the blond was sprawled across the bed she shared with emmett on her stomach, her laptop inches above her head. emmett'd said something about traveling the world a while back and he'd seemed serious. and so rose was going to take him up on it.
there was so much of the world to see and while they had literally forever to see it all, rosalie knew that neither her nor her mate wanted to be away from their coven and family for too long. so she'd have to narrow down where they'd all go. rose had been searching the web for the last few hours, scanning through travel blogs to find the best cities in the world.
they'd already been to italy, and she'd seen enough of volterra to last her a lifetime, but em'd said he'd wanted to visit rome and pisa. and romania, to go see those two freaks who'd came to 'help out' when the whole nessie fiasco had gone down. so they had three places at least, but three stops on a world trip was hardly enough.
london was always a good choice, though it was full of tourists. but they would be tourists, just better looking and not as tacky. so london, maybe. at least there they wouldn't have to worry about the sun...
that was perhaps the hardest part of planning their trip. the sunnier parts of the world were pretty much off-limits except for night-life or else they'd risk showing their true selves. stupid, useless, sparkling skin.
with a bored moan, rose turned herself over, flipping onto her back and stretching out. even vampires could only take so much research until they got tired of it, or at least rosalie did. she could hear the others milling around the house, and, since he hadn't told her otherwise, figured emmett was down their too. propping herself up to her elbows, she called for her mate, her voice barely more than a whisper. he'd hear her even from the other side of the house: his hearing, like everyone else's in the house, was just that great.
