faraway voices laughing from down the beach: that's what he wanted to hear. he closed his dark eyes, breathing in the salty air. humans couldn't feel the beach like he could, and they were missing out. it was incredibly peaceful.
crunching sounds came from his right, the sound of footsteps in the sand. someone was coming near him, but seth didn't bother to open his eyes or look up. it wasn't a shifter --he could tell by the scent-- so whoever it was would most likely just walk on past.

Snakebite Heart, with a bubblegum smile! - - - - - - - - - - Another sunny day in beautiful Forks. Savan was beginning to really like it here. Although it did rain 90% of the time, the more that she explored the more it grew on her. She had heard some people at school say about a beach in La Push, so she had decided that that would be her next adventure. She had no idea what to expect as she drove down to La Push. It was a lush green forest scenery. It reminded her so much like Scotland. She did miss Scotland so much. Only the scenery not her life there. Scotland was basically the double of Forks but there it rained 99% of the time. It was very rare to get a nice day in Scotland but that was what made it all the more beautiful. The lush green highlands and the beautiful historic castles. She sighed at the thought of it. Perhaps one day she would make it there.
Concentrating on the winding road she frowned, her soft expression changing to that of a harsh one. She pushed her sunglasses from her blue eyes in frustration and looked for road signs. Although most major cities in America were well signposted, La Push was not. She growled to herself in frustration and decided to pull up. Tapping into her GPS where she wanted to go, she almost hit the dash with frustration. It was just round the corner! Savan was intelligent, but she had very little sense of direction. Pushing the black land rover back into gear she followed the road round and took a right, finding herself right on the beach she shook her had and sighed once more. Pushing the long raven locks from her face she parked up and grabbed her bag.
She applied just a little more nude lipgloss and then fixed her hat to her head. She hadn't known what to expect for the beach so she had just pieced together anything she could find. She wore a turquoise, floral pattered dress that hugged her slim frame and enhanced her body. She teamed it with nude wedges and lots of nude accessories. She could have been a model. But in her own eyes, she was barely passable. Her self esteem failed her every time. She walked onto the sand and instantly regretted her shoe choice. She did love the wedges but they were Steve Mcqueen and cost a pretty penny. Not that she ever bothered about material things, they were a present from her parents. But she didnt want to ruin them. The sand seemed to hard for the pricey shoes.
She wasnt going to let that stop her so she pressed on. Walking through the rough sand she noticed it wasnt really a nice beach for sun bathing. She didn't care really she was just going to set down her towel and turn to the book that she had brought. Smiling to herself she looked for the best place. As she walked she noticed a teenage boy lying in the sand. She was quite shy but where he was lying seemed like a great spot. She wasn't going to be rude, so decided to talk to him and see if she could join him. "Hello? Is it okay if I join you?" She still carried her Scottish accent with her from her childhood. It wasnt very noticeable but just sometimes when she said certain words. This time it just seemed to shine through as if she was back in Scotland. - - - - - - - - - - TAG ?! - Seth OUTFIT ?! - Here NOTES ?! - Hope its okay ^^

SOMETIMES I FIND IT HARD• to believe there's someone else who could be •JUST AS MESSED UP AS MEso they had stopped. or she had. seth opened his eyes and looked up towards her. she looked older than him, but he of all people knew that appearances coudl be decieving. and she was pretty. no, not pretty: stunning. he propped himself up onto his elbows and shook out his hair, trying to get rid of the bits of sand that clung to him.
'i uh... no, i don't mind. you can sit here, it's cool.' god, why did he have to sound so awkward? it wasn't like he had much of a chance with this girl, but he didn't have to ruin it right away! he ran a hand through his hair, and smiled, his cheeks tinging pink. in his long perpetual teenaged life, he'd never had a girlfriend. never imprinted like the lucky (or were they really? having to watch their imprint grow old and die?) few. he just wasn't that great with girls. or people in general, really. always the annoying tag-along pup of the pack.
and it wasn't like he was looking for a relationship with whoever she was. he'd almost completely given up on finding love. if it fell into his lap, he'd take it, but for the most part, seth was happy being single.
'i'm seth, by the way,' he added, a little late. if they'd be sitting in the sun together, talking or not (though he decided that if she didn't talk and it just got awkward, he'd leave) they should at least know each other's names, right?

She smiled softly as he said she could sit beside him, taking her towel from her bag she laid it gently on the sand and lowered herself down on it. She unhooked the nude straps from her ankle and put them at her side beside the bag. He looked quite young but not too young, she didnt want to make him uncomfortable or anything thats why she asked if she could sit next to him. Also he was lying in what seemed like the best spot of the beach and it was just polite to ask if she could sit beside him.
Savan had been brought up with morals, well when she had been given to her adoptive parents. It was like she had walked into a completely different world. She had been kept off of school for a further year so her parents could ease her into basic living. Reteach her everything so she would not feel inferior to the other children. She had had a home tutor and caught up really quickly. She was a clever little thing. Her parents had been so happy to see that she was clever, they had thought they would have to put a lot of work in but Savan had jumped at the chance of her knew life and did everything she could to make the most of it. Even if it meant working her ass off for twelve months without break.
"Thanks" She turned towards him and smiled. He looked pretty embarrassed. "I'm Savan. It's nice to meet you Seth." She pushed her sunglasses from her face and flashed him a gleaming white smile. Her scottish accent was still very prominent. "It's such a lovely day. Are you not out with your friends?" She wondered why he was all alone. Most boys his age traveled in packs. They wouldnt leave the house without their friends. Savan had no experience of boys other than her sadistic father. But she did not let that ruin ever boys image. She gave them a chance and if they blew it that was it.
