AFTON VOLTURI
Afton is Chelsea's mate. He saved her when he was a human from her human fiance Dymas, who murdered her parents and took her as prisoner as she refused to marry him. He helped her escape to mainland Greece and then disappeared for a couple of years. After Chelsea was turned into a vampire, she stumbled upon him and gave him the gift of immortality for saving her. They soon fell in love and have been inseparable ever since. He is a member of the Volturi guard but only agreed to join and stay loyal as Chelsea vowed to stay loyal to Aro after he saved her from death. They are very rarely apart. They share a strong bond, a bond that Chelsea would never dare influence with her powers.
