Chelsea had known from first had experience how terrifying it had been when she first fell for Afton. He had of course saved her but he loved her on a level she could not match when they first started together. He had loved her even as a human. But Chelsea was far too selfish for love when she was human. She knew that from the day Aro had changed her, she had to change for good. She had too many bad personality traits. She could no longer act like the world revolved around her because it did not. Her own kingdom had fallen. She was no longer the princess that she had been before.
She had had to change in more ways than one. She had had to give over to the love that Afton was showing her. She loved him back, once she had sorted herself out she loved him more than she could ever show. He had been the reason she was even alive. He was also the person that helped change her into a better person. She had been terrified at first but everything got better and she knew that it would get better for Katherine too.
"It's not simple, but the first tip I'd give you is give in. Don't fight it. Don't think about it. Use your instincts, your gut feeling. If it feels right do it. If you want to do it." She smiled softly at Katherine. She wished that during her time of need she had someone to show her. Sure she had Aro but it had to come from a woman. Men were just different. "I know you aren't a gold digger." She laughed. She hadn't meant for her words to have come out to make Katherine look like a gold digger.
"I just meant that he will look after you" She chuckled.

Falling for Alex was not something she was used to. No matter how difficult it might be, she was going to put her heart and soul, into this relationship, whatever was left of her old life into it. Being human she had been one to kill even without mercy, a trait she had continued when she had been turned into the vampire she was today. Love was like a fleeting dream to her back then and even now she was sure that it was anything but a dream.
Vampires did not dream because they did not sleep, but she knew if she did, it would be about him, about Alex, and about herself. She had changed in alot of ways by being with Alex. Sure she was still cruel and calculated but around him she could be almost sweet, something very few others had ever known her to be. She was no more a princess of the night than anyone else was. In Ireland there had even been ghost stories of her existance within the peaceful towns, how she would come into villiages, select the men and take them somewhere and kill them, and leave their mangled and drained bodies for their families to see upon waking. It wasn’t about sex or love for her when she did torture her victims. It was something else altogether sinister. She had had to change in more than just one way over her lifetime otherwise details would start to build and the human police would have a case against her.
Of course she would have killed them the second they found out about her but that was besides the point. When it came to love and romance she had been through more than she could ever imagine. She had been terrified of the prospects of it but even just being with Alex had made her feel well better than she had in over three thousand years. Still she had a feeling that things would get better with time, just like Chelsea had said it would.
She had been scared out of her mind on how to make it work. “Yeah well I appreciate the tips. I’ll try it. I couldn’t fight him, fight it if I even tried. It all kind of came together naturally. My instincts? You really want me to use them? Chelsea, my only instincts are to kill without question, nothing more nothing less.” She chuckled with a smile lingering afterwords. “My gut feeling tells me it’ll work out, that it has to. You know I just I have never been one to feel comfortable around most guys, given my past, but with him, it’s something else altogether. I mean it was like....like nothing I’ve ever felt before, like we were magnatized to eachother or something. As strange as that might sound.” Men were complicated creatures she knew that better than anyone. She smiled, with a raised eyebrow when Chelsea laughed. “I know what you meant. But I’m just saying I don’t need expensive gifts to keep me happy, and to keep me with him, him alone does it. We both know I’m not a gold digger, if I was I would’ve probably been dead long before now. I think he will look out for me, just like I will for him. Because we both know that Afton looks after you and you look after him too.” She grinned as she looked at her most trusted friend. She loved this conversation. It felt nice to just have some girl time as they spoke to one another at the bar in which they were sitting.

Chelsea laughed again musically. Sometimes she wondered if Katherine really was a girl. Sure she had had a bad time with men but it was like she was male. "No, I dont mean kill the poor guy. I mean when you are together and you feel something do it. If you want to kiss him kiss him. The only thing he can do is say no and I doubt he will." She smiled brightly. There was so many beautiful oportunites in a new relationship. So many things to discover and explore together. Even till this date she was still learning with Afton and he was learning with her.
"From what you are saying, you will work out. It seems like you have found your soul mate Kathie. Its a lot stronger as a vampire I feel. Humans use the word love like it is a silly little word. But for a vampire it is obviously a lot different. When you find the one it hits you like a truck." Sure it had taken Chelsea a bit longer than it should have but she realized in the end.
"He seems like the sort to give expensive presents though." She smiled softly when she spoke of Afton. It was really Afton who looked after her more than anything.

She smiled at her old friend and chuckled. As a vampire she was used to handling things by trusting her instincts but in this case she couldn’t even trust those. Since they would only make things worse not better. “No, I know what you meant but you said to trust my instincts and that is what my instincts lead to, Chelsea.” A grin appeared on her face as she knew what Chelsea had meant. “You’re right he most likely wouldn’t say no. But the point of the matter is, it’s different. He’s Aro’s father, you know. And we can’t be who we are while we’re within the castle. You can’t really be affectionate with one another there. Since it’s always been more like a business than anything else. But outside the castle we can be who we are, towards eachother.” She knew the rules as she had seen that there was no real expression of devotion or even love among the couples that she had seen within the walls of the Volturi’s home. Chelsea would know that better than anyone really. Still she was excited for the prospect of learning more about Alex and to have their bond grow much stronger than it already seemed to be.
Time could not put a damper on the kind of learning that only a couple could do with one another. She had seen that with Chelsea and Afton and had loved seeing how happy and strong as they both were together. “I hope so. I really do. I’ve never felt like this before Chelsea, I mean it’s overwhelming...it’s like nothing else really matters. But you’re right, humans do take the word for granted instead of applying it for what it really means and what it should be. Everything is different when you’re a vampire, Chelsea. Even fighting is different. I haven’t had to fight recently...except when I hunt. Aside from that I really would like a good fight every now and again, keep my senses sharp if you will.” Things had happened the way they did for a reason. Even if the reasons weren't always understood.
When the topic turned to gifts she couldn’t help but grin. “Yes, and I wouldn’t stop him if he tried. I’m just saying that I don’t need them. Besides I always thought the gifts Afton gave you were quite exquisite if I do say so myself. But you know, when Alex took me into his castle and showed me around, I was at a loss for words, Chelsea. And I’m rarely ever at a loss for words. His castle is huge and my place is like a pebble in the sand compared to it. I’m not sure what the future holds but what I do know is that as long as Alex is by my side, I’m willing to face it. No matter the consequences.” A mischevious look appeared on her face as she began to think of all the possibilities, which were quite endless. They truly did have all the time in the world to be able to learn and to grow with those they loved and cared about. Whether it be as friends or something more. “But anyway....I am curious about what is to happen. Since the ball is coming up soon, which means everyone will be getting ready for it and I have no idea what to wear.” She grinned, she had enough clothes to pull something together but she did like the idea of shopping of course. She knew that shopping would bring the two of them together. It would be something they could do and the boys wouldn’t have to be apart of if they didn’t want to be. “You know I haven’t been to a ball since I was in Ireland. Granted that was many a year ago. Though I’m sure the traditions are similiar....despite what we are.” She only hoped that she was prepared for it, after all things were so much different now than they were when she had first attended a ball. Back then balls were simple. They didn’t have the same necessary restraints that one like this would carry. After all they were balls carried about by humans, not vampires. Still she would respect what the Volturi had in mind for one. Her crimson eyes looked to her oldest and most trusted friend and truly for once in her life did she wonder what the future held.

Chelsea hated the rules about public display of affection. Obviously the Volturi were more of a business and had to be professional, but she did had the occasional slip herself. "you need to stop thinking of him as Aro's father. Obviously not in the castle, but there is plenty of places outside of the castle. H even has his own castle." she winked slightly and chuckled. She knew what the feelings were like to be in a new relationship. It was exciting and amazing. She could see it all in Katherine's eyes. Chelsea was excited for her. She knew herself that Katherine would ease into it perfectly and she would get the feel for it soon.
She smiled at her friends words. She was 100% head over heels for this guy. It was interesting to watch. Chelsea would never tamper with her friends relationship bonds, but she was intrigued by how strong the bond was already. She could tell just by how Katherine was describing it. As interesting as it was, the stronger bonds like this angered Chelsea as she was unable to touch them. Especially that stupid Cullen girl. Apart from her shield she was unable to influence any of them due to their bonds.
" I've not been to one in a while either. It will be rather interesting but I will be on guard that night." she loved the fact that she was helping out. She would do anything for her master, and she knew that he needed her for this.

Looking at her friend, she couldn’t help but grin. It was something that she couldn’t help. Sitting next to her friend she was glad they had a chance to talk. “I know, Chelsea. And I don’t....I mean I don’t just think about him as just being Aro’s father, because when I knew him....when I met him, you know he hadn’t turned Aro yet. It’s....it’s just all very complicated, I guess. I know, I’ve been to his castle which by the way makes my place seem like a tiny pebble!”
She grinned as she looked at her old friend. There was so much more going on that she just did not entirely understand. She had never felt like this. It was as though she was floating when she walked. Like everything was brand new, and calmingalmost. Which was a strange sensation to feel after having a chaotic upbringing. Maybe soon she would be able to ease into it, like Chelsea had and she was more than ready for that too.
She didn’t have to be able to read minds to know how her friend was, when it came to bonds of course. Everything was different now and she had to at least protect what mattered. The truth was she was head over heels in love right now, with Alex, and with their newfound relationship. Never did she imagine she’d be that type of girl. To ever fall in love much less admit to it. The fact of the matter was Chelsea’s power was good for influencing people, but when the bond got to be so strong it wasn’t able to overcome that bond. Which of course angered her old friend and she understood that just by the look on her face at times. She hadn’t had that kind of bad luck with her own, but then again, if it weren’t for bad luck sometimes she wondered if she would have any luck at all. She couldn’t help but smile when she thought of the ball. It would be the first time she would be attending one since finding a mate. Although that had never stopped her from crashing a few, granted they weren’t ones that were orchastrated by the Volturi. If they had been she would have most likely been dead by now. A fact she didn’t want to tempt now. She had too much to live for. After all she had faced this world alone for far too long as it was. She did not want to have to go back to that, or cause Alex to be alone again. That would break her unbeating heart more than it already had been broken.
“I believe Alex and I will be attending granted we’ll be guests since neither of us are involved with the guard.” She told her friend and smiled. “Though I really hope it’ll all be smooth sailing and none of the covens there will be stupid enough to try something. I’d sure hate for a fight to break out...though it would give me a reason to use my gift on them....among other things.” She laughed with an almost air of menace to it as she said it. “Though I must admit I am looking forward to it anyway. Last ball I went to was back in Ireland, and needless to say at least the one that Aro and the Volturi are throwing, should be a lot more interesting than the one I last went to. You know you would think that these humans would actually be entertaining to watch at a ball, but really it’s quite pitiful. Though they did make a delicious snack when all is said and done. It’s a good thing we can’t hunt while we’re inside the city, otherwise I’m sure we’d all be exposed for what we are. I’ll be going out for a hunt I’m sure before the big night so that I’ll not be in a mood to fight.” She thought of the horror stories that came out after that last ball she attended. How many children were scared that she would come and kill them. Albeit while she did not particularily care for children she never would kill them. Maybe scare them but never kill them. With the Volturi, anything was possible. And although she was not a guard she would be surveying the area in case trouble hit. Because if trouble hit she would grant out luck to the guards, not that they needed it, to ensure that everything went according to plan.

Chelsea chuckled musically. "There will be a vast change in him since when you last met him but he is still Alex." Fixing her hair she looked to Katherine with a mischievous grin. "Perhaps it will be your castle one day too?" Chelsea liked to tease people sometimes and although she knew that Katherine was not in this for the money, and cringed at the thought of it it was still fun to play up Alex's wealthy status.
Sometimes she missed her own castle, but it was now in ruin. Aro had offered to have it fixed for her but she knew that it was the past now and she had to move on. There was no point in living in Greece in a huge castle with thousands of tourists flocking to see the newly renovated castle when she was just as happy in Volterra with her master and her mate. Sometimes you just had to take what life dealt you.
"I am glad you will be attending. I'm sure the covens wont be stupid enough to attack us on our own grounds. Especially those Cullen's." Her beautiful face changed from its normally friendly nature to a growling angel. She really did hate the Cullens. She had been so embarrassed when she had tried to influence them and failed. Then again they had all been embarrassed that day, even Jane and Alec. However Chelsea did not take to it as kindly as the others did. No one made her a fool. "Master always puts on a great party, and this will be the party of all parties." She smiled fondly. It was astonishing how quickly she could go from angry to happy.

She couldn’t help but chuckle. Alot had really changed in the last few years. But more important than that it had happened even more recent that changes had occurred. With Alex she could be herself. No pretending to be something she wasn’t. Not that she needed to pretend of course. But with those she hunted, she did, for a while, toying with them in that regard. With anything else she did not. “Some things have changed of course, some things have not.” She watched as her friend fixed her hair. A sigh escaped her lips as she thought about what the future might hold. After all she had never been in a real relationship before.
At least not one she had felt this good about. “Perhaps, but I’m in no mood to rush anything. Unless he is ready for that. I leave that up to him.” She chuckled as she knew how wealthy her mate was, not that it mattered. She too was more than capable of spending countless dollars and none of it would make her any happier than she was at this moment. “I won’t rush something like this. You know? I mean of course it might be a logical step since we’re mates and all, but I’ve only recently reconnected with him, you know?” She wondered if he thought about that too, she would have to ask him next time she saw him.
She did not mind of course as things always did tended to get chaotic in her life. Although she loved Volterra, and it’s beauty, she did sometimes find herself missing Ireland. Mostly because of the fact that her sisters’ graves were there. “Yes, well I was hoping to attend anyway. Granted being with Alex that night will be a lot better than it would have been otherwise. But it will be more interesting attending it with Alex, since this will be my first ball with an actual mate, you know? But even if the other covens did attack they’d have to get through me first. Guard or not, I can still whip them. The Cullens are the least of my concern. I highly doubt they’d be foolish enough to attack our masters in their own home. They’d be asking for death. And I’d be more than willing to give it to them. You know that better than anyone.” She knew how difficult it was for the Volturi fifty years ago after their near battle with that particular coven. She was not impressed with their kind. Not at all. But she wasn’t there at the time, because if she had been, she’d have wanted to rip their heads off, plain and simple.
She knew that Chelsea detested that particular coven more than most, not only because it had been an embarrassing turn of events for her, and Jane and even Alec, but none of them were too keen on it. They didn’t take it so kindly and she knew there would one day be a reason to return to that state of fighting once more. “Yes, well I can’t wait to see it myself. After all, it should be quite entertaining. From music and dancing, to socializing...with the right people of course....I’ll probably stay close to either Alex or come find you if you’re not too busy on that particular night. Because you two aside from the Masters are the only ones in the entire room that I’ll be able to trust...at all.” She did not like the vegetarians and so the fact that there would be some in the room with her, just made her want to hunt them down and kill them.
“Though it probably is for the best that I hunt first....because I know if I don’t...and I see the vegetarians I’ll want to rip their heads off. Especially the Cullens. But if I’ve hunted beforehand, I’ll be able to keep that desire in check.” She grinned mischeviously as she looked at her friend. “But if you go, I’m sure Afton will not be far behind. It’ll be nice to have all four of us in the room at the time. That way you can meet Alex, properly.” She grinned. She was still very excited about having a mate and it showed whenever she smiled.

Chelsea smiled softly. She knew that in almost every vampire relationships that everything happened quickly. They just felt there was so much time especially since they never slept. This factor caused people to rush into things, although it did not seem like rushing to them. "I think you will find things happen very quickly, for us time goes slowly. And you'll think why wait?" She grinned to herself, of course as soon as she had turned Afton it had only been a couple of weeks after they had began courting and then a month or so after they were fully fledged mates that would do anything for each other.
Chelsea nodded her head gently, but it was still sharp enough to cause some of her hair to fall into her face. Moving it swiftly out the way she smiled again. "Trust me, it wont seem like rushing. Now that you are mates you will want everything to happen now. Since he is male he will be feeling it too. You will find he will probably ask you to marry him in the next month or so.. thats if yous are into that sort of thing." She laughed softly to herself. Afton had proposed but they never found the right time to get married. All these years had passed and still they had not planned anything. They had spoken about it but there were other factors that got in the way.
"You will both have a blast. I'm excited to meet him, and of course Afton will be too. If anyone starts anything they will of course be outnumbered. And the Cullen's wont stand a chance. Even though they have that silly little shield and the mind reader we will find a way to get them." Her eyes narrowed when talking about the Cullens. She really did have a vendetta for them.

She smiled to her old friend. There was just no words to describe how she felt about Alex, but she was truthfully in love with him. Had been for longer than she could really remember, but only recently did she realize it. The one thing about vampire relationships as opposed to human relationships was that they could learn everything they needed to about their partner in a couple days, if that, and that patience just didn’t seem to suit them. She had seen that alone with Chelsea and Afton’s relationship. Yes they loved eachother and were almost always together but it had made her friend very happy and now she knew why. Perhaps she still held onto the old values of her human life, why she did not rush things the way that others did. Still she had known for a fact she did not want to be apart from Alex, as being away from him, was just like the breath was taken out of her, if she could in fact breathe, the way that a human would. Still he had done some asking, and she had finally agreed to certain things, things that she was not quite sure what to make of it. All she knew was that her and Alex were hitting it off very quickly which was a good thing. “Yes, I have begun to see that I suppose. Yes for us, time goes by more slowly because we don’t have the same worries and fears that the humans do. Part of me does, you know wonder why about a lot of things. But I was never really one to rush things. I plan. You know? That’s just how I’ve always been. But I don’t know if I can plan for anything now. It’s—It’s like all these things are hitting me at once. I feel like we’ve known eachother forever, despite the fact we’ve spent almost our entire vampiric lives apart before now.” A sigh escaped her lips as she thought of her perfect mate.
He was the one she had been waiting for and she knew that it was exactly what she had hoped for. He was everything to her, and then some. Just even spending that one evening alone with him at his castle was more than enough for her to know that it was going to not only work, but that it would last. He had of course asked her a bunch of things, including moving in with him. But she was still trying to process all that happened so she did not speak of it. Everything seemed to happen very fast. Which was something that she was not used to. She had been used to taking her own time with things. Especially with getting to know someone, now it just felt like that had been essentially thrown out of the window.
“I don’t know. I’m so used to having a plan, and when it comes to something like this you can’t just sit down and plan something. Wait—marriage? I’ve only ever been engaged once, and that was to a human, when I was human myself. Granted, that did not work out and I later ended up killing him and the whore in which he cheated on me with.” She grinned menacingly as she said it. She did not like the man in which she had killed, hell if she loved him he would have been able to live a life without being hunted down and killed like the flea ridden mongrel he was. She did not know the first thing about how vampire relationships worked but if Chelsea was right, she would allow the things to happen when they were meant to and wouldn’t force it. She wondered how Chelsea did it. Since she knew her friend was not married but was stilll engaged to the man she loved even after all the time they were together. A chuckle escaped her lips.
“Yeah I’m sure he’ll be excited to meet you too. Afton as well. It’ll be nice.” A low chuckle escaped her lips, the chuckle was more sinister than anything else. “If they even dare attack the Masters, I will ensure none of them survive, despite what abilities they might possess. After all you only have to know what their weaknesses are....both from their abilities’ point of view and that of the connection in which they share with the others. Once you’ve found that out, they’re easy pickings. Besides I don’t think they would be dumb enough to insult the Volturi by attacking them....no matter where they were, whether it be on the Volturi’s territory or their own.” She stated simply as she knew that without a shadow of a doubt this could get ugly and fast. She might not be a guard but she still knew enough to protect not only herself but others, especially those she trusted. Which would consist of those within the Volturi and that of her mate. Her mate counted more than anyone else though now.

Chelsea knew the feeling well. Everything always happened quickly as a vampire. It was just how it was. She knew that in this period of time it could be quite overwhelming. But she knew Katherine could cope. She was strong, very strong and would be able to figure things out quickly. "I understand how you feel, it would be quite overwhelming having everything happen so quickly at once. But once you figure it out you will be glad it did. Waiting on something as a vampire is agonizing and just annoying. Everything is much better quicker."
Chelsea chuckled to herself. "Yeah if you are both into that sort of thing it might as well happen. It will be different now you are a vampire. Im sure he wont go around cheating on you." Vampire relationships were a much deeper bond. Sure there were people out there that just slept about and hurt people but the vast majority of vampires preferred monotony. To share your soul with someone for eternity had a better ring to it as a vampire.
A nasty smirk appeared on her face. "I doubt they would be that stupid but it is unknown how stupid they may be. I bet they are shaking thinking about what may happen to them when they come here. They should be anyway. Not that it would be wise to start anything but it would surely be finished here."

The feeling was overwhelming but it was a good thing. She wanted to tell her friend everything but knew better than to do it. It was overwhelming the emotions she was feeling but it was a good thing even though it took a while to cope with it. “I don’t know, I just know that I’m happy....happier than I have been in a while. It’s definitely been different, but in a good way.” She chuckled as she looked at her old friend. “I don’t know, it’s just crazy....but in a good way.” A soft chuckle escaped her lips. She loved her mate of course. Love was a new emotion for her but she was sure she was able to think clearly despite all odds. But if anything she was not a patient woman, not by all means. It was one of the things that had gotten her into trouble in the past. Especially when she tortured and maimed her victims.
“Well patience has never been one of my virtues. But I get what you’re saying of course. It does get agonizing, and a bit annoying. I just....I’ve never felt the need to rush things, and now...now it seems like everything has changed. Like I don’t want to be anywhere where he is not...if that makes any sense.” A soft grin appeared on her face when the idea of marriage came into their conversation. “It might, I don’t know if that’s what he wants...all I know is that I want to be with him no matter what it takes...no matter what happens. I know he won’t go cheating on me...that much I could sense when he and I were together...you know it felt as though it was meant to be.....” Of course she had been one to torture her victims but she had never slept with any of them. She was a one man vampire after all. Something that would never change now that she had a mate. A mate was something she had never had before.
Still she would do anything and everything to make him happy. When the conversation turned back to the Cullens she rolled her eyes. It was clear that she did not like the Cullens but she did have some kind of common sense even though she rarely had a need to use it. There was always some kind of trigger that pulled it out....and allowed her senses to run into over-drive. Some were better left forgotten. “I don’t know, but I think with the Patriarch of the family, Carlisle, if rumor has it, is an old friend of our Master’s. So I think if he values his coven’s lives, he will do what is wise to avoid a fight. But you’re right they most likely will be thinking of all of the possibilities. No, I wouldn’t start anything, but I would finish it, just like you would.” She chuckled as she thought of the whole thing. She could feel as though it was a bad thing to have all the covens together, especially when there were certain covens who disliked the others.
Covens of course had a tendancy to fight amongst themselves, which of course the Maters would be well prepared to handle, and she knew no one would be stupid enough to attack while they were inside the ball, it was only afterwords that all hell might break loose, which would be fun to bare witness to. She would love to kick someone down to size. She did enjoy seeing a good chaotic event, though that was something she had once lived for. It was quite fun to kill someone who did something to anger the Masters.

Chelsea loved seeing people happy. Especially since she lived and worked with some of the most depressing people in the world. Happiness and love were the only two true aspects of joy in the world. She just wished that some of the vampire she came across would let this into their life and accept it. There was no use being all alone and depressed. There was enough people and vampires out there for everyone. And of course following her principle everyone had someone. Chelsea pitted those that favoured a life of negativity over a life of happiness.
"I'm so glad your happy Kathie. I understand what you mean. But he must share the same feelings as you do. It is different for vampires relationships like this. So he should share the same feelings as you." She never wanted to see Katherine hurt so hoped for Alex's sake that he loved her the way she did and felt about her the same way she did. But there was something telling her that he did. Even the bond that she could sense was that of true lovers. She knew in herself that it would work out. "It will be meant to be sweetie. I can see it on your face." Chelsea smiled brightly at her friend, it was so great seeing her like this.
Chelsea nodded her head, she had met Carlisle before and had no problems with him before. In fact she actually liked him, he was a genuine guy. It was just Bella that she particularly hated. It just all came down to her being shown up in front of all the guard. It was rare for Chelsea to totally hate someone, and it did take something drastic to make her do so. "Carlisle is not stupid. Neither are the rest. But some may try and act out of sorts and the Volturi will not tolerate that. If master gives the orders I will obey with pleasure."

Being happy was something she had not remotely cared about before. Of course she was glad that she had been happy, and that she had found love with someone who immediately made her world....much brighter. She had never been a depressive vampire but she wasn’t ever the happiest, and now of course that was different. She had never believed that there was someone out there for her, not at first. She had thought she was damned to spend eternity alone. Because of everything she had done. Still now she was beginning to see the dawning of a new era.
An era where she could truly be happy. “He does, of course. I sense that from him. I can tell how different this is compared to the ones I’ve had when I was human....all I know is that I’ve never felt more alive than I do right now. It’s like....nothing I have ever felt before. It’s strong...but I’m sure you know that. As I’ve seen how it is between you and Afton.” She smiled brightly as she looked at her oldest and most trusted friend. She was grateful that she had someone to talk to about all this. She had always trusted her instincs which of course had never let her down before. She could see the wheels spinning in her mind as she looked around. “I’ve always had a sixth sense about things, maybe it’s because I bring luck to others that maybe I’m starting to get a bit of luck myself.” She grinned.
She shook her head as she knew of who Carlisle was, everyone within the Volturi seemed to. Sure she was not a member yet, but she was affiliated with them and that was enough. All she knew was that he was a vegetarian who had been close friends with Master Aro, had even lived with the Volturi for a while before forming his own coven. Now she disliked vegetarians right off the bat, as a whole, but she had never taken the time to really sit down and talk to one, but that was because of her past altercations with them. “Carlisle is not the one I’m worried about, he knows Master Aro enough. They’re friends, I do get that. But they might try and provoke us unintentionally and if that occurs, well I will not only give them a dose of bad luck. Since that’s all my ability can really do, but I’m quite capable of ending their lives should Master Aro order it be done. I’ll have fun snuffing out their lives, should it be ordered. Because even though I might not have the best ability I am quite capable of ending lives with my brute strength....and the fact I’m older than most.” She had seen and been through a hell of a lot so she was used to people thinking that maybe she was old and forgetful. Quite the contrary really. She would love to be the one to help Chelsea end the Cullen’s shield once and for all. Of course she knew that Chelsea was not one to hate others so it was something that had sparked her interest when she heard her old friend speak in a tone she was unused to.
Normally it took something very drastic to make her hate someone, and she had seen it, in the way her eyes seemed to change at the mention of this particular coven. She knew that it had been a hard thing to see, to watch as Chelsea had once said she was humiliated by that particular shield. It made her want to kill the vampire even more so. No one hurt her friends and lived to tell about it. Of course she knew that it wasn’t also going to be an easy task if that was what it came down to. Especially if someone targeted her new mate, she wouldn’t give them a second to even think twice about doing so. She’d kill them on the spot, no orders necessary.

Chelsea had seen first hand how the ball had effected many of the guards. Everyone was stressed out with preparations. She was glad in a way that she had been away while the preparations had begun but of course she did have to do some work. She had promised her master that she would not leave again unless requested to. She had realized that with all these drastic changes occurring that she was needed more than she thought.
"I think a lot of us would take pleasure in sorting the Cullen's out. But there are others that need to be kept in line also. The Denali's are another example that we must keep careful attention to." She had managed to compose herself from her little spout of anger. She hated looking bad. Chelsea was all about looks and appearance, and hated to be made a laughing stock. Sure she had done it herself sometimes but that was by her own doing. not by someone else.
She looked around, the time had passed quickly and the sun had set. Italy was a beautiful country, especially during the night.
