Friendly – Jacob is a really lovely genuine guy. He will talk to just about anyone and makes friends very easily. He is very easy to get on with and a very good friend. He is playful and carrying and will look out for anyone he calls a friend.
Childish – Jacob can come across as a playful puppy. He enjoys running around and playing games as much as the next child, particularly due to his lack of childhood. He enjoys playing pranks on people. His childishness can be his downfall sometimes as he almost lacks the capacity to accept things.
Hot Headed – Jacobs temper is one of his biggest downfalls. He can often find himself angry over the slightest thing and takes a long time to cool down. He dislikes his temper himself and knows how bad he can get. When in this state he can come across as sarcastic and obnoxious.
Loyal – Like his wolf he is very loyal. Jacob would stand by anyone he deems as friends of family no matter what even if it did mean death. He is especially loyal to Nessie as he has stood by her since the day she was born being everything she has ever needed of him.
Cheerful – Jacob can often light up a room with his jokes and playfulness. He is often cheerful, and is a very optimistic soul.

Jacob Ephraim Black was born on the 14th of January 1990 to parents Sarah and Billy Black, he was the long awaited son of the elder of the Quileute tribe. The day he was born Billy Black was the happiest he had ever been, he now had an heir to pass his title down to. Jacob is the youngest of three children, his older sisters Rachel and Rebecca were both twins. Growing up Jacob had a brilliant childhood, his parents and siblings loved him very much. His sisters often teased him and tried to dress him up as a girl but his father refused it. He was particularly drawn to his mother as she spent all her time with him as well as painting. He doted on his mother and grew up very much under her wing. However at the tender age of nine he lost his mother in a car accident. One that was so particularly gruesome that the coffin was nailed shut so no one could see her mangled remains. Jacob dealt with his mother’s death better than his father expected, however his daughters did not. Unable to continue living where their mother was killed, as soon as they were old enough, found ways to leave La Push. Soon after Sarah’s death Billy had to quit work as his diabetes was progressing and confound him to a wheelchair. During this time Jacob cared for his father. He never once complained as he loved his father dearly and did not mind being his sole carer.
As Jacob got older he continued to care for his father and attend school. Although he was never interested in school he continued to go for both his parents’ sake. However during his free time he would rebuild old cars and motors to fill up the time. He had crossed paths with Bella Swan when he was a young child, but when she returned to Forks Jacob felt comfort in her. He soon had a crush on her. As his relationship with Bella grew, as did the uncertainty of the Cullen’s. His father had often spoken about them when they first moved to town. Jacob knew of the legends of his people as his father constantly drilled them into his head; however he was reluctant to accept them. Jacob was wary of the Cullen’s mostly due to his love for Bella. He jumped at the chance to console her when they skipped town but soon he felt he was unable to be around her. His father’s stories were true and Jacob became a shifter. He was unhappy at first, reluctant to have had such a gift bestowed upon him. He just wanted to be a normal teenage boy. However with time Jacob grew to love his wolf, and enjoyed being part of a pack. Although he was close to his siblings growing up it was different with his wolf pack. Jacob soon found himself in the midst of his father’s tales. His hatred for the Cullen’s began to grow when he first transformed, knowing it was their fault that he had turned into a werewolf. He also harbored a hatred for Edward as Jacob felt he had stolen Bella from him. Jacob sided with the Cullen’s over Victoria as he wanted to protect Bella and get a chance to kill vampires. Jacob grew within himself and became a man. He still wanted Bella as his own but soon found she had agreed to marry Edward. With this information Jacob felt he had to get away. For the first time he left his father on his own and took the time for himself, he allowed himself to become his wolf and learn from it. He was reluctant to return but did so to please Bella on her wedding day. His anger soon returned as he found out that they were going to consummate their marriage while she was still human. Jacobs rage reached its peak and again he left. He was unable to face the fact that Bella was going to become a vampire and leave him. During this time Jacob also stood up to Sam. Jacob had refused his natural position as Alpha when he first joined the pack but felt he could no longer be ruled under Sam, so he left the pack and became his own Alpha.
Jacob pulled himself together once more and went back to Bella to find her pregnant. He wanted her to rid herself of the monster but she refused. As he felt strongly for her he remained by her side even when Edward did not. Jacob took slight joy in seeing Edward the way he was. However he still protected Bella and the Cullen’s when Sam came to kill them. Jacob had planned to kill the baby himself, after he saw Bella’s lifeless body. However found that he could not. He imprinted on the child, and thus made a promise to love and protect the child for as long as he lived. Jacob soon found that he no longer felt anything for Bella but in fact it was her child that had drew him to her. Jacob stood up for himself when Bella unleashed her rage, but survived to tell the tale. Again he sided with the Cullen’s against the Volturi when they came to kill Nessie.
Jacob’s life now revolves around Renesmee. He cares for her and loves her in more ways that she knows. Although she does not quite see him as a mate yet he continues to wait by her side until she does. He continues to live in La Push with his pack, and lives in harmony with Sam’s pack. Although he is unable to age he refuses to return to school and continues to restore cars as a way to make money. Jacob lost his father in 2020 and found it very hard to cope. Although he kept face that he was okay, he found himself in a deep depression. He wandered around in his wolf for a period of a couple of weeks, only resurfacing for Nessie. Although his father’s death was forty years ago he is still unable to come to terms with it and often finds himself depressed. He still remains in contact with his sisters as they too know of the magic in the family, however he fears he will lose them too very soon.

The forest was alive with the sounds of wildlife, as it always was at night. Jacob had grown tired of watching late night television so decided to go for a run. He often found himself just running, mostly to ease the pain due to the loss of his father. He had coped well with his mother’s death but partly due to his young age and the fact his father was right there for him. He had been his father’s carer from the tender age of 10 all the way up until his death forty years ago. His father had depended on him. Needed him. But now Jacob needed his father. Family was everything to him and his biggest fear was losing them all. But he knew that with time it would happen. Sometimes he hated being a shifter because he was unable to age naturally like his family. It was hard seeing them all age and he just stay in the body of an eighteen year old. But it was something he was willing to do for Nessie.
Sighing to himself he changed course and headed towards the Cullen house. It was strange that only sixty years ago he was unable to just walk up to the Cullen house. There had been a border in place to prevent them from entering into each other’s lands. But now there was no border. Both the wolves and the Cullen’s lived in harmony now. Well if you could call it that. Jacob often felt that some of the Cullen’s resented him. Particularly Edward. But he had never done a thing wrong. He had stayed by Nessie, never lifted a finger to her. He had been whatever she needed - a brother, a friend. But never anything more than that. It was hard. Hard on him. But he did it and still does. Even when he found out that Seth and Nessie were dating. He found it hard not to go find Seth and rough him up a bit but he knew that this was what Nessie wanted an in time would come to him.
Jacob felt like he was struggling at the moment with his life. He felt useless. He knew that the Cullens would be attending a ball in Italy with the Volturi and he was unable to go as he was a shifter. He was unable to protect Nessie and that was one of his biggest fears. He had to protect her. If anything happened to her he would never be able to forgive himself even if he was unable to attend. He had begged and pleaded with Bella to allow him to go to Italy just to be close but the others would not allow it. It was 'too dangerous'. He did not care for his own life as long as Nessie was okay. But he knew it was never a possibility. He just had to sit on his hands and pray that nothing would happen. But that was easier said than done.
He had came to love the Cullen's, he had traveled with them when they had moved around so he could be with Nessie. They had showed him compassion when he thought it was impossible. They had even stood by him when his father died, they knew how hard it was for him. The Cullen's were basically his family now and he accepted that, but some of them did not. He found he got on a lot better with the majority of them but Edward still had a dislike of him. Jake had now turned it into a joke, he used it to wined up Edward from time to time. But he did not do it often as he knew when not to push it. Jacob sighed to himself as he arrived outside the house. He could hear he heart fluttering away at its high speed. This was what he lived for. His Nessie.
