The small clearing that Jasper found himself in was one of his favorite places in all of Forks, it was perfectly positioned in the middle of nowhere and people very rarely were anywhere near this area except on hunting days, which meant here he could be at peace. Away from the emotions of the people around him, the constant need to keep everyone calm and peaceful here he could just relax. There was an overturned tree which Jasper sat on cross legged breathing in the silence that filled his mind, when ever he needed to get away this was where he came, when the pains of the world, of his family and of his past became to much this was where he hid. It had taken him years to find the exact spot that was the perfect distance from civilization, the wind blew in the opposite direction making him harder for his family to track him here and it was so peaceful the only noise came from the occasional bird, so there was no thirst for blood from the people or animals around him.
Here Jasper felt he could be himself more than anywhere else, rolling his sleeves up, he lay back down on the log putting his hands behind his head, here there was no one to see the bite marks or the scratches, the evil that he had once been. Sometimes he wondered what he would have been if not for Alice, what would have happened to him if he had not left Maria and searched for a new life away from the violence, pain and suffering. What would have happened to him? These thoughts weighed on his mind majority of the time especially when he was alone and there was nothing else to feel he could still feel the fear of the newborns that he had murdered, it was something he knew he would never be able to run away from. He slowly rubbed his neck feeling the deep scars engraved into it from the hundred of fight he had been in, all the newborns that had tried to tear his head off and had come dangerously close too, he did not like focusing on the scars the horrible reminders that only Vampires could see, it made people scared of him this he knew, but Alice did not seem to mind them and as long as he she was in his future it seemed brighter.
She made him want to be a better man, made him want to change his past, so that he deserved her more because there was no way he deserved someone so perfect, so positive and so beautiful as she was, but despite feeling like he did not deserve her Jasper knew he would never be able to give her up or face loosing her, he knew he could not live without her. Thoughts of the Volturi flashed through his head, he knew Aro would use any ploy to get her to join his coven because he wanted her power more than anything, it could make him so much stronger being able to see what would happen to vampire’s everywhere it would make the Volturi almost unbeatable. Jasper knew one thing and that was he could not loose her to them, she kept him sane from turning back into the monster he really was and he loved her so much. His thoughts were interrupted by the snapping of a twig near by causing him to sit up straight in a flash looking for the cause of the sound.

That morning, she had been struggling with a lot of things. If she would have had a beating heart, it most likely would have beat faster than the average individual when Jasper was not around. She loved the man, there was no doubt about that. He was everything to her, and so much more than that.
She had been hers and Jasper’s bedroom just cleaning up the remains of the laundry that even she as a vampire needed to do. Her pixie like nature kept her with a smile on her face—never letting anyone in to how worried she was about the ever changing future that they were faced with every time someone made a rash decision. There were moments in time where she hadn’t been around Jasper—and those times were the most difficult. And the times she worried the most.
She knew that Jasper was still adjusting to their diet, and even struggled sometimes with being around humans. Like the time at Bella’s birthday party where he had nearly attacked her over a papercut that she had recieved, and although it wasn’t his fault. They all struggled with being around humans from time to time, except Carlisle. He had found the most amazing strength and she had loved her father in that regard. Her family meant the world to her, and although she was adopted into this family she wouldn’t have chosen a better one. Jasper was everything she needed, just like she knew that Bella was everything to Edward. Jasper’s gift and her own were difficult at times to control and sometimes took a lot out of them. She realized early on that Jasper was not in the house, which had made her nervous, only because she loved her husband, with everything that she was, all of forever, but she worried when he was not by her side as any wife, vampire or not, would.
Leaving the Cullen house, she took a deep breathe and waited for only moment. She wasn’t sure at first where her husband had managed to sneak away to, but he had left no note which was usual for him. She liked to find him anyway. It was almost like a game to her. It took what felt like eternity to find him. She kept herself at a distance, about one hundred and fifty feet from where Jasper was sitting in the middle of a small clearing. A clearing she had never been to before.
She was afraid of causing him more pain although she wanted to rush right to him, she decided to give him some time before she appeared at his side, like she had been since the two had met and joined the family. She could never imagine a life without Jasper in it. He was her world—he loved her better than anyone. And although she knew they all had been through more than any others in their existance, she didn’t want Jasper to be left alone—to let his thoughts and his emotions get the best of him. Because she knew it would only hurt him more. His life—his love meant the world to her. Jasper had been a fighter, no doubt about that, and although they both had blood on their hands due to their lives being what they were—she knew that Jasper had done more than she had, before he’d tried her way of life—of their family’s vegetarian lifestyle. She didn’t see scars when she looked at him all she saw was the man who had done everything he could to make her happy.
That was why she had loved him as fiercely as she could—and that she always would. All she cared about was that Jasper was with her, and as long as he was in her life, and in her heart she didn’t care about what others thought. He was her match in every way possible. Of course Jasper had made her want to be better than she had been before. He deserved much more than she had been able to give—at least in her oppinion. They loved eachother so fiercely that it wasn’t even natural.
Sure they have lived their lives together, having to hide who and what they were in front of humans—but it was all for the best. She couldn’t imagine losing him....of watching him die. That was the one thing she couldn’t bear to have happen. If something were to happen to him, she couldn’t live without him by her side. They were two sides of the same coin.
She knew she’d go to the Volturi herself and have them kill her. Because a life without Jasper was like no life at all. At least in her mind, and she couldn’t even picture a life like that.
Aro would use any ploy known to man—or vampire to get what he wanted. He wanted power, as did his coven. Aro wanted her gift of sight—of her visions and it was something she could not give him. It would strengthen the man far more than anyone could be able to stop and she would not give him that, even if it meant dying in order to prevent it.
It would make the Volturi unstoppable, and she did not want to give him that kind of power over any vampire or human. It was the very reason why she had wanted the very best for her family—to make sure that the Volturi did not get too strong for their own good.
She had cautiously walked toward Jasper, and had yet to step on a twig until she was but a few feet from her husband. She knew she ought to say something. “Jazz, honey, it’s just me. It’s Alice. Your wife..” She said softly, knowing her husband was deep in thought. She walked forward towards him as she wanted him to know it was alright.

Turning a smile appeared on Jasper at the sight of his wife, it faded a little as he began to wade through her feelings and emotions, she was worried most of all and a sinking feeling spread through Jasper he had not given her any prior warning to his dissapearance. After the vision she had of him being killed he had tried to keep her more informed and was beginning to regret his actions, his smile returned as he looked further into her emotions there was always love pouring from her and it always returned the smile to his face. Standing up Jasper moved towards her wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her close "I know love, I was just ... Deep in thought" he whispered in her ear, there was nothing Jasper loved more than holding her close, if he had a heart beat it would be racing right now, he breathed in her scent as he kissed her cheek. Alice had searched for him for months, she knew him before he had even heard of her and she had still wanted to find him, with everything he had done she still loved him and forgave him when he mad mistakes, this was love, true love. It made him wonder how Maria had manipulated him, what she had given him was nothing in comparison to Alice, she was perfect, his positive and bright little pixie.
"I love you so much" Jasper slowly removed a few strands of hair from in front of her eyes "I'm sorry I didn't tell you I was going .. I've just had a lot on my mind recently and I didn't want to trouble you with it all" Alice always had a lot on her mind this he knew, watching the future and being forced to see decisions change was tiring for her, so Jasper kept a lot of his real feelings to himself not wanting to tire his beautiful little wife further. Sitting back down on the log he pulled her down next to him "There isn't anything troubling you is there?" he gave her a look which meant I know there is something troubling you because he did there was nothing she could hide from him with his power and there was not much Jasper could hide from her with her power. For people who could be such opposites they were so alike in other ways and it made Jasper wonder how he had existed once without her, how had he coped being alone? When now he did not like being away from her for more than a few hours he could be so over protective sometimes, but he just missed her so much that it was like apart of him was missing when they were separated, he could never cope without her.

Perhaps it was her overprotective nature, but she had loved Jasper, so much and that was why she was so worried whenever he left her sight. With everything being as it were, it scared her whenever Jasper left her side, mostly because of the visions she had recently about him being killed. A fact remained that without him she would be lost—far worse than she had ever been in her existance. She knew he was going through her emotions, as the man was gifted at doing so, but sometimes it made things complicated. She loved her husband and only feared for his safety and that of the others. But his smile was enough to light up her world....as it was sometimes hard to see it, due to their lives being what they were. She was relieved when he moved toward her and wrapped her up in his tight embrace. She loved that about him. He was her love, her angel in a sea of chaos.
When he whispered in her ear, if she would have been human her heart would have skipped a beat. She could’t help but smile and breathe in his scent as he kissed her cheek. Her own heart would have been racing just by being near him, and bearing the weight of the emotions she had in her own body that she was sure her husband could sense every one of them.
Distracted or being lost in thought could get her husband killed if he wasn’t careful and that was why she had worried. She had sought—searched for him for months, she knew him before she was sure he even had heard of her. Yet she still wanted to find him—desired to find him more than anything else. Despite the risks, despite it all, she loved him fiercely and forgave him when he made mistakes.
This was more than just a crush, this was the effect of a true love. Something she had always dreamed of but feared she may never have...and handn’t until Jasper. Loving him was easy, despite what others might think. He was everything she wanted.
“I love you too, you know that....I’d do anything for you...just like you have done everything for me, just by being here....just by being with me.” She spoke softly as he moved a strand of hair from in front of her eyes and she looked into his. “I know, you’re sorry Jazz, but you have to understand I worry. I can’t help it. Trouble me with it? I know my visions don’t make my life easy but I’ve always had them. I can’t help it, it’s who I am, and I’ve accepted it. Even if it sometimes is hard to see the decisions being made bu then change—and yes it’s tiring but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Because if it weren’t for my visions, I’d never have found you, my love.” She said as she found herself being pulled down on the log next to her husband. She took his hand and smiled softly knowing he knew her far too well. “I just worry, you know that. With the visions changing...when you left this morning without word—I couldn’t help but think the worst...that somehow you were hurt—or killed and that is something that we both know I couldn’t live with. I’d rather die than see someone hurting you—killing you. I couldn’t live without you, and you know it.” She had hesitated to say it but she knew that Jasper would have figured it out whether she said it or not given his ability to control emotions that he had always done so well. She loved him too much to lie to him.
“I’m really scared Jazz. I mean you and I have seen alot of things in our time together, and I can usually handle the visions but the one I saw—with you dying...it’s my biggest fear aside from the others dying. It’s why I stay close to the family....it’s why I long to stay close by your side, but I can also sense I’m not the only one struggling with things. I know you’re struggling with our vegetarian diet, and I just, I want you to know, that I’m here for you...no matter what happens. Because I love you so much, Jasper. More than you’ll ever know.” She told him as she leaned in and kissed him on the cheek. She wanted desperately to just spend time with her husband, just the two of them without interruptions. As those days seemed to be rare anymore.

As she spoke Jasper could feel her emotions changing the worry and dread dominating he usually positive outlook and as she began to explain he understood why, he hated to see her hurting like this, to watch her worry, it hurt him. Even though he knew it had been him she was worrying about, he had caused this unnecessary pain by not letting her know where he was going more guilt spread through him. As she spoke about rather being killed than seeing him hurt it broke his heart even more, mainly because he felt the same he would not be able to cope without her if anything happened to her he knew he would be reckless and stupid, life without Alice was just not worth living this he knew.
She took his hand and Jasper held her tight turning to look her in the eye as she kissed is cheek "Nothing is going to happen to me Alice, I'm here, you saved me, you stopped it from happening, you saved not only me but everyone. I know you worry, you worry too much sometimes" he poked her gently with his other hand teasingly "but you have to remember I'm not going anywhere, I would never leave you and .. And I'm not going to die any time soon" it was a hard thing to say to guarantee to someone, but with everything Alice had seen he wanted her to remember that he would always be there for her no matter what happened he would stay by her side.
As she spoke about his struggles he looked away glancing at the log and studying the wood patterns, it was hard for him the thirst, it was something none of the others could understand almost ninety years he had spent in a constant battle for blood and power, with a little manipulation thrown in there a lot of pain and guilt. Blood had been like currency back then and to walk away from that and try to live of animal blood it was a hard thing to do, it was a constant reminder that he could not outrun his past and the monster he had once been. Looking up at Alice he stroked her cheek with his thumb "I love you more than you can imagine and I know your here for me and always will be ... I just ... I don't know if I want to talk about it .... I was a monster and I don't want you to see that side of me" his gaze caught the sight of his scars across his arms, Alice always saw the monstrous side to him, there were some things he could never change like his looks, but he was worried still even after all these years that if she saw the monster he had one been she would be afraid, see the deranged vampire he had been under Maria's influence and never think good of him again. He could not bare for that to happen he needed Alice more than she could ever understand she was his anchor without her he just drifted feeling isolated, she had saved him and pieced him back together when he was broken, she had taught him how to trust again and how to love.

She had tried, although in vein to keep her emotions steady so that she would not worry her husband but she couldn’t help but speak the truth. It had been devastating to watch the vision which had caused her to feel like she could lose her husband at any moment. It was why she was desperate to have him around her—for him not to leave her sight although she knew he must at one point as even in couples, one partner needed to have their space in order to make the partnership worthwhile. Although she loved her husband dearly she didn’t want to suffocate him either. She knew that she would not be able to live this life without him by her side and it was one of the very reasons why she was willing to die should someone hurt—kill the man she loved most of all. A life without him well she didn’t think it would be worth living, and she wouldn’t want to.
She hesitated before speaking. “You don’t know that Jazz. The future’s always changing. Yes, I know you’re here next to me right now, and I love that you are, believe me. But I was barely able to do it. There’s no telling when the next time will strike, if we’ll get as lucky. That’s why I tell you as often as I do how much I love you, Jazz. In case....in case something happens and I lose you. Because that’s—I can’t live without you. I won’t. I’d follow you anywhere and you know that. And I know I worry so much, more than someone like me should, but I can’t help it. With my visions, and them always changing, I can’t help but worry. Your safety is more important to me than my own. You know this. You can’t promise me that you’re not going anywhere....I know you’d never leave me willingly and that you’d fight like hell to make sure you didn’t die...but we’re not invincible. There’s always that chance....and that’s what scares me. Losing you, Jazz, it’d be the end of my world as I know it. I searched for you, for months—till I found you. We’re meant to be together forever and the idea—no matter how small it might be, that I might lose you, it’s paralyzing.” She answered him honestly. She felt like that ever since the vision had taken place even if she had prevented it.
She knew he disliked his past life before her—of his time with Maria, and what he had once been but she didn’t care about any of that. She loved the man next to her and knew that he was not a monster. Just because he had done certain things in his past that were different than what he was doing now, did not make him a monster. She loved feeling his touch against her cheek and was happy to be near him. “I know, my love. You’re not a monster...honey. Jazz, what you did before—that doesn’t matter to me. It never has. I love you. And there is nothing, and I do mean nothing that you could tell me or show me that would change that. I love you, and that means I accept you for who you were, who you are, and who we are as a couple. You can’t scare me off. It takes more than some scars to make me want to leave. I don’t want to leave you, Jazz. I never willingly could do that. I waited my whole life for you. You’re mine...the man I’ve always wanted. I couldn’t have chosen a better man if I even tried. I would never have been by your side for as long as I have, been married to you, if I didn’t accept what you were. Who you were. Yes, I know you’ve fought newborns when you were with Maria. But that’s then, this is now. You can’t keep living in the past, Jazz. It only hurts you more. And I hate seeing you in pain over this. You’re not who you used to be, Jazz. You’ve grown—evolved into a much stronger person because of your experiances. Even the painful ones. There is nothing you can or will say that will make me leave you—make me walk away from you. You’re the man I love—I married you because I loved you and for better or worse I’m going to always be right here. Right by your side, for as long as you’ll have me. For all time.” She replied knowing he would have difficulty to accept what he once was, but she didn’t. She had accepted that he had come from a background that was different than hers, but she believed wholeheartedly that he was a better person because of those experiances.

It seemed that Alice's worries just grew as she spoke, he knew he could not guarantee to her that he would die or go anywhere, but he wished he could he show her they would be together forever, if she died he would do anything to be with her again and if the Vloutri took her from him he would launch a full scale invasion to get her back again, he just could not loose her. He knew that Alice would do the same thing for him and he knew that she would see something happen before it did, but he wished she could trust him and see that they would be safe as long as they were together, then nothing could harm him. As he felt her fears escalating further, he wrapped an arm around his wife slowly using his ability to calm and relax her as best he could, he knew she was afraid and to be fair she had every right to be afraid.
"Sh .. Nothing is going to happen to us, the future is always changing you know that and we will be safe and well, so there is no need to worry, please believe me when I say I'm not going anywhere because I'm not, I love you so much more then you could imagine" Jasper hoped she knew that, he did love her, he would always love her, even when she teased him or when they argued which was barely ever he still loved her, there was nothing she could do that would make him love her any less and it was good to be reminded that this still aplied to him. With all he had done, sometimes Jasper was sure that Alice deserved someone better then him, someone who was handsome and clever, who could look after her better then he did, yet for some crazy reason she was still satisfied with him and that was all he really needed to know and be reminded off.
Alice began to talk about how she still loved him despite his checkered past and he found it hard to look at her as she spoke he did not like having to face his past, there was still a very dark side to him this he knew and he did not want of face it now. "I will always have you, to have and to hold from this day forth and death can not part us and I'm sorry the past it's just still there and it will always be there I just can't outrun it and I'm worried it will catch up with us one day" His thoughts turned to the time that Maria had tracked him down and tired to get him to rejoin her coven, she was a brilliant tracker and could find him anytime she wanted this Japser knew and he worried she would come feet him again. A small smile appeared on his face "What a pair we are, my head lost in the past and what has been, yours in the future nd what could be" he squeezed her hand a little tighter "At least we have each other to balance us out and bring us back to the present" Alice was most certainly his anchor she kept him from drifting away and loosing himself, his life could never truly be whole without her in it.

It was in her nature to worry as often as she did. And she knew that he could not guarantee that he wasn’t going to go anywhere—or die, but she loved that he was trying to show her that they would be together forever. If and when he died, she would do anything she had to to be with him again, even if it meant dying in order to join him in the next life. Whatever sort of life could someone like herself have after a ‘cursed’ existance as Edward called it. If the Volturi sought to take her away from Jasper they’d have a fight on their hands. She’d never leave him willingly and this Aro knew all too well. Aro had wanted her and Edward specifically and Bella too, to add to his collection. Something that she would never willingly give. It wasn’t that she didn’t trust her husband because she did, but she worried more often than she should. Even with the gift she possessed, she was still a woman at heart and feared the worst whenever her husband left her side without warning. Would they be safe as long as they were together? She hoped so, because she truly did love him with every fiber of her being.
All at once she felt the comforting arm that her husband had placed around her, and she had felt him using his ability to calm her down, to relax her as best that anyone could manage. She had every reason in the universe to be afraid, they all did. Even with their knowledge and their years of experiance.
“I—I know. We’ve always been by eachother’s side since we’ve met....and I love you for that. I just—with my gift, I can’t help but worry. We’ve managed to stay safe for this long and I should trust that we always will be. It’s just there’s always this little voice in my head that causes me to worry more than I should. I love you too, Jasper. I couldn’t imagine my life without you in it—I couldn’t imagine being alive for all of eternity without ever having known you—of being married to you. There is no one—and I stress—there is no one in the world that I could ever love as much as I love you. We all come with a past dear, sometimes it is good, and sometimes it is from the bad. Either way, I’m not going anywhere. You give me more than you could possibly imagine, just by being who you are...just by being yourself. You’re everything to me, I hope you know that.”
She smiled lovingly at her husband who was brilliant, even with the difficulties of his past. She knew that he feared his past would come back to bite them both in the end but she knew as long as they were able to withstand it, they’d be fine. She loved Jasper and was not about to let him go—even if someone tried to take him from her, she would do anything and everything to get him back. She’d never let him leave, not unless he truly wanted out.
She never believed he would though because they didn’t argue much and when they did, it never lasted that long. She could never stay mad at him long. “I will always and I mean it, I will always love you. I will have you to have and to hold from this day forth—just like I said when we married—that there will be nothing, not even death that could separate us.” She acknowledged it, knowing how much she loved her husband. “I know, the past is still there, you can’t escape any more than I can. If it does catch up with us—then we’ll do what we must to stay together. I know you fear that somehow it’ll cause me to want to leave you, and I can assure you that’ll never happen. You’re my soulmate...” She explained as she listened to her husband. “Well your head’s in the past, alright, mine’s always caught between the future and the present....we balance things out the best we can. And I can’t imagine it’d work with anyone else. We have eachother and that’s the most important thing—it’s what keeps us both grounded and focused on the here and the now—the present. And I love you, Jasper. I truly do....you’re what keeps me sane and focused....and that’s why I fight harder and harder to ensure that you’re still here—that nothing will happen to you. Because I’d be lost without you—there’s no way I’d continue this life without you—I couldn’t because the best part of me would be gone—if and when I ever lost you.” She told her husband honestly.

Alice had always worried to much, it was a weakness of hers but to Jasper it was rather cute though sometimes he knew it did her no good to worry and that was why he was there to help her relax so that she could be her bright, bubbly and bold self. The only person that Jasper could think of who was as caring as her was Esme, Alice felt the need to watch everyone and everything, which was why he felt so bad he knew he was quite a weight of that his difficult with control made him quite a burden, he knew she had seen him want to kill humans tons of times, but each time he and managed to change his future to resist. He did not want to be a monster again and with help from Alice he could resist that side of him, Edward did help that he knew but Jasper wished sometimes he would stay out of his head. Sometimes Edward could be annoying like that and Jasper was not a fan of the idea that Edward could see anything and everything he was thinking especially his own private thoughts, but privacy was not something his brother seemed to understand.
Slowly and tentatively he rubbed Alice's back, "There is no one else I would rather be with and you know that, you gave me hope when my world was most dark, when I was alone and broken, you found me and you fixed me. How could I ever love anyone else? My perfect pixie" leaning forwards he kissed her forehead again "Now do me a favour and try not to worry, I know it's hard, but as long as I'm here nothing bad is going to happen to you, to us, so don't worry" looking at her he smiled softly and comfortingly, he was going to help her out along the way of course with his ability it was easy to calm his wife, it was one of the things that his ability helped with. "I love you so much sweet heart and I know with everything you see and have seen its easy to worry, but please it's okay and you can always talk to me when you need to talk or need someone to shop with" he winked at the last bit he knew how much she loved shopping, she enjoyed shopping so much and he was happy to follow her around carrying the bags, same went for when Rosalie when with them it was anything to keep them happy.
Jasper would be happy spending forever here with her, he loved her so much and she brought peace to his complicated mind without her he would be very lost, he pressed his head into her hair breathing in her scent, he loved her so much and her scent was just calming and relaxing for him. "I love you so much" he whispered pressing a trail of kisses along her neck "I have no idea how I would cope without you my wonderful wife" moments like this were what Japser wished for the two of them seemed to never get any time to themselves anymore, he liked stealing her away and having her to himself. Jasper could be selfish sometimes, it was not often that he was and he was sure people would not mind him being over possessive when it came to his wife they could forgive him for that. "We should do this more often, we don't normally get time to ourselves" he wrapped his arms around her a little tighter, he would give up everything just for these few minutes with her, she was his world.

She often felt like it was her duty, more so than anything else to keep watch over everyone—to watch when the future began to change once more. She knew more often than not she worried when she did not need to be. But it was a habbit that in all of her years of life she had not been able to stop. It was a weakness unbefitting for someone who was generally bright, bubbly and as bold as she was. Their entire family was so much better for each had found their soul mate, even if sometimes there were petty disagreements. There were reasons why she had to worry—mostly for her husband’s sake.
She knew Jasper struggled to control his thirst, and she understood why that was. She was going to live her life like any day could be her last—without saying it. Time goes by so fast and of course now that it was all said and done she loved to just spend time with Jasper. To know he was by her side, and that he would never leave was more than enough to make the pixie girl smile.
She knew that Jasper had trouble with his diet, that was easy enough to see. But she loved the man despite it all. She wasn’t afraid of what kind of burden her gift was—as it was both a blessing and a curse. Because it had saved their lives on more than one occassion, but she had always worried whenever Jasper felt like he wanted to kill the humans around them. She had to literally hold his hand and tell him to relax and that he won’t hurt anyone. She had felt the need to reassure him especially when Bella first came into their lives and had spent so much time around Edward. Edward being what he was—being able to read minds, it did get annoying from time to time, and was quite as invasive as hers was about the privacy issue but she couldn’t help it, Edward could.
She smiled as she felt her husband rub her back which helped to ease the tension she felt due to her emotions being overwhelming. He was her world, her rock when everything else was crashing down around them. “Yes, I do, Jazz. I had never found love—never felt what it felt like until I saw you. I mean for a moment I worried that maybe you would have thought I was crazy or rejected me when I came to you. Because honestly I know it came as quite a shock when I appeared the way that I did. But I’m glad you didn’t because I can’t express to you what it means to have you here with me! I love you....and I’ll try not to worry....so much. But there’s no guarantees especially if I have a vision.” She said as she felt her husband press his lips to her forehead.
She knew she was calming down and part of it had to do with the fact that Jasper was by her side but also because Jasper had used his ability on her. And on most occassions she might get a bit irritated with that, but not today. She needed him by her side right now, there was no doubt about that. “It is easy but it drives me crazy. With everything always changing all the time. There’s nothing that’s the same with the visions. Because as you know people’s decisons change the outcome of my visions.” She replied as she winked back at him when he mentioned the shopping. She did love shopping and enjoyed doing so with their mother for all intents and purposes, Esme, and their sister Rosalie. “You’re really that ready to go hold the bags for us girls aren’t you? For Esme, and Rosalie and I?” She teased him as she loved shopping especially with the family. Rosalie and Esme were the two she loved shopping the most with, as they always seemed to have fun. Even when they were picking out expensive items. Jasper could keep her happy just by being with her, he didn’t have to be holding the bags but she loved that he was humble enough to do so...because she knew most men wouldn’t. His scent was as intoxicating as anything she had ever known before and she never grew tired of it.
It was something she wanted by her side, forever. “I love you too, Jazz.” She whispered seconds afer he did, though she was happy. He was making her feel like they were teenagers all over again—the love between them was more evident now than it probably would have appeared to most a few minutes ago. He was showing her how he felt and she loved every second of it. She could feel his kisses trailing up and down her neck and she grinned as he did so. “You couldn’t, my love. And neither could I without you my loving husband.” She said as perhaps it was selfish but she dreamed of a time where they could just be together. That was what they needed.
Without interruptions, and in the Cullen household those days were few and far between without someone coming in unannounced. These days it was rare for the two to get some adult married people time, as the humans might say. She didn’t mind when he stole her away for a couple hours—sometimes days depending on how things ended up. Especially as they were both a bit selfish when it came to wanting to spend some time alone together. She was as possessive over him as he was over her, that much she had known for a fact. She hadn't forgotten it either.
“Yes we should, how long has it been since we’ve done something like this, to just literally disappear for a while—just the two of us without being interrupted?” She asked her husband, gazing lovingly into his eyes. As it had been too long in her mind as she felt him wrap his arms tightly around her, she loved being in his embrace and felt herself wrapping her arms around his waist, which wasn’t too hard to do since they were in such close proximities to one another. She loved that about him. She loved being close to him more than anything else in the world.

Jasoer smiled as Alice spoke about when they had first met in that little diner in Philidelphia it seemed like it was only yesturday even though it was so long ago, he had been a mess having not fed for days because he did not want to hurt anyone and he had been taken a back by her positive attitude and her care for him. It was something he had not been use to, but despite his doubts and worries there was something about her something he could not explain that had made him trust her immediately and when he took her hand he felt hope for the first time ina century. She had taught him so much not only given him a new family and a new way of life, but taught him to trust and to love again to lead a proper life away from the violence and anger that he had once lived, he would never be the same without her. "It did, but I would not have had it any other way, you were exactly what I need even if I kept you waiting, I'm just glad you didn't give up" That was a common tease with them the fact that he had kept her waiting, he had not ment to in his defence he had not even know he was going to meet her, who she was or what an important impact she was going to have on his life.
As she proceeded to tease him about going shopping he just smiled "Of course anything to see your beautiful smile" Jasper did not mind standing around and carrying bags for the ladies of the family it was a small gesture, but it meant so much to them and he would do anything to make them happy especially Alice. Her smile brightened up his world and if to see that he had to carry a few bags and compliment her clothing choices for a few hours then that was fine with him. Unlike the other guys he did not complain as much about doing these sort of simple things, another reason he did it was to annoy Emmett which was easily done and fun to do.
When Alice told him she loved him his heart could have jumped out his chest, if he had a working one she had said it to him a thousand times, but every time she said it, it just felt like it was the first time he was hearing it, each time it was individual and special to him, the best thing was he knew this effect would never fade. As she went on to talk about their time being interrupted he smiled and nodded "I'm half expecting Renesmee, Jake or Emmett to come running in, I hope they don't I'm enjoying having you all to myself, it makes me want to kidnap you more often .. Though it would not really be kidnap as you would know it was going to happen" He softly kissed her lips "I just can't hide anything from you" this made his life incredibly difficult sometimes he wished he could just whisk her away and see the look of actual surprise on her face for once, even though he knew it was impossible with her ability. It always made anniversarys hard with him trying to remain indecisive on a present so she did not know what she was getting, but she always knew in advance. "I will have to figure out how to surpsie kidnap you sometime so we can do this again" leaning forward he kissed her again softly of the lips.

That diner had been everything to her. She had truly loved Jasper and knew they would be fine once they met—they’d easily fall in love. Her visions had never led her astray before, so she trusted them with every fiber of her being. Sure he had been a mess, and had not fed in days which of course made the situation slightly dangerous. But she had never given up, and was intent on seeing their romance blossom. She had known that it wasn’t always going to be easy but she was willing to wait for as long as it took for him to come around. Which fortunately for the two of them it hadn’t taken long. She had given her heart to the vampire before her, knowing that it was unbeating but if it were, it would have been his for the taking. His and no one else’s. She had brought him into her world—into a lifestyle where there was no violence, and that they could hunt animals instead of humans—it was safer, and easier. He was not the only one that struggled with his diet, because she too sometimes struggled and often had to leave the room if there was blood around due to what she was. Her life would never be the same, given he’d become her entire world. She was happier than she had ever been with him by her side. “I wouldn’t have had it any other way, my love. You were exactly what I dreamed of. And yes, you kept me waiting, for far too long. I’d never give up on the man of my dreams.” She winked as she teased him in return, knowing the extent of the truth surrounding their conversation. She knew that he did not mean to keep her waiting as he hadn’t even known of her existance until she had come to find him. A fact she often held over his head.
He was probably the most important person in her life, aside from the rest of her adoptive family. They had taken both her and Jasper in when they had no one else. She couldn’t imagine not having been with this family. They were her life, just like Jasper was. “I’m sure, though we both know you’d get your reward later, if you behave.” She winked at him, as she loved her husband far more than words could even describe. He was what kept her sane and balanced, which was why she was willing to protect him, willing to love him irregardless of his past. Or hers. She was happy that he was different from their brothers, who were well needless to say a pain when it came to going shopping as neither really enjoyed it, even if it meant they could be with their partners.
She smiled as she looked at her husband, as he brought up their niece, Renesmee and their brother Emmett or their neice’s imprint Jacob Black. “Well if they do, we’ll give them a run for their money, so to speak. Besides, we spend all the time with these guys, the least they could do, as much as we both love them, that they give us time alone. At least if they were smart they would. Emmett and Jake are the two I’d worry about. Nessie of course could figure it out in mere seconds. The others I know it would take them longer.” She teased as she leaned in to him, loving being in his company.
“Kidnap me eh? But of course I’d know it was going to happen, unless you were too indecisive and changed your mind at the last minute. Which as you know you’re quite capable of doing.” She smiled as he was incredible. They loved eachother and sometimes it was a battlefield when it came to Jasper wanting to surprise her with things, because, due to her gift, she often was able to see things ahead of time. “Just like I can’t keep anything from you.” She replied seconds after he had kissed her on the lips. She loved it when he did that, it would have made her heart skip a beat if she had one that was viable—and still in working condition. Anniversaries were something to remember, even if they had a lot of them in their long existance. “I’m looking forward to it, my love.” She smirked. “But maybe I ought to kidnap you instead? Seeing as how you don’t have my gift.” She winked, kissing him on the lips once more. She loved the taste of them.

Jasper could not help but smile when Alice talked about him being exactly what she had dreamed off, he really doubted that was true but did not want to say anything, who would dream of someone looking like him a mess of scars, he was hardly handsome or good looking the only thing that he had that could possibly be attractive was his personality. Still she said she would never give up on him and he was glad that he knew that was true, she would always be there for him and sometimes that was all he needed to know, that she was going to be there for him. She went on to tease him about keeping her waiting to which he replied with his usually line "My apologies Ma'am" He spoke putting on his southern accent which he had learnt to hide over the years with their traveling around and all their different stories he needed to loose it sometimes to fit in with the group.
Jasper's mood had definitely improved he laughed as she teased him about shopping and getting his reward if he behaved, he always behaved he was unlike Emmett and Edward in that way he did not want to cause trouble or be a burden he messed around with them sometimes, but did not go out of his way to be a nuisance like Emmett did at times. As the conversation turned back to them being interrupted he smiled Renesmee was sweet and she would understand them having alone time Jacob and Emmett were the two to worry about if they came along it would take them a while to get rid of them "That is very true, but I think Emmett won't be around he is a little annoyed with me after I beat him in a wrestling match last night, but he will want a rematch sometime since I'm the only one he can almost get a fair fight from so we might have to be a little careful" Jasper loved play fighting with his brothers it was always fun, especially with Emmett's constant complaints about Edward using his ability to cheat, they were always fun to watch fighting, but even though Edward had this advantage Jasper had managed to beat him a few times. As for Emmett it depended on the day, he was most certainly stronger than Jasper, but Jasper had the experience to beat him also if Emmett let his anger get the better of him then Jasper could have him down in seconds.
When Alice spoke about kidnapping him his smile grew, it would be easier for her to kidnap him then the other way around because he would have to keep changing his mind whilst figuring out a plan where as she just had to see where he was going and turn up there. "Well I guess we are both going to have to watch out for the other trying to kidnap them" He teased, knowing that this was going to turn into their new game, it meant he would have to be more cautious walking about just in case she did try to kidnap him. "It would be too easy for you to kidnap me, it's more of a challenge for me to kidnap you" Jasper teased again "If only I had your gift then it would make the game a little fairer, I guess I could make you feel guilty about cheating, but that's all I could do with mine" Sometimes Jasper's gift could be amazing, but in most situations it was useless if he was not trying to keep the peace or convince someone to do something, if there were too many emotions going on at the same time especially strong ones like pain and anger they gave Jasper a headache, which was probably why he had found such a positive and loving family, the only peoples anger he had to worry about were Rosalie and Bella's, which most of the time were not that bad.

It was true though, no matter what he looked like or what his past was, Jasper was the perfect guy for her. He balanced her out. The way that she was able to balance him. They were a perfect pair, even if others did not understand why it was they worked so well. She smiled as she watched her husband. Didn’t he know that looks weren’t everything? She loved him, for him, for his personality—for his compassion, and his protective nature. Not because he was good looking—although to her he was, but most good looking guys were not near as understanding, compassionate, and protective as Jasper was, and that was what made him more unique in her mind. She would never give him up, she would fight through whatever she had to, in order to keep him by her side.
She couldn’t help but grin when he called her Ma’am. It was the usual line he always said, which of course, didn’t get old even though she’d heard it more times than she could count. His southern accent was one of her favorites, even though he had a tendancy of not using it when they travelled, how he chose to hide it, so that he could ‘fit in’ more with their group. She felt he didn’t need to hide it, that his accent—made him who he was. It was nothing to be afraid of, or be guilty of.
Jasper was the one that kept her sane, and whole and balanced. Without him, she didn’t know where she would be. Never in her life had she met someone like him. She was grateful that her husband was one of the more behaved gentlemen when the family went to go shop. Emmett and Edward, as much as she loved their brothers, could be a bit of a nuisance, but she loved them nevertheless. She didn’t mind the fact they could get interrupted, it would just mean they would have to figure out another time to be alone, if they couldn’t get them to go away for a while longer. She loved her family and that was evident in her eyes. Nessie would understand that she and Jasper needed time alone but Emmett and Jacob however, both were the ones to worry about. Of course although she respected Jacob for what he had done for Nessie, he was after all still a wolf....and he did smell awful! She couldn’t help but smile at her husband. “Yes well Emmett should know not to challenge you to wrestle. That’s like asking for trouble. However, if he wants a rematch, he can get one later, becuase right now this is our time.” She replied, knowing it was the truth. She wasn’t going to let her husband be taken for rematch if she had anything to do with it. As much as she loved her husband and loved watching him ‘play’ fight with their brothers, she couldn’t help but want a little time with her husband alone.
Those times were even more rare. “Well I’m sure we’ll think of something, and we can be a little careful, I think.” She grinned as she thought about how their family dynamic was, and how close they were with eachother. Most humans probably thought that it was weird that all of them were brothers and sisters and yet were ‘together, as in couples. Yes, even though they weren’t biologically related, most humans thought it was weird how their father, Carlisle, was this matchmaker of sorts, at least that’s what she’d overheard some of the girls say in Highschool around the time they were introduced to their newest sister, Bella Swan—now Cullen.
She grinned as she looked at her husband. This would be quite the challenge at least...could turn into quite the game if one had to ask her. She loved the thought of it. The challenge would be to get it done when he least expected it. Of course she could see it coming when he tried, but he didn’t have that kind of advantage. She winked at him. “Well of course, but either way, as long as we spend time together, it doesn’t matter who kidnaps whom.” She winked as she kissed him on the lips once before pulling her head away only briefly. She couldn’t help but laugh when he said he wished he had her ability to make things a little more fair. “Yes but that’s what makes it fun. You trying to hide it from me, and me trying to figure it out. But you know your gift is just as amazing. I can’t tell you how many times you’ve made me feel slightly guilty when I see something I know I shouldn’t be seeing especially when you try to pick out an anniversary gift.” She smiled softly, loving this moment with Jasper. Jasper was a loving soul, and could keep her calm, even without using his ability.
Although there was sometimes too many emotions to control at once, and it was even harder when the emotions were especially strong like the pain and anger. She didn’t need to have his power to know that it was enough to give her husband a headache. But in their family, there wasn’t a whole lot of pain to be dealing with, just joy and love. Anger of course reared its ugly head once in a while, but most of the time, the two they had to worry about was their sisters, Rosalie and Bella. But generally it wasn’t all that bad. Which was a good thing as it kept everyone sane.

Jasper laughed when Alice spoke about how Emmett should not pick a fight with him, this was true sometimes he wondered why Emmett had not learnt the lesson, but Jasper did not mind he felt the activity brought him closer to his adopted brothers and it also made him feel more of apart of the family. "Of course he can rematch me later, Why would I want to wrestle Emmett when I can spend time with you" he teased of course Emmett could wait he would much rather spend time with his little Alice instead, she was way more fun then wrestling leaning over he kissed her cheek as she went on to talk more about their whole kidnapping little game. Jasper knew this was going to escalate quickly and he knew that they were both going to take this to seriously, still it would be fun and it meant they would get to spend more time together, so he was not going to complain at all.
As she spoke about how great his ability was he laughed, he knew his ability had it's advantages at times, but it did come with a fare few disadvantages, it was great when you sensed the happy emotions especially love, but the negative emotions were draining pain and anger were difficult to control. Jasper also knew he had to be careful not to create false emotions about people he could easily accidentally make other people fall in love or make someone fall asleep if he calmed them too much, also when there were lots of people around that was the worst he could feel exactly what each individual person was feeling it was even worse when they were at school because there every second people's emotions were changing, dealing with that and the temptation to rip of all their heads was always difficult. "I see your point little lady, maybe I should use my gifts with you more often and you should feel guilty when you see the presents i'm buying, last anniversary Edward told me you were specifically watching my future to find out, so of course I'm going to make you feel guilty" He teased as she kissed him gently, in the small clearing away from the other emotions of the world all Jasper could feel was her love and his love for her, this was how he wished every day could be. "Well I guess all that is left to say is may the slightly weird kidnapping game begin, may the best man .......... or woman win" Jasper kissed her quickly on the lips to stop her arguing with him about what he had just said.
As they pulled away he kissed the tip of her nose gently, there had been something troubling him for awhile now and Jasper knew he had to tell Alice at some point and though he did not want to spoil their moment now it was the best time that he thought he could tell her. "I got a letter today" This letter had been on his mind a lot he was not sure how to explain it to Alice or whether she had seen it in his future already, but he wanted to tell her before she did see it if she had not already "Aro want's me to help keep that Ball of his calm with my ability, I would be an honorary guard for the night" It was odd, but Jasper felt a little flattered by the letter his gift was usually considered insignificant and worthless, this was the first time the Volturi were actually taking an interest in his gift, it made him wonder whether they were actually testing him and his ability, "I didn't know if you already knew that, but I wanted to let you know" He gently lifted her head to look at him "It's nothing serious, I'm not being collected or anything they have not had any interest in my ability, I just think he want's the night to run smoothly .. I think, so don't worry he also did guarantee that I would be able to spend the entire night with you and that's a good thing because I swear I'm not letting you out of my sight for a second whilst we are there" Jasper held her a little tighter assessing her emotions wondering how she would respond to this news and hoping she would not worry too much, he would never dream of joining the Volturi and he knew the same went for her, the only reason they would want him would be to get to Alice and he refused to be used by anyone to hurt his wife.
