The vampire had a lot on her mind as she looked at her oldest friend. She knew that things had happened the way they did for a reason though she didn’t have to like it. Being a vampire, and with the Volturi, she was able to see things the way they were meant to be seen. The preparations were always a big deal and she had witnessed some of it first hand. They all had work that needed to be done, of course. She had promised that she would stick around and do whatever was asked of her without question, just like always. She couldn’t help but grin at Chelsea’s comments.
“I agree, I think they all need a good sorting out but that is not for you and I to decide. Now if the Masters order it, you know it’ll be done. Until then we have to grin and bear their presence no matter how much we might want to rip them apart. Especially with the ball coming up. Because you and I both know they’ll be there. As will the Denali’s. Which means we’ll all have to be prepared for the inevitable. I know they’re not stupid enough to attack directly but you never know what they might try to do next.” Her accent was showing through, one could tell it was Irish immediately.
She’d been around a long time so she knew that the vampires could either be civil or they could be nasty. Luck was something they all needed, which was something she could give them. Time seemed to move quickly and before she knew it the sun had set and that meant they could easily come out to play. A grin appeared on her face as she looked at her friend. “So what do we do now? Since we’ve been sitting here for quite some time. I think now is the time we change subjects away from the Cullens and the Denali’s. And to more decent topics. Ones that won’t make us want to rip someone to shreds, no matter how fun that is.”
She winked at her friend as Chelsea knew how she was, and how she loved to stir up trouble and cause chaos for the wrong sort, never for the ones that she was loyal to.

Chelsea knew well enough that they all banded together. She remembered the day fifty years ago when they had turned up to call the Cullen's out on their creation. She had been shocked to see so many people standing along side the Cullens. She had been furious at the sight of them, so had her masters. They had always been defiant of the rules but they had never been as blatant as they were that night. The had banded together as many vampires with powers as possible. They had done more than call witnesses they had prepared for battle. Something that normally only a guilty party would do.
"We have to be careful of their little friends. They are just as bad. Especially the Denali's. They will want some form of revenge for their sister, and even their mother who was killed so long ago. They are all a danger that must be watched carefully." Chelsea narrowed her eyes slightly. She knew how to play it. She wanted nothing more than to find a way to stick it to them. To worm her way on the inside and tear them apart from the inside out.
Chelsea chuckled slightly and shook her hair out. "Lets go for a walk. The night is always lovely here. We might even find a little snack." Chelsea smiled mischievously. Whenever she talked about the Cullens she always wanted to rip something apart. She would never forget what they had done to her.

There were some vampires who were smart, and others who were just plain dumb. She didn’t have to personally know them to know how dumb it was to stand against the Volturi, no matter the reason. She had heard everything that had occurred, and she couldn’t say she was surprised. She knew that if anyone was going to be stupid enough to do something like taking on the Volturi, they would gather large numbers like the Cullens had.
It took a fool to go after the Volturi as it was anyway, at least in her oppinion. No matter the reason behind it. She had been angry to even hear that the Cullens had done such a thing. Hell she detested vampires that were “vegetarian” for a reason as they had double crossed her on more than one occassion and had killed friends of hers in the past. Prior to her arriving in Italy which was why she was more than hellbent to destroy their kind should the oppertunity arrise.
She would take great pleasure in the kill. The fact of the matter was she was reminded of how the Cullens had gathered as many vampires who had special talents of their own to “outmatch” the Volturi in battle. She knew they had done it in an effort to not only have witnesses that could attest to what they were saying but in a way to prepare for battle, which was something that she knew only someone who was guilty of an action would do. But that had not been the case. They had not lied about what the child’s existance was, how it came to be, but they had made a fool out of the Volturi nevertheless, something she would never forgive them for.
“I know, but it’s not just their sister they’ll want revenge for, as they’ll also want revenge for their mother and for somone else too. If memory serves me correctly they also had a brother who was killed at the same time as their mother was because he was an immortal child whom their mother created. I’ve heard the rumors of course. They are a danger yes, but we’re even more dangerous than they are.” She licked her lips playfully as she said how the two of them were even more dangerous. Which was quite accurate.
She didn’t have to be close with Chelsea to know how dangerous she was by herself, but with the two of them, that would be like playing with fire. Where no one would get out alive. Everyone would be left ripped apart with their bodies burned when the two vampires were done with them. And that was precisely how she liked it. The idea of getting close to someone in order to rip them apart from the inside out was absolutely brilliant.
A mischevious grin danced upon her lips as she looked at her oldest friend. She loved the idea of just spending time with her oldest and most trusted ally. “Yes. And the night is always lovely, just like it is in Ireland....but I have found that it is even more beautiful here. And I don’t know about you but I most certainly could use a little snack or two.” She chuckled mischeviously as she said it. She knew that it was better to keep Chelsea happy than to make her angry like the Cullens had, but she knew she didn’t have to worry about it. Thinking of Ireland made her smile though as it was one thing that could make her smile even when she was having a very bad day.

Chelsea hadn't really passed a thought to the immortal child that they had destroyed. She had always thought in herself that creating children vampires were wrong. It was not because of the danger but it was just morally wrong. Even children around 12-16. It was difficult for a child to live a eternal life in their body. As a slightly older adult she was able to live her life how she liked it and nothing held her back. But as a child they were often passed off as incompetent due to their young looks. She never dared spoke of it but she often felt sorry for Jane and Alec as that was something they struggled with.
Chelsea chuckles darkly and nodded agreeing with Katherine. The Denali's had a lot to avenge but avenging against the Volturi was a fools goal. Although they were seen as horrible, they only enforced the law. What their mother done was against the law and she paid her price. As for Irena, she was the whole reason the Volturi looked like fools. She had came before them with imagined claims and caused the Volturi to attend to sort the matter but ended up being made a fool of. So her death was also justified.
"I am famished." She chuckled softly. Hooking her arm through Katherines once more she led her off in the path she had planned to take. It was easy pickings for victims and also showed the beauty of Volterra.

She only heard rumors of the child but she didn’t really care one way or another as she disliked any and all vegetarian vampires for their kind had been the ones that had destroyed very good friends of hers that had in her mind done nothing wrong. They were just living their lives as best as any vampire could. Still anything was possible, but no matter what the age a vampire was, they never should be considered incompetent. Though Jane and Alec were ones she felt sorry for only in the fact that they were young, more than anything when they were turned despite the fact that they weren’t as young as they looked. Then again she didn’t exactly look like she was supposed to either, because if she did, well she would be a pile of ash at that particular moment as no one knew what someone over three thousand years old actually would look like. Still in the moment she looked just like she did in the moment she had been changed all those years ago.
She had never been a fan of children no matter human or otherwise. Still in any which case, she had never bitten a child, as it just wasn’t something that was appetizing to her. When she drank, she went after adults, those who were on the brink of death as it were, or at least were horrible human beings who had killed others before. Or had attacked others in such a way that there were no words to describe how it felt to kill those kinds of beings.
It was a fool’s errand to go against the Volturi, this she had seen firsthand. She didn’t care about the Denali’s and the trivial things that had brought them to the point where they had lost their family members who had died because they had broke the laws, in one form or another. Still it was in the past and there was no point in continuing to talk about it. As she knew better than anyone that the Denali’s and their kind deserved what they got, though they should have gotten a lot worse at least in her oppionion. She smiled mischeviously as Chelsea hooked arms with her.
It was definitely amusing. The two of them could do almost anything in the world and it would be a good thing. They could have fun whether it was just talking or even out for a little hunt. “Me too, lord knows I’ve had a hard time controlling my appetite if you will. But rules have to be upheld. So we should seriously go find ourselves a little snack or two.”
She knew they could easily share a human’s blood but she was famished. Her eyes were not their normal red in color, but an almost pitch black which meant she would need to feed and soon. But she could keep her thirst in check long enough to get to where they need to be, at least she hoped she could. Still Volterra held it’s beauty in more ways than she could ever hope for it to. Volterrra had a beautiful essence that most other places in the world could not dare imagine for it to be. Volterra had a sense of beauty that Ireland did not.

Chelsea fed regularly, it was just the perk of being a guard. Aro preferred them to all be well fed. Because a guard was no use if they were overcome with blood lust. She had learnt this well having to kill a few of her fellow guard when they got out of hand a veered away on a path they knew would not be held favorably in the volturi's eyes. She didn't want it to happen to anyone she cared about so she made sure they were well fed, often going outside of town for a little hunting trip now and then.
She had seen Katherine's eyes when they had first met but did not comment. She had planned all along for them to go get a snack because she did not want anything to happen to Katherine. "Don't worry. I'll keep you in check" She winked at Katherine.
Walking towards the more rural area of town she glided along silently, her heels making no sound on the slabs. She had adapted to her heeled life, and made next to no sound walking. It was something that barely any vampire could do. She was pretty proud of it. Spotting a couple of young males sitting outside a bar half drunk she smiled softly and motioned for Katherine to see. There was three in total but Chelsea knew she wouldn't even need a full one.

Feeding regularily was what was keeping her alive and she knew it. Not just in the physical sense, but the emotional sense as well. Mentally she was no good to the Volturi if she was overcome with the blood lust. Hunting every now and again kept her sharp. Which put her mind at ease. She was protective when it came to her friends, something that her instincts had given way to. Chelsea was smart to keep her friends well fed, as that was something that she had known given her long friendship with the female vampire, which was a very long time.
Everything had happened the way it did for a reason, she knew that better than anyone else. Her eyes sparkled when Chelsea had mentioned they were going to go hunting and that she would be kept in check. Which was a good thing, at least to a certain extent. She floated in the same direction, along with Chelsea. A grin appeared on her face. They were drunk. Her favorite type. Because when she drank their blood it was like she could taste the alchohol of course. Although It wouldn’t take but one body to appease her appetite, she could still consume two if necessary so as not to leave a trace.Looking at the men she licked her lips. This should be fun and satisfying.
She thought of how best to torture these victims of theirs. Or they could just attack directly and feed. ‘Course she could only imagine the pain in which they would be feeling but being drunk it would numb them to where they wouldn’t be thinking of that kind of thing. That’s why most of her victims were either sedated through medical means, or alcohol or too old to really say or do much to defend themselves. “Hmm, I think you’ve selected some winners here....question is, do we kill all three? That's your call of course. Since this was your idea.”
She whispered to her friend as she wasn’t sure how much Chelsea would be able to drink, but she knew she could consume two bodies with ease. Still anything was possible and she was going to keep an open mind. She certainly did not want to alert the men of what she and Chelsea planned to do to them. Otherwise they would run and it would be one of those things in which she would have to chase them down...which wouldn’t be a problem except sometimes that got a bit old. But then again after living as long as she did, sometimes that was what she had to expect. She chuckled innocently as she looked at her friend. “You ready? Shall we have a little fun with them first?” She gave her friend a wink as Chelsea would know exactly what she was referring to. She could think of so many different tortures she could put these men through, tortures that were evil in nature. But it wouldn’t have affected her a bit, as even the tortures themselves had long since been forgotten due to how much the world had in fact changed.

Chelsea watched them carefully, they were so drunk. She planned to just walk up to them use her charms... and then get her feed. She smiled to Katherine and nodded. "We must.. they are in their little pack. I only need one for myself, would you like two?" They had to have a plan before moving forward. Killing required planning. She already had a plan for their bodies she would dump them not far from here, create a small fire. They will just have disappeared. From the looks of them they drunk regularly and had no families so they would not be missed.
She raised an eyebrow and nodded once more. She took the lead moving out she walked towards the males. Of course the second they saw two very beautiful women they were falling over themselves. A little bit of teasing and empty promises and her prey way already eating out of her lap. She asked him to follow her to a more private place. He expected sex but she would never give that over to anyone but Afton. Taking his hand she led him just a little further away from the bar and the houses.
She asked him to sit down. Males were easily enchanted. Grasping his hand she kissed the palm and then moved to his wrist. She had to keep up her mask or he would notice. Making a small incision with her teeth into the vain of his wrist she smiled slightly before beginning to drink. He was too drunk to notice and was already getting dizzy from loss of blood. He would pass out before she finished. The blood felt so great flowing down her throat. She could taste the excessive alcohol but she pushed past it to the creamy blood.
She was full half way through but knew she would be unable to let him go like that or he would turn. She had only ever turned afton and would never turn anyone else. Finishing him off she sighed, feeling very refreshed but slightly bloated. She covered the small mark in his wrist and hid his body, waiting for Katherine to finish also so they could burn the bodies. She was unsure the state of Katherine's victims since Chelsea knew she liked to torture them. She had left Katherine to her own devices and told her where to meet when finished.

“Yes, two would be divine. I could consume both of them with ease.” She replied in an almost melodic sort of way. She was truly famished after all. “You take yours, I’ll get mine and we’ll meet somewhere when we’re done. So as to dispose of any problems...that might arise.” She grinned and she knew Chelsea would understand that by problems she meant their human corpses when it was all said and done. Hesitantly she followed her old friend. It wasn’t as though this was the first time she had done this but it was the first time she was as hungry as she was. Having not fed in a while she was predominantly ready to just bite into them but she couldn’t. She had to take her time. It was quite amusing to see the gentlemen falling all over themselves for the two women. It was fun, and she hadn’t been this amused in a while. Taking into account that she did not have to breathe, she was quite intoxicated by the scent of the humans.
She did not need to satisfy herself with the mortals’ way of making love to these men. After all she had a mate that was able to give her that and more. It was still fun to tease them and to make them think that was what she was going to give them of course. Like Chelsea did before her, she took the hands of both the other two men. She gave them a wink each. She led the two men to a nearby field, out of sight from any homes, or public place in which they could immediately be discovered. Mostly because it was nice to be able to have fun without a little hesitation on her part. The first male did not take much in order to be persuaded. Both were too drunk to notice that in their stupor, their lives were about to become forfeit. She would allow them to become enchanted first.
Teasing the two men, was an easy task as they both wanted her. They both wanted her to give them what they desired most. Pressing a delicate finger against their lips....she chuckled innocently. Taking into consideration that she had two to knock down and kill, would make it a very amusing task. With the first she had seduced him, got him right where she wanted him. To make him vulnerable in every way humanly possible.
She would begin to torture them slowly. Grazing her teeth against the younger of the two, she made him want her more than anything else. What others might believe was her kissing him, kissing his wrist, it was no such thing. Slowly and almost intimately she had bit into the one, he wasn’t the brightest either. She had drained part of the first before moving on to the second. She was just waiting for the right moment to end their lives. The venom would soon enter both of their blood streams. The agonizing screams they would call out was music to her ears. Finishing off the first one, the elder of the two, he wasn’t the most attractive and so she didn’t care to spend her time on him. The younger of the two, although intoxicated started to run from the scene, in a panic. This of course was something she could easily put an end to. He truly reminded her of an old friend of hers. Someone she had actually cared for many years ago.
It was with him that she took the most pleasure in the kill. Once she caught up with him, she grinned methodically planning her next move. Her lips touched his neck, as she went in and seduced the man. Which although terrified it hadn’t stopped his desires. With him the torture had lasted a great while....as seduction was a tool that had been used by her more than once in her long existance. With him, she could taste not only the delectable blood, but the alchohol as well. It was overly excessive, far more than the first one was.
Although it would have been quite fun to turn him, she knew she could not do that. With each second that had passed she was sure that he was still very much alive. She had knocked him to the ground of course, and had climbed on top of him. Her teeth sank into his neck, and the liquid poured down her throat. Her eyes had gone from a blackish color to the brightest shade of red that a vampire could possess. The last words he had said was that she was a beautiful woman and that he would follow her anywhere. His words had been sluggish and would have been hard to hear for an average human but she was not average or human. Finishing him off after a delectably slow time with him, he’d been tortured and drained after about four hours of her being alone with him as the first had only been tortured for about an hour, before his life had been snuffed out.
Once she was sure the two were dead, she grinned and licked her lips delightfully. Soon enough she grabbed the two bodies and threw them over her shoulder and carried them to where Chelsea had suggested they meet. Both of their bodies felt light, as though they were as light as a pair of feathers. Once she arrived at the desired location, she couldn’t help but grin at her old friend. “The older one didn’t put up much of a fight, but the younger one did. I had the most fun with him...he’s the reason it took so long for me to meet up with you. I swear I think I tortured them both for a couple hours at least. The youngest one kept me busy for longer than the other one. He was the delectable one of the two. But I see you have finished as well. So let’s burn these guys so we can get out of here before anyone starts to get suspicious.” It wasn’t that she was worried about the humans getting suspicious but they both had mates that would probably be worried about them, and they had been gone a good amount of time by now.

Chelsea chuckled as she saw Katherine approaching with her victims. "You love the dramatic flare Kathy." She knew that some vampires enjoyed to torture their prey before feeding on them but Chelsea was not like that. She got in got what she wanted and then left again. She never took any pleasure in anothers pain. Well not unless their name was Cullen. She shook her head playfully as Katherine placed the bodies down. Her long brunette hair swaying silkily. She was of course completely in tack and looking beautiful as ever. She very rarely got herself dirty as she disliked the concept of it. Also she wore a lot of designer clothes and was fearful about getting them dirty. Being as vain as she was, looks mattered more than food to her.
Chelsea produced a small amount of alcohol and sprayed it over the corpses before lighting a match and dropping it on them. She knew she would have to stay till they burnt to ash as the fire could spread and hurt the other villagers and of course it would be her fault and her neck on the line. She knew that she would never be hurt, she was too valuable for that sort of thing but she would get a rather public dressing down. That was the way to deal with Chelsea if she had done wrong, tell her off in public and embarrass her. She hated public spectacles and she hated people who made her look a full of public. Of course she could never hate her masters but she would understand her mistakes.
She stood above the burning bodies and sighed softly. They burnt quickly due to the alcohol within them. Dousing the fire she turned to Katherine again. "We should return, we have been gone for quite sometime."

She chuckled as she liked to torture her victims as it was something that had never changed. Although she did not sleep with them the way they wanted her to when she picked them out. Still having two victims made her eyes a bright red in color, which meant she would not have to feed again for quite some time, at least in theory. “Yes, I know. But I think I devoured the first, after about an hour into it. The second....I made him wait to die. I thought about turning him, since he was so....fun, but alas I know Alex would not have approved of such measure. So I did not. I just kept consuming the blood. Sure there was alchohol in it. I can sense it. It didn’t stop me from drinking it.” She was not dirty of course. Of course she had to torture her victims after all she had been tortured herself many times over.
She smiled as she saw Chelsea’s playful shake of the head. Of course with the Cullens all of them could see the reason to rip them apart and to torture them. She looked as exquisite as ever, even with the color of her eyes shinning through everything else. Still she had never done anything to embarrass the Volturi. She couldn’t. They could have left the fire to burn on it’s own but for safety sake they had to stay. She’d kill anyone who dared interevene. While she knew Chelsea was too important to the Volturi, due to her being able to bond others to the Volturi, she wasn’t quite as valuable to them so t herefore she could easily be killed if that was what it took.
While it was clearly understandable that neither of them wanted to be embarrassed in public, she had known of it happening more than once, to her anyway. It didn’t bother her the way it did for Chelsea but that was because she later took the inviduals aside and had made them regret such things. She would understand her mistakes but never lay blame where it wasn’t due. It was such a shame the younger one had to die, as he was quite an amusing character for a drunk. The older one, well she was going to be glad to get rid of him to be quite honest. She purposefully drug out the younger one’s torture because he was amusing to her. And his blood had called out to her more than the older one’s had. Although she did not need to breathe, she was able to do so in order to blend in. Chuckling softly she looked at her oldest friend. Watching the fire burn, it danced in her eyes. It was fun...to see the bodies go from their normal form to that of pure ash. “I agree. I know Afton will be missing you and I know Alex will feel the same for me.” She grinned as she looked around. It was beautiful having fed and now she was quite content to return to Volterra without having a need to kill anyone. ”Are we going to the castle or just to Volterra itself, Chelsea?” She asked her. As part of her was ready to return to the city itself.
As far as the castle well that too was important in the long run. Time was something they all had and something she would not take lightly. Over so many years she had hoped for the future to be what it was now. Right from the start, she had found a place to call home. That was Volterra. Smiling softly she looked at her friend. “I bet Afton has really missed you. One of these days we’ll have to get together, you, me, Afton and Alex.” She smiled brightly as she mentioned the boys.

Chelsea chuckled softly. She knew in herself without even meeting Alex that he would not be pleased if Katherine returned human male in town having turned him. No mate would be pleased about that. She knew that Afton would think foul play. That she had wanted the male for a mate and no longer wanted him. Males tended to jump to silly conclusions like that. Especially when their mate was as beautiful as they were. Males always had problems with jealousy but so did females. Jealousy was a very common trait in the world today and almost everyone suffered from it. It was very difficult to trust someone completely in this day and age as no one could be trusted. Your best friend could turn round and stab you in the back. It was just how the world worked.
"Yes they shall be missing us dearly. To the castle I think." She smiled and led the way. She could already tell of Afton's angst. He always got this way if she went out on her own for an extended period of time. She would spend the rest of the night calming him down and appologising. "Yes we shall all get together just before the ball. It will be fun." She smiled widely. "I should probably say goodbye now, I already fear I will be calming Afton down for the rest of the night and part of the morning" She chuckled softly and hugged her dear friend before making her way to their room to calm her overexcited mate down.

She knew Alex well enough to know that if she had turned a male, no matter the reason that Alex would be jealous, not that he would have anything to worry about. She loved Alex, and she was not about to cheat on him. That love the two of them had was eternal, and they had both waited far too long for it to have it just slip away from them. So she knew what Alex would think if she had done such a thing. He would have been jealous and would have ultimately expected the worst, that she wanted the younger male as a mate and not him. Which would never be the case. She would rather die than hurt Alex like that, as she had seen a future in his eyes.
Still she would understand his reasoning of course, no one wanted to feel as though their mate no longer desired them. It was a horrible thing to even think about much less witness. And she had seen it happen to others so she did not want Alex to feel that way. It was complicated as the male population had more of a difficult time with jealousy than the female population did, but both could be brutal when it came to such things. Everyone at one point or another suffered from jealousy and it was something that sometimes wasn’t so easily fixed.
No one was immune from it and not everyone could be trusted. Even your best friend could turn against you, could steal your mate right out from under you if they wanted to. Still she was one to be trusted by Chelsea and the Volturi as she had never not shown to be any other way. She chuckled lightly when Chelsea spoke of the boys missing them as truth be told she missed her mate, very much. “Yes I agree.” She said when Chelsea spoke of going to the castle. It had been a while since she had been back at the castle but as soon as Chelsea mentioned the castle she knew they would soon be parting ways for the day. Chelsea had Afton to attend to and she had to attend to her own mate. She had been gone for quite some time.
“Yes it will be. And I look forward to it.” She grinned before sighing once. Part of her hated to leave her friend now but she knew it had to be done. They both couldn’t be around eachother all the time as both had others they had tospend time with, those who were just as important to them as they were to eachother. Smiling to her oldest friend she was happy to have at least spent a great deal of time with her. “Yes, I agree. I’ll be attending to Alex tonight as well." She chuckled in agreement and hugged Chelsea once. “I’ll see you later.” She nodded and then as soon as Chelsea entered the area to where she was headed, she would return to her own space, where Alex would surely be waiting for her too, and she could not wait to see him.
