Chelsea is a very lovely soul, although she is one of the volturi’s high ranked guards she is completely the opposite of everyone else. She has a very open, friendly personality. She is the type of person to talk you to death and enjoys being the centre of attention. She is a free spirit almost, disappearing when she wants to and appearing again when she is needed. She hates feeling confined.
She is very loyal to her masters, particularly Aro who is her sire. She would do anything he asked her to do even if it was completely against what she felt. She likes feeling important, as she keeps Marcus from leaving and keeps most of the guard feeling as loyal as they do. Her looks are her everything, she is very self conscious and does all she can to look good.
She can be seen as high maintenance from time to time and can be accused of being selfish. She has many failures and her temper is one of them. She can go from friendly to angry in seconds, and when she is angry she goes for it, full out diva. She can also be very nasty when she wants to be. She hates feeling inferior and when people tease her for the limitations of her powers she goes all out crazy.

Chelsea was born on the 23rd of November 1000 BC in the island of Milos, one of the Cyclades Islands in Greece. Her mother Adema was the princess of the island at the time (her parents ruled the island), she was married to Idomeneus a royal advisor on the consent of her father. Adema had only just turned 16 when she married her 23 year old husband, but the brides were always young back in those days. They conceived their daughter on their wedding night, and she was born when her mother was still only 16, they named their daughter Adina. She grew up in a very privileged household, always got everything she wanted and had to look her best at all times as she was the crowned princess and would take over the throne once her parents passed.
Adina refused to marry young like her parents; she cared more about herself and did not want to be tied down. She was very academic like her father; he made sure that she was literate. He did not want his only child to not have an education. She also had the uncanny knack to get her own way and pull people to her side and see her way. Adina never wanted siblings and her parents respected that and raised her as a kind and caring princess. However she had many flaws, she was very selfish and self centred. She did not like to share her parents, or anything else for that matter. However as her parents grew older they knew their daughter had to marry. They set her up with a prince from an adjoining Island hoping that she would agree as she would be able to continue her extravagant lifestyle. Although she agreed to the marriage initially she refused to walk down the aisle with him. With this refusal her fiance’s family declared war on her mother and father. Adina knew of the threat and still refused to marry him. Dymas (her fiancé) came with his army and tore apart the castle that she lived in. Murdering her parents in front of her he took her as his prisoner and attempted to force her hand. However she had many loyal subjects that had also been taken as prisoners. There was one male in particular who understood how she felt and helped her escape from the island where she was kept captive.
Adina had no idea what to do with her life anymore as she was no longer a princess with an extravagant life. She was an escapee from war. Her saviour helped her to the Greek mainland but then left her. She had little but the clothes and jewels on her back. She only managed to get as far as far as southern Italy as she had paid to be smuggled on a boat. When she arrived in Italy she realised how desolate her situation was and had no idea how to make money. She soon realised that a lot of males found her attractive and found herself in the prostitution trade. She never gave herself away but danced and showed herself for money. One night after returning home from work she was attacked by a male, he raped her and left her for dead.
As she lay in a pool of her own blood slowly dying she found a pale male in front of her. However she passed out before she was able to speak to the male. The next thing she knew was burning pain. When she woke she found herself with the same male beside her. He had saved her life and explained what he had done to save her. She realised her uncanny knack of getting people on her side was actually her power. She was able to alter relationships at her own will; however she soon discovered that she was unable to alter strong relationships. As Aro saved her life she promised him that she would always be loyal to him. Aro had explained that he was beginning a group named the Volturi and needed her for her powers. He also explained that his co-ruler had just lost his wife and was having a hard time. He had told Adina that he needed her to bind Marcus to them and also Caius. Soon after she had been turned so found the young male that had helped her escape her captors, she learned his name and in turn for him helping her gave him the gift of immortality. They soon grew to love each other and became mates. Afton agreed to join the volturi only because Chelsea did so.
Adina soon changed her name to Charmion when she began her life with the volturi. She practiced her powers a lot on humans and studied human relationships from a far. As she was doing this she had to be very careful not to be found out. She changed her hair color, and wore different contacts every few years. She also changed her name to Chelsea at the beginning of the century. She used her powers on all the Volturi members keeping them loyal and bound to Aro. She strengthened their relationship with Aro and made them want to stay. She did this to repay Aro for saving her life. In turn Aro was very lenient with her and allowed her to slip away and return when she felt like it. She had found her knew vampire life a great opportunity to be free and do what she wanted.
In the present Chelsea and Afton still actively works for Aro, she stops by every couple of days to make sure the bonds between them all were still strong and help bound new guards to Aro. She has calmed down a lot as she has matured, however she is still the same girl on the inside. She is very loyal to Aro, and lives in Volterra with the Volturi but travels whenever she feels like it. She has a strong hatred of the Cullen’s due to her failed bonding of them to Aro. She particularly hates Bella and her stupid shield, she hates to be undermined and feels that the Cullen’s showed her up on the battle field, so now holds a personal vendetta against them.

Chelsea sighed softly she had been sitting in the same human bar now for well over an hour. Her long dark hair hung down her hourglass frame, her pretty face framed with huge designer sunglasses. She had been pulling apart two humans for a while now. She had caused them to hate each other and then quickly love each other again. In her opinion it had been pretty fun but after a while she grew bored of them. She was really looking for a more difficult challenge. She wanted to see if she could pull apart a vampire couple. Of course from experience she knew she couldn’t but that would not stop her trying. She had never stopped trying since she had confronted the Cullens. She had been so mad that she had been showed up by that stupid newborns shield. Nobody made her look bad.
She flipped her hair over her shoulder and hid a growl. The sun had just gone down and she was glad she did not have to wear the big stupid cloak anymore. Sometimes she resented being a vampire because she could not openly walk round in the gorgeous Italian sun without being noticed and causing panic. As much as Aro was lenient with her he would punish her if she showed herself so freely. Pushing the heavy cloak into her bag she brushed her knee length white summer dress down as she stood up. Balancing precariously on huge Louboutin shoes, she decided to take the long walk back to the castle. She had promised to check in every couple of days to make sure that the bonds were still strong. Not that she ever doubted they wouldn’t be. But since Aro seemed to be taking so many new people in it was getting difficult to keep up with him.
She walked slowly through the paved streets. Her heels clacking as she went. It was still warm enough for humans to be walking about. She had mastered her thirst long ago as she studied humans a lot. Sure she still fed off human blood but she was not a slavering monster whenever she came near one. She could pass as a human quite easily. Well a very beautiful human. She swung her bag softly at her side and smiled softly. She would treat herself tomorrow by laying out in the volturi grounds if it was as lovely and hot as this. Of course it would be it was Italy. She was quite excited to see Aro, it had been a few days but she liked to regularly keep up with him and check in. Even when she did disappear for longer than a couple of days, she always came back and told him all her stories. She knew secretly he enjoyed her long winded stories. She licked her lips, and cursed herself as she had smudged her lipstick. Stopping she balanced her bag on the brick wall and grabbed inside for her red lipstick. She quickly applied it and went on her way. She didn’t realise how quick she had walked, not vampire speed but fast for a human.
She was already outside the Volturi headquarters. Pushing open the doors she quickly disappeared inside. ”Hello Felix.” She smirked at him and lowered her designer glasses. She enjoyed teasing all the male guards. It was just fun. Of course she was lovely to all of them, she did tease them sometimes but she was mostly nice to them all. Well everyone that was in Aro’s good books anyway. If Aro was angry with someone, Chelsea tried her best to mimic his feeling an given them the cold shoulder for a while.
